This review is long over due. Do NOT trust Elite Auto Network!! I wish i could give a negative rating. I was looking to buy a mini cooper convertible and contacted Todd after I saw their listing. Seeing all the previous positive reviews, I gained confidence in going through a car purchase with a third party network. The seller remained completely anonymous throughout the process. We got fooled by the good customer service of these guys. Got the VIN number and checked the auto history which looked clean. To get the vehicle inspected, they have a catch that it has to be within 10 mile radius of where they were located. Got the car inspected from one of their recommended shops in the area and the mechanic gave a positive feedback. We purchased the car from them and drove home happily. They kept assuring the whole time, it is a great car and it had a clean history. Only a few days later, took the car for second opinion in our area only to find out the shocking fact that the car had been involved in a major accident and there are at least a dozen things that needs to be fixed and half of them needed immediate attention. Our mechanic advised that it is not safe to drive the car without fixing the rear shock replacement, control arm replacement, wheel getting straightened and so on... We contacted Todd immediately several times over the phone and tried to follow up on several unresponsive emails. He mentioned he would contact the seller and would get their insurance company to fix these issues. But he would never return our calls or emails. At this point, even the accident showed up in the AUTO check history. Todd never got back to us and we ended up in putting our money to fix the issues. In addition to this, it took about 4 months to get the vehicle registered on our name. The seller would not provide the needed documents to our bank. As elite network (Keith/Todd) was mediating between seller and us, it took us many weeks to get the required documents for registration. Overall, it was a terrible experience for us with Elite auto network. We had to go through emotional distress, lost money, time and dissatisfaction. I would not recommend them to any one.
