It's the first time we've had such a fine dining experience at home and Ryan made it truly effortless. The most difficult task was choosing our dinners, given the diverse list of offerings. They all sounded delicious. Each night, we followed Ryan's simple heating instructions and enjoyed. Over four nights we had the following: Night 1 - Chimichurri Flank Steak. It was the most flavorful flank steak we've ever had. The chimichurri sauce was amazing and the vegetables came out perfectly seasoned and cooked. Night 2 - The next night was Pesto Garlic Chicken. Normally I'm not a big pesto or chicken fan, but my wife is. That said, not only was my wife happy, I couldn't get enough of this entree' or the sides; green beans with parm & lemon, or the sweet potatoes. Night 3 - The Turkey meatloaf with tomato jam and scalloped potatoes were fantastic, but the highlight for me was the perfectly cooked brussel sprouts with goat cheese and balsamic sauce. So good. Night 4 - Since we took delivery of all four dinners on day one, I wasn't sure how the fourth night's meal would hold up. The answer came when we sat down to eat. The Lasagna was exceptional. Not only was the lasagna and all it's layers colorful, but the flavor was remarkable. Combined with the Caesar salad and garlic bread sides, we felt as if we were eating at a fine Italian restaurant in the city. We cannot recommend Ryan and Aina Kai Culinary Services enough. Ryan's food and ingredient quality, portions, service, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our long weekend so enjoyable.

Our first and only tasting was with Englund Catering. We were so impressed by the tasting that we booked with Derry. It was truly an amazing tasting experience. Derry is also so personable, kind hearted, and knowledgeable. Leading up to the wedding, Derry was responsive to all of my questions and last minute edits. His menu is not only affordable, but delicious and plentiful as well! We also opted into his bartender option, which enhanced the experience for our guests. I found Derry to be one of the most reasonable priced caterers for our wedding. When I told other caterers our budget, they would immediately end the call. Derry worked within our budget and we were able to feed our 150 guests multiple times! We've gotten rave reviews from our guests, who were so delighted with the appetizers, drinks, and food! When we arrived at noon, there was already a short line out the door. A quick peek inside revealed a clean interior. There were a few tables inside (plus a couple outside) for dine-in customers. A TV on the wall was tuned to the Food Channel. By the time I was done scanning the interior, it was my turn to order. I got their famous tri-tip sandwich ($9.95) with a few condiments and avocado added ($1 extra), potato salad ($2.95), and a fountain drink ($1.75).
