**After 2 years of brand new installed units *** I can say I've been very displeased with the results. Assume all the good 5 star reviews are based on the extremely pushy salesman that come in with bait & switch. Making it seem like they are going to be installing the unit, and bring in nothing but young guys who do shoddy and dirty work. Guy pushed HARD for 5 star review asap to get "Vacation days". Pushed for top of the line most expensive unit and WOULD NOT TAKE NO for an answer. Furthermore, they rake you over the coals on pricing. When something goes wrong, just know labor was upwards of $500 for a part installation. The only time they did not charge was when the brand new units were not working directly after install. At this point I don't care about a warranty on parts to continue using these irreputable people who do not stand by their work. Currently battling a heavy leak in the roof from a vent directly under unit coming from the condensate pan and will not call these people to come into our house ever again. FYI drain lines are not the culprit. Too many issues for a brand new unit post-install. This is the 3rd issue in two years or less. To Elite: Do not bother responding and trying to explain away the situation and deflect accountability. You are irreputable in our eyes. read more

My system was unrepairable after multiple companies came out, but I went with Elite because the price and customer service was the best. They knew we have a 6 year old daughter and with the 105 degree summer heat, they were able to get us in next day and we couldn't be happier. This is a solid company, and that matters considering a lot of AC companies out there just take advantage. Elite was fair and very informative about options. Highly recommend this company. read more

I had a very unpleasant experience with them. They are rude and unprofessional. They sold me on a system that's inefficient for my home, there has been a lot of back and forth with them since day one. They've come out and did a few fixes here and there but ultimately the system is too small for my home according to several HVAC professionals. I wasn't given option to upgrade my system when the sales guy came to my house. After filing a complaint in April when it was blowing room temperature air, they came out and replaced a faulty txv and a couple other things and it began working fine but of course it was only like 75-80 degrees outside. Right now it's 98 degrees outside and the temperature inside my house has reached 80 degrees, nothing new for the last 3 summers since they installed it. At this point reaching out to them is going to be futile because no matter what they suggest it's not going to get to the bottom of the issue and it's very exhausting trying to reach a resolution with the owner. Cons: - Techs did not keep the areas cleaned where they worked and I had ceiling debris all over my floor and home decor. I keep my home IMMACULATE because of our allergies, so it was troubling to have people in and around my home with no shoe covers, masks, and fail to clean up after themselves. - I was told during the consultation that I would get an email of the fees and services quoted. At the time of service I still didn't get the invoice so I paid anyway (big mistake) and I was told to call the office. It was then provided but had no details - just a lot of fees. I was able to figure out most of them, but one fee caught me by surprise which had no description for $134. It was told verbally it would be $65 for 10 ducts + $25 per extra duct + $30 per return. I had 21 ducts and 10 returns so I thought that was a great deal. I was patient and called daily trying to get clarity on the charge and after one week gave up. Yesterday was the last straw when I called and the phone agent said: Tanner isn't around but there is someone else here and I gave him your number and he will call you back in 5-10 minutes. AVOID!!!!! The HVAC portion of Elite is NOT to be trusted. Britney @ Elite told me my check for $990+ had bounced, so i issued a replacement check. One month later when my bank statement came, Elite had cashed BOTH checks. What bookeeper/syste doesn't reflect a double payment? Critically, had I not reported their mistake (?) to Elite, i would have paid twice for the same service call. for background, the two well-known HVAC companies who have serviced my units for 7 years were way over-scheduled. In desperation i responded to a ValuPac ad for an $80/unit seasonal checkup. My bad was not checking yelp ratings on Elite, which reflect many 1 star ratings on Elite. Elite ended up selling me a substance that is supposed to "gum up" the site of a leak or at least show where the leak is. Several Yelpers report that the $500 substance does not work. But i fell for a ValuPac newbee, then failed to research their reputation. When i reported the double payment, Britney said she would get with the Human Relations person (not kidding! HR!). It's been back and forth for over a month to get a $990+ reimbursement. I have NEVER dealt with a BONA FIDE company whose accounting system/journal does not match payments to Invoices. Tony said "they get a lotta checks all the time" -- a non response for an inferior or lacking accounts receivable system. Tony insists on retaining a $35 NSF check for a check that Elite cashed --- NSF on a cashed check? really? They were very professional and did a great job! Joe showed us before and after pictures of the ducts and we were so glad we cleaned them! An A/C unit stopped producing cool air in my home; therefore, I contacted Elite Clean & Restoration and requested service; subsequently, my family and I experienced discouraging customer service, overwhelming A/C unit replacement part stipulations, hurtful rhetoric, and confusion. I purchased a Lennox A/C unit and the corresponding warranty in 2021, and I used the warranty for the corresponding non-functioning A/C unit in June 2023. I contacted Elite for at-home service, and the receptionist was pleasant and notified the manager - Tony. However, Elite's offensive, woeful, and swelter-inducing business practices overshadowed that lovely phone conversation grossly. When the A/C unit technicians arrived two days after I requested service, the discouraging customer service experience commenced. Two technicians were in my home; one was arrogant, nonchalant, and behaved and communicated like my family and I were supposed to know virtually everything about an A/C unit (Exhibits 1, 1A). The arrogant-nonchalant technician displayed unfavorable acts during his visits and was seemingly careless about the A/C unit problem - his body language suggested that he would have rather been elsewhere. After the arrogant-nonchalant technician informed me that the capacitor was the issue and a replacement part was necessary (Exhibits 2, 2A), the overwhelming A/C unit replacement part stipulations commenced. The aforementioned technician told me that the approximately $25 capacitor cost $450 to purchase and install - I was dumbfounded because I bought the A/C unit parts warranty, and Tony assured me it was active. The arrogant-nonchalant technician called Tony, and Tony said the A/C unit parts warranty was active, which confused my family and me because we were told to pay $450 immediately. Moreover, Tony told my family and me that we had two choices: wait up to three days in an 80-90 degree house for a warranty claim approval or pay $450 immediately with no waiting period nor reimbursement (Exhibit 3). After pondering the options hopelessly, my family and I selected the up-to-three-day wait option (and paid a $250 labor fee) because a $450 payment was extraordinary and unfitting financially, per the active warranty. I asked Tony how I could cool my home during the waiting period, and he said, "I don't know." Tony's response was hurtful because he has been in the HVAC industry for at least seven years and is an HVAC business owner, but he could not convey a suggestion regarding cooling a home short term. When the technicians returned two days later, they installed the capacitor. A technician informed me that the A/C unit was environmental debris cluttered - critical information that the arrogant-nonchalant technician did not tell me two days before - it should have been disclosed in the diagnostic result (Exhibit 4). After the technicians finished the warranty-applied $250 service for a $25 item, the A/C unit cooled the house for several hours before cooling interruptions. For about an hour, the A/C unit blew hot and cold air intermittently (Exhibit 5). After the temperature increase realization, I called Elite immediately, and the initial receptionist said I would receive a manager callback (I presumed shortly). However, I called again 56 minutes later, and a different employee said the manager had left early and I would receive a callback the next day (Exhibit 6) - I was dispirited. The following day, I received a callback from Tony, and he informed me that technicians would be at my home later that morning since they were in the area. After the technicians' A/C unit-furnace evaluation, the definite issue regarding the A/C unit intermittent cooling was unsolved - the technician said my system was working correctly (Exhibit 7). I am incredibly skeptical about that conclusion because the A/C unit performed intermittently, indicating a problem (or an impending problem) with the furnace-A/C unit connected systems. This business took advantage of an 85 year old man and refuses to take any responsibilty for poor service that resulted in a caved in ceiling from condensation build up in the attic. Charged him $$2800 to add freon and stop leak, but did not verify that all parts of the system was functioning correctly. Called business today and manager said they do not check drains and only made system work again. If you knew condesation could be an issue during hot humid days after system was not operating why would you not check the drain lines? Poor excuse for customer service. read more

Elite gave a low estimate then skipped out on some of the work and price-gouged in the middle of the project. My $6,250 estimate turned into an $8,450 bill. Chris and Hunter both claimed the project to be "Straight forward" and "plenty of room to work." I paid for full duct replacement including new plenum box, sanitize upflow, bacterial cleanse. An expected completion of 5-7 hours TURNED INTO 2 WEEKS WITH 4 ADDITIONAL WARRANTY REPAIRS FOR 6 ISSUES TOTALING OVER 20 HOURS WITH 7 DIFFERENT TECHNICIANS. I HAD TWO NIGHTS IN THE FIRST WEEK OF INSTALLATION THAT I COULD NOT USE MY HVAC SYSTEM DUE TO VENTS NOT EVEN CONNECTED OR JUST FELL APART! I discovered Elite was reusing 8 duct wyes/pressure boxes that were full of 40 year old dirt. The tape holding boxes together was so old it was deteriorating. I called owner Tony and he said that "they always try and reuse them." After an additional $2,200 for "those weren't included in the quote" and "unknowns" the technicians threw all the old wyes down from the attic scratching my wood paneled walls even after asking them to stop. Even lied to me that they didn't when I watched 3 in a row come bouncing down as if my hallway was their own garbage dumpster. I find myself pushing back all the insulation around half the vent boots in my attic and will finish insulating the new wyes myself as I don't trust Elite to do it even if I bring it to their attention. Non-insulated ducts cause condensation. Condensation in ducts cause mold. Mold is bad to breathe. The total disrespect to me and my property was shocking. Days later, I am still picking up their trash & had a handful of attic insulation blow out of a vent landing on my head and a freshly placed dinner with my family. I WAS CHARGED $300 FOR PERMITS WHEN PERMITS AREN'T EVEN REQUIRED FOR DUCT WORK IN MY AREA. Whoops! forgot to post this from the summer time when we had our HVAC replaced!! Also it's worth starting with: the GM Tony was informed of this review by email and phone during the time of service and he made great strides to ensure I was satisfied by the time I posted this. It's due to his attention to detail and care for his customers they're earning 4 stars and not 3. Overall, I'd give them a B+ but I can definitely validate some of the concerns of other reviewers with some caveats. This review was originally written in July 2020 after the replacement of our HVAC and furnace: I do think there is some validity in other reviewers complaining that they called Elite Clean & Restoration for a specific need and then felt pressured to buy a number of other ad hoc services from the technician who arrived to provide an estimate. In our case, I booked an estimate for a duct cleaning and attic insulation only for our technician (Tanner - whom I highly recommend either way) to take one look at the HVAC, gasp, and convince us to replace it. TO BE FAIR: we just bought this house, the HVAC is the original one, 30 years old...the inspection report told us that it was unserviceable and utilizing freon that was banned in the U.S. We knew right off the bat it needed replacement eventually, so for our technician to recommend it as an urgent need, we erred on the side of agreeing with him (how urgent though - who knows? It had been working and blew cold air; it was just loud and obviously unserviceable should anything eventually wrong). I am not regretting installing a new system whatsoever. As Tanner shared pricing information and recommendations for an air scrubber and why someone with allergies would want one, I had my phone/computer open and took a moment to validate some of the things he shared. I found the pricing/installation of the HVAC and furnace (which was also 30 years old) to be fair for our region and his recommendations about the air scrubber (which was thrown it at no charge) to be accurate. With that being said, I can understand contractors can come sometimes off as "pushy" - I would just recommend being discerning as a consumer and if you're not ready to make a decision on the spot because you can't do the research at the same time like I was doing, then DO push back and be firm about it. It's kind of their job to upsell you on services and other things, so just stand your ground if you're not comfortable. Overall, I would STILL rate this part of the service an A because I felt like I was given enough data from Tanner to take it upon myself to do some research and make an informed decision about what we were actually paying for. Now, for rating the actual work quality of the crew who installed the HVAC and furnace. They installed same afternoon that Tanner was here and for the most part they answered all of my questions and worked expediently. They did not seal up all of the gaps in the unit however, so I am glad Tanner did follow up to ensure my satisfaction with the job. I felt air seeping out in multiple places in the closet, so the manager Tony sent another member of the team out again today to resolve these gaps. I would rate this part of service a C- because they should have sealed the gaps in the first place. *I do wish every member of the installation crew had worn a mask though (due to covid-19) and that one of the members of the crew refrained from smoking cigarettes on our property during the installation. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke and I was pregnant at the time so I did not appreciate that. Today's team member sealed these gaps but left a terrible mess in the closet - he used a different type of sealing composite (almost looked like a plaster) than the crew last night who just used tape. The composite got everywhere - all over the walls, the unit itself, and other tubes/cables in the closet. I politely asked him to clean up all of the errant composite left behind and he did. He also spray painted the wall where composite had somewhat left stains. Overall, I would rate this part of service a C+ because he could have just been neater in the first place and we had to wait extra long today without AC running for the composite to dry. read more

We purchased an older home that required significant repairs to the HVAC/duct system and to the attic in general. I initially got five bids (it was a big job and I wanted to make sure it was done for a fair price by a competent crew). The work included removing/replacing old duct system with all new ducts and connection boxes, replace both supply/return plenums as well as transfer box, add dampers, install new filter box, replace flue pipe, rehang/lift/level HVAC system, install air purification system, sanitize attic, install insulation, install attic tent, and repair/connect damaged dryer vent in the attic. John came out to do the bid for Elite. He was friendly but was definitely a salesman. I provided him a few quotes that I had already received and he said they would beat all of the quotes and do everything that was being offered by the other companies and more (I was skeptical). The bids from the other companies ranged from $13,800-$21,000 and Elites came in at $14,500 (Elite's was the lowest bid before receiving the final and lowest 5th quote). Originally, I was going to go with the 2nd highest bid which was closer to $16k. I really like the tech that came out for them. However, he was over a month out and I couldn't wait that long. After going back through the remaining bids, I was stuck between Elite at $14.5k and Bacon at $17.0k (I should mention Bacon originally quoted $21k but came down to $17.0k after showing them the other bids). However, even after coming down they were offering less than Elite for $2.5k more. Elite was including a better air sanitizer (REME Halo vs Air Scrubber) as well as thicker blown-in insulation (R49 vs R38). Before I made my decision, I called Elite and spoke with Tony (owner) and asked to meet the crew and have them draw up plans for the new duct system. He sent Hunter and Daniel out the next day and I was impressed. Hunter is experienced and very technical/detail oriented as is Daniel. They drew up the new duct plans and we went over what exactly they would do to fix all the issues needing repaired. After meeting them, I felt comfortable moving forward with Elite and scheduled the job. From start to finish the Elite team working in my home was great. Hunter and Daniel are a great team and very professional. I worked from home the week they did the work and checked in at different points and they were always happy to walk me through what they had done and what they were working on next. Several other Elite members showed up to work on different parts of the job and all did good work and were professional. The only hiccup in the work was one of the team members accidently tripped and cracked a ceiling drywall panel. He came to me right after it happened and let me know about it and that that they would get it fixed. I really appreciated the honesty and that they repaired it the next day. All together I'm pleased with the work done by Elite. They got an old messed up attic up to par for a fair price. My only complaint was miscommunication issues between Tony (owner) and John (salesman). The bids for the other jobs included baffles as part of the insulation installation. Before we started the job, I spoke with Tony to make a list of the items to be repaired. I assumed the baffles were included with the insulation installation since it was discussed with John and was on the provided bids. However, when it came time to install the baffles Tony said it wasn't part of the list we made and they typically do not install baffles. Tony did offer to have them installed for free if I purchased them which added another $200 to the job cost. The other bids all included installing attic tents which was also discussed with John at the initial quote meeting. However, later when Tony and I were making the repair list he told me he couldn't include the attic tent in the quoted price and it would be extra. The next day I spoke with John who was finalizing the list and he said it would be included as originally discussed and put it on final contract. But when it came time to install the attic tent at the very end Tony called and said the attic tent wasn't included and John shouldn't have added it to the contract. I wasn't going to do it for an additional cost (was going buy/install it myself), but Tony called back later the same day to apologize for the miscommunication and offered to install the attic tent at no additional cost and honored the contract. As with all things construction related, things never go perfectly smoothly, but in the end, I got exactly what I wanted; a properly installed HVAC/duct system and well insulated/sealed attic for a fair price done by a professional crew. My only pointer would be to make sure everything sold by John is approved by Tony to before you start to avoid the miscommunication issues I ran into. But overall, I would recommend Elite Cleaning and would use them again if I ever need any other work in the attic without hesitation. read more

Do not use this company! AC running on 81 degrees. Called them out. Put in freon and stop leak for $840. Wanted over a thousand. Thirteen days later house was 84 degrees. Ran all night. Got hotter and hotter. Was to buy used unit but did not have heater with it, 10 years old. Had to pay total up front. Did not feel good about it. Called to cancel. Tony DeChristopher, the owner, did not want me to call him at 6:00 pm on Friday night to ask for my money back. H was not going to let me ruin his evening! He asked me if I was deranged!!! We got into an argument. Finally got my money back 2 weeks later. Would not refund any money on the freon fiasco. Would only give me supposedly $500 off new unit. Before freon had lasted 1 to 2 years when refilled. DeChristopher called and left a message on my phone. I called him back on Tues after I cancelled air conditioner with him. He only wanted to know if I AC. I had not had time to get another company to put it in. Very rude, not any of your business I said, and hung up. Very unprofessional to call about AC when he knew I was probably sitting in a sweltering house, as he was not able to sell me a unit and $840 I spent on freon did not work. I purchased a cleaning in 2019 and was told at the time by the tech that it was like paying for two cleanings for the cost of one, because I could call back within 3 years and have a second cleaning performed at no charge. At the time I thought, wow! This is great. Expensive, but worth it. So I set a reminder in my phone for 2.5 years out, saved the invoice, etc. Yesterday I called back to schedule the cleaning and was transferred several times, speaking to multiple people, and then transferred to dispatch to be scheduled. Dispatch wasn't available but I was told they'd call back the next day. Fast forward and today and I received a call back - awesome! I spoke with Tony who told me that no, that is not the case, there is no warranty cleaning, they could come out for a regular cleaning but I misinterpreted the warranty, and to refer to the fine print on the contract. I responded that I felt like the tech who came out misrepresented what I was purchasing ($486 is, after all, a significant cost) - and why else would I have put a reminder for 2.5 years out in my calendar to schedule this? I shared my frustration and Tony was amenable to coming out for a check and another cleaning (at a cost) but at this point I didn't want to move forward. He also noted that the tech who'd come out was no longer at the company, so there was no way for him to corroborate my story. Following that, I received a second call from their ops manager who wanted to see about what he could do to make it right, which was nice. While I appreciated the call and the professionalism demonstrated by all of the employees, I would encourage other customers and potential customers to get details in writing about what you're promised. While Elite may be willing to work with you when something doesn't go right, they will ask for a copy of the contract that you signed and you might get transferred a couple of times before they finally tell you no. read more

My AC went out. Inside part was only under warranty for 1year. Part went out less than 1year 5months. They told me evaporator coil was leaking. Then wanted supervisor Gonzalo to come out and verify it. He wasn't sure and told me they needed to dye stop leak to see if it was. $500 wasted to verify what first technician said it was. If you have a heat pump and your system goes out. Don't go back to the same system. Inside only has 1 year warranty. If I knew then , what I do now I'd have regular unit cheaper than I spent. I cannot thank John enough! Our house hasn't really gotten warm all winter and our electricity bills have been very high. We called multiple companies out to get quotes for insulation because we thought that might be the problem. They all said we needed to add more and quoted around $1,400. Elite was the last quote we were getting and John came out today and checked our heater first so he could rule that out before he went to assess the insulation. He noticed there were a few wires loose and once he put those on properly the air blowing out went from 84 degrees to 114 degrees! He saved us $1,400! Had a tech come out to check AC for the start of season. He checked my system and said it was 4 pounds low. The coupon states one pound free. I told him put in the one pound and we will see how the system runs. He said the free pound is subtracted from the final amount. I told him no and that I will contact the company that installed the unit. He then left. I had the installation company come out and check and they said the system is fine. He said he couldn't even add a couple ounces. That makes me think the first company or that tech was out to make a quick buck. read more

In 2021 I had Elite come out to complete a duct cleaning during a special they were having. I was promptly informed that a cleaning would do no good as my system contained mold. After hearing this as well as the scare tactics used, I followed Elite's recommendation and let them replace all the duct work. When my neighbor and I inspected the removed ducting, it was in good shape with absolutely no visible mold. I was incredibly upset but had no other choice than to let Elite finish the installation at that point. Upon completion of this $4,650.00 job, I had to employ another company to come out and install insulation to the previous level that I had. The gentleman that came out advised me that not only was the insulation minimal but there was also an entire area with with none at all. The radiant barrier also had to be replaced due to it's destruction by Elite. I'm wondering why this company hasn' received more 5 stars! They have always done an excellent job for me. Today's was no exception. After getting a quote of $1100 for supposed repairs I needed to my AC from a different company, I called Elite for a 2nd opinion (since I had a Val-Pak coupon for a $49.99 check up).The provider that came over from Elite immediately recognized me from 4 years ago and remembered conversations he had with my husband back then! Today, he and his co-worker thoroughly checked on my system, looked at the vents, coils, condenser and everything else. When they were done, John told me everyhting looked perfect and to keep up the good work with changing my filters and keeping my condenser in good order. They even told me how to clean my vents - 2 of which were showing signs of mold - with clorox and water, . So instead of the $1100 "repair job" I could have spent, I paid, $49.99. Elite has integrity and competence. Plus, they are courteous, friendly and on time! I will never go with any other HVAC company. read more

These guys did a copper line repair and Freon recharge that was a result of a roofing nail and used the occasion to charge more than twice (over $4k) what 3 other recognized AC companies quoted. But because it was being paid for by the contractor they decided to overcharge for the work. As the operations manager told me "roofers make a lot of money". I am giving this company a 5 star rating. The interactions I had were positive. The work done was excellent quality completed in 1 day. They came at the time agreed upon & worked efficiently & professionally. They replaced my inefficient air ducts in the attic, cleaned the blower/coils, & cleaned the clogged up dryer vent (wish I took photo of dryer vent before & after). The new air ducts are R8, who knows what the old ducts are but you can see in the photo the difference. I was surprised how clogged up the dryer vent was, I should definitely get it cleaned every few months. I would recommend them to others for blower/duct/dryer vent work. There is a noticeable difference when I turn the heater or a/c on as there is more air blowing & the house heats up or cools down faster. read more

A Valpak coupon of $64 resulted in me paying $1700. They were a complete rip off, kind of running a ponzi scheme. They lied, forced us to spend money on repair and then left saying that we need a new system. It is unfortunate that companies like this are running.They should lose all their license. I have dealt with companies like them before and learned my lesson. When I saw their valpak ad and the NADCA certified I though they are legit. I check NADCA website and their name is not there. I called NADCA and the lady from NADCA confirmed they are not certified in anyway while they have the NADCA logo on their ads. I scan and sent the ad as she requested so they can persue the illegal use of logo nad false advertisement with their attorneys. I called the elite then and asked if they are certified and they said yes and I mentioned that their name is not on nadca. The lady got scared and she said you have to talk to our manager and after I explained that I scan and sent their ad to NADCA and their attorney are going to take care of the matter she hangup. i'm glad I did my homework before schedule anything with themsince it seems they are fraud. read more

This company scams people for more money after providing estimates. I hired them to remove cheap cellulose insulation and replace with higher quality fiberglass insulation. Tanner was the sales guy and he gave me an estimate based on just poking his head up into my attic and guessing at the depth of the existing insulation. He guessed that it was 5-6 inches deep but he would only charge me the price for removing insulation at 4 inches deep. When the contractors arrived 2 days later to do the job, they took actual measurements and suddenly the owner of the company told me I had to pay double what was quoted. I explained that Tanner acknowledged that I had more than 4 inches, but I wouldn't be charged more. The owner, Tony, argued that he was going to be out money. I told him that Tanner should have measured correctly to provide an accurate estimate. I ended up agreeing to pay extra, but not double. Then Tony had the nerve to send his "operations manager" to my house to collect the extra money BEFORE the job was complete. I had already paid half of the fee as a down payment when the estimate was given. This operations manager was very arrogant and completely dismissive when I told him about Tanner's gross underestimate of the job. Tony and his operations manager are a nightmare to deal with. They argue and talk over you and insist they are right. Horrible customer service!!!! 9/30/21 - This is in response to Tony's (owner) response to my review. Again, he's telling lies. I told Tanner about the 2nd attic opening when he gave the estimate and he did not look in that area at all. Tony states that he "gave me a 50% discount" on the additional work, however that is far from the case. After his crew went into my attic and actually took measurements, Tony called me and demanded that I pay $1600 additional on top of the $2827.00 I had been quoted by Tanner. Of course, I refused to pay $1600 extra because Tanner grossly underestimated the scope of the project and it was not my fault that he failed to do his job. Tony was on speaker phone with his crew and was demanding that I pay more. I told him he could tell his crew to leave and we were done. He then yelled at his crew and demanded that they make me pay more money. I could hear everything Tony was yelling to his crew because he was on speaker phone. The insulation in my home was making me sick and I was desperate to have it removed so I finally agreed to split the difference and pay an additional $800 just to get it over with. Tony then demanded that I pay $1000 extra. I told him that he could get more money out of Tanner since it was his error that led to this mess. Don't listen to his apology. He is full of lies and deception. Tanner called me after I posted the bad review and wanted to argue with me so I hung up on him. He then sent me a nasty text message. I have no idea why Tony stated I was happy with the service afterward because I never told anyone at this company I was happy. In fact, I have a strong suspicion that Tony shorted me on the new insulation to make up his loss on removing the old insulation. I will now have to contact another insulation company to check it out and make a determination. If it is determined that I do not have enough insulation, I will be disputing the CC charges and will seriously consider hiring an attorney to assist in resolving these issues. Again, stay far away from this company because they have no idea what customer service is. They lie and scam people, then hound them for more money and harass them for posting truthful reviews, which shows a true reflection of their actions. I was quoted $69 for 10 ducts and one return. They Said they needed to come out for an estimate before starting. They came out and told me I needed my ducts replaced and that I have mold throughout my unit. I told them no on replacing the ducts and I just want the mold out. They said they couldn't vacuum my ducts because it would contaminate their vacuum. They brought up financing. I declined. I was quoted 1600 to 1900 to "put a bandaid" on it. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and they kept saying I needed to get the work done before the baby comes. I said I'll get a second opinion. The owner talked to me on the phone and asked me what my budget was. I'm a little surprised by the other [negative] reviews on here, but here's my experience from yesterday, so I can only speak as I find ... I was actually referred to Elite by Zerorez. (I have an older house [1941] and Zerorez said they don't work on older houses ... I'm guessing because they won't/can't handle mold issues). Jeff came out and gave me an estimate, which included mold remediation. (I could see that I had mold, btw ... very common in older houses and with the weather we get in North Texas). That's a $600 add-on, but it does carry a 3-year warranty. Kevin and "Blackie" came out yesterday and did a great job on my upstairs and downstairs systems. They were here about 2.25 hours, in total. Observations/Recommendations ... 1. Choose a mild temperature day, so you can open the windows. (I got a morning appointment and the weather was perfect). 2. Buy new air filter(s), to install AFTER the duct clean. 3. After the clean, run your system(s) for 30-60 mins to blow out any residual fluff, pieces, particles, THEN vacuum as needed and replace your air filters. 4. You may see odd particles for a couple of days, but that's expected as any remaining loose stuff breaks free and gets blown out. (I'd do a through house vacuuming a couple of days after the clean). I will see how things go over time and update this review, if necessary. e.g. I would expect furniture, etc. not to get quite as dusty, as fast. read more

1. Everything under the sun promised for cleaning and the quote. 2. Salesman (Jere) promised five years of free system checks under their cleaning warranty, which was denied by the owner Tony. 3. Crew came in to did a horrible job. (Left their work knife. Has a loose screw on the carpet, Left a air return open, left a hanging caulk, never went into the attic to check after promised so). 4. Before and after signatures were taken ahead of the job. Clearly, that is not mentioned to me when I was signing for the quote. I thought I was signing for the quote, but, apparently, the second signature was for after the job was complete! 5. Tried about 20 times to get in touch with the salesman after missing his two phone calls the first day I complained. No callbacks. The owner did finally agree to send in another crew to fix the initial mess. Only redeeming factor is the owner DID send another team who took care of the misses by the first crew. Thank you! But, I am not holding out on the free warranty checks for the five years. read more

There really should be a negative star rating. Scamsters, rip off masters. BUYER BEWARE. This could be the worst company I've ever done business with. Their intention is to rip you off from the sleazy salesman Jeff to the holier than thou owner Tony. I let them rip me off in a huge way because I didn't take the time to research any of their ridiculous prices and possibly signed in the dotted line foolishly just to make it end. They "bundle" so you you only get an end cost. After insisting I get a breakdown of costs, I learned they charge $700 for an AC air purifier which is available on any website for $70. $300 to flush an AC pipe which wasn't clogged and another $200 to clean out the pan afterwards. Really? Terrible paint damage done while removing vents and returns and then had to listen to the salesman repeat himself for 45 minutes tell me they'd fix it, I just needed to go to Home Depot and buy some paint and that all my walls and ceiling were the same the color and finish. Um, not even close. There was significant damage done to a wall and baseboard which he insisted was there previously. A. I discovered air vents don't really need cleaning unless there has been heavy construction, an animal infestation or similar. It's very easily done by a homeowner. B. Not only do they not have to be "cleaned" but they're largely attached to one another but they'll charge you for each, most of which they never touch, but charge for. Good thing though, less damage to repair. C. When challenged with markup like $700 for a $70 dollar item and $500 to flush an AC drain which wasn't clogged the response was they had overhead. D. $136 for a bacterial cleanse of an AC covered in mold and crud. a kid went up there with some Windex and a rag and it's still covered in mold and crud. Just to clarify the criminal's inevitable rebuttal, I wasn't charged those prices because I was given a "discount". What is was exactly remains a mystery. I really just wanted my dryer vent cleaned. It's $200 more than the $350 it cost but I'm super pleased about that having been done. Frankly, I'm so pleased they did that and did it properly I'm writing off the other $2000.00 as a fat lesson learned. They did repeatedly call and text me that they'd come fix any problems I had and finish cleaning everything I had paid for after having a rather disagreeable exchange with the owner Tony via email the evening they "completed" the work. Tony doesn't like to receive emails from dissatisfied customers after work hours. Tony doesn't seem to know every one of his his work hours is sucking time out of everyone else's work hours. The only time we have to deal with contractors takes time from our work. I got screwed, very naively and I'm embarrassed. But not enough to say DO NOT let these criminals into your home.
