When I didn't show up Friday, she was informed of a $50 no-show fee. I rebooked for Sunday and had a great massage. At checkout, I mentioned that I'd had some issues leading up to the appointment. No one asked what those issues were or how they could improve--which felt like a missed opportunity for genuine customer care. I explained the situation, acknowledging that there was fault on both sides: the spa misbooked the date, and my mom didn't confirm the texts.
