My son had an apartment there from last August 2024 to May 2025. He was on the 8th floor and overall, I would say it's good building. I didn't have many maintenance problems but if I did, they would immediately, fix it. The management team was also responsive to any questions I had. The workout room is nice and the pool is great! The people at the security desk were helpful, as well. Once in awhile, there was a problem to unload your car but never a huge issue. It's literally across the way from Trader Joes! Only tweak that you probably couldn't fix is the smell on the floor. People cook and the smell is strong. Towards the end of his stay, he had a roach in his apartment, and they sprayed once a week per your request. Is this normal? I guess. When we took one last look around by the workout room, we saw a dead roach and reported it to the security guy. read more

Just moved out of 1130 after 3 years. This is an awesome place to live. The management team is great here and were always prompt to respond to questions or issues. The building services team - from the doormen and women to the maintenance crew - they all do a phenomenal job and are the reason this place runs smoothly. Location: Can't beat it for the South Loop. Michigan and Roosevelt. The CTA red, orange, and green line all stop here. 1 minute walk to Trader Joe's, 2 minutes to Jewel Osco and the CTA. 5 minutes to Target. 10 minutes to the Field Museum and Soldier Field. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores. The area does need more bars, but that's not 1130's fault. Amenities: I personally don't care much for apartment amenities anywhere but 1130 has a great outdoor area with grills and a pool. The gym was really nice too. Much bigger and with updated equipment compared to other buildings in the area. The on-site dry cleaning service was clutch and their package delivery room is really efficient and convenient (this probably wouldn't matter to you unless you've dealt with shipping and receiving issues at other buildings). Negatives: It's one of the older residential buildings in the area but I think they've done a good job of keeping it modernized to the extent that they can. The unit I lived in had incredible South and West views, but they do not have balconies. The no balcony wasn't a huge deal to me until Covid-19 hit. Needed a place to step out for fresh air during the day. Regardless, that is just a characteristic of the building...not necessarily a negative. Overall, I highly recommend living here. I just wanted to publically thank Alex in the management office for being extremely helpful this afternoon. One issue I have time and time again with this staff is no one ever, ever answers phones. The leasing department or the management office (and honestly I'm not sure who to call for what). This afternoon I was calling and knocking on the leaving office door with no response. I called the main line and Alex picked up in the management office. Asked what I needed assistance with and dropped what he was doing to meet me at the leasing office and assist. I know that's his job and he should do that, but it means a lot that he followed through since I've yet to experience that with this building. I was ready to sign a lease and had gone through the application and approval process only to find out after paying all the fees that I needed to be present on the day the lease started to get my keys or they needed to change the lease start date and regenerate the rent quoted. In the time the broker I used and I spoke with and emailed, no one ever mentioned this and they knew I lived two states away. I had only a few days to figure it all out, rearrange my schedule, and consider paying almost $900 for a plane ticket for an in-and-out flight for a 1-2 hour time slot to get keys and go back to my home state. My situation and need for a part-time apartment in Chicago was made upfront and they were not transparent about the process. When I shared I couldn't get there in 2 days without costing me a significant amount and a great deal of stress and gave them a date I could be there, they came back with an over $200/ month rent increase!!! They had several of the units I wanted available and I was willing to sign the lease and pay on the lease start date and come 11 days later for keys, but no! Also, the income verification was far too complicated and it was clear they had no idea how to verify self-employment income. I also found out they changed my application information and did not tell me why. When I confronted them they gave me a strange answer that made no sense and was inaccurate. I became very worried about their integrity and transparency and said forget it! All other places I spoke to said this was not really a thing and they would have worked with me and that changing the income presented without communication is not the norm. I now know I will never consider this location again and am very frustrated I lost the admin fee because they were not upfront. Nowhere in the paperwork does it state that I needed to be present-day of lease start! read more

I've lived here for a year and have absolutely loved it. The most obvious pro is location, location, location. It's close to public transit, Trader Joe's/Jewel, Grant Park, Museum Campus. The staff is always super nice and my maintenance requests are always promptly answered. The in-house dry cleaning and easy and safe package room are really nice conveniences. The biggest thing I love about the building is that the price for square footage is really hard to beat in the South Loop. I really came to realize this as I've recently been on the apartment hunt for moving in with my partner. For the amenities and room layout/square footage, the building is really hard to beat in the 1-bedroom category for the neighborhood. The room layouts are just that incredibly spacious feeling (i.e. very little space sacrificed to hallways so that you're left with a very open floor plan). Minor cons are that they're constantly updating the building (which in truth is a huge plus in the long run) but may come at the inconvenience of some construction noise. This never really bothered me but my boyfriend who has worked from home before says that it can be considerable in the mid-day. Also, the building is on the older side for the neighborhood so there have been quirky things happening with the plumbing (like my toilet flushing slowly) or my kitchen not having a trash disposal/vent. If I weren't moving in with my partner and needed a bigger 2-bedroom space than was available in the building, I would for sure continue living here. read more

Moved in July, and it was one of the cheapest in the area to rent a studio. Lots of amenities that I should take advantage of. Gym, they even have fitness classes, pool, dog deck (I don't have access to it though, not sure if only dog owners have access or not), internet cable package (technically free if you want the lowest speed internet), random dinner nights (you have to pay of course), and the doormen is always great! If there are any issues for maintenance, you can fill out a form online and they will fix it pretty quickly. Utilities are an additional $85? on top of your monthly rent. And then add on electricity that you pay in addition to that. The only real complaint I have is the fact that I've seen the occasional cockroach in my apartment. Granted each time I've seen one they sent the exterminator but it hasn't stopped the fact that I keep seeing one occasionally. For paying $1500+, I'm disappointed and really expect to not see any cockroaches. I mean, even my apartment in New York didn't even have any cockroaches. The biggest complaint has to do with their garage. So my friend's car died when we were in the loading zone to move out some of my things and we went to the garage to see if we could borrow some of their tools to jump her car. I mean, borrowing something to jump her car and they said no. We can't let you borrow anything to help jump your car. Like excuse me, WTF? You can't let me borrow things to help jump my car? I didn't even ask if they could help. Just needed some jumper cables. But apparently nooo. What kind of garage doesn't let you borrow jumper cables? It still upsets me, writing this review how they straight up refused to help. read more

Positives: the door staff are wonderful and the unit itself is well insulated so it is quiet, the pool is lovely although guests are limited and the dog park is nice to have. Some buildings are very impersonal but the events and the personal touch that this staff gives to its residents is far and beyond exceptional. I've lived here for past one year. I love the building. It has all the amenities- outdoor deck with pool, cabanas, 24/7 door man, dry cleaning, package pick up. It also has a great view. two things that bothered me: 1. Sometimes it is noisy. It becomes difficult to work from home/ take official calls with construction going on near your apartment. 2. They are not at all flexible when it comes to pets .ie, they would charge a full price when you want to foster a pet for a week/ a guest comes up with a pet to visit your place. read more

The ONLY pro about this place is the location. When I moved into this apartment (unfortunately sight unseen due to COVID restrictions at the time), there was quite literally a pubic hair painted over in my shower, among other flagrant errors, such almost every drawer not having any tracks and being entirely unable to be used, someone else's hair clogging the shower, etc. The construction noise here is UNBEARABLE. I work from home and get no warning or solace to the intolerable construction noises basically every single day from 8 AM - 5 PM. It disrupts my meetings, my day-to-day life, and when I work night shifts, I have to sleep at a friend's house after coming home. Management could not care less about the tenants. read more

My fiance and I moved to 1130 S Michigan in March of 2017 and we can't imagine living anywhere else. The building staff is wonderful and helpful, management truly listens to the residents if there are any problems, and the amenities - they're as good as it gets. We originally moved into an older unit and, after about a year there, management reached out and offered to move us into a newly renovated unit, providing a hefty rent credit, and covering moving costs. This is just one example of how they serve their residents and offer amazing deals. We've lived in our new unit for almost a year it it's GORGEOUS. The view is incredible and I definitely enjoy having an in-unit washer & dryer. Long story short - I love it here and management makes us feel comfortable and appreciated. read more

RENTERS BEWARE!! Do NOT move here. Though the building does have some positives, such a great door staff, nice and accommodating maintenance staff and an unbeatable location, there are too many CONS to even name, but I'll try my best. - We moved in 1 year ago and were not told at the time we signed our lease that there would be construction on the building, specifically the units surrounding us. To our surprise, the apartments on both sides of us and directly above us, all were renovated, one after the other. We moved in when outside people were not allowed in the building, so as soon as that restriction was lifted in Chicago, the unbearable construction noise began. That lasted for 7 months, and when I attempted to talk to management about the noise levels and the lack of notification to tenants, I was sent a condescending email, in which is was explained to me that I simply don't understand the construction process or that living in a multi family building is loud. They actually tried to compare constant drilling and sledge hammering to normal day to day noise levels, despite the videos I have, dating March-October, demonstrating the intolerable noise. In addition to the noise burden, our dog also has suffered 2 ulcers in his eyes from the constant dust and debris in our hallway during construction. -Now that its time to resign our lease, they want to charge us a 15% increase!! That's crazy! We tried to negotiate, based on the fact that we have never missed a payment or been late, plus if we re-sign, our new move out date would be in May, a much more desirable date to move, therefore easier for them to find new tenants, vs January, which is when we will be moving out now. They would rather a unit go empty then negotiate with tenants to keep a unit occupied. The only answer I kept getting was that its a "computer algorithm" that they follow. Weird though, that there are units with out same view, more square footage and 10 floors higher, that are currently available for LESS then what they want us to pay. Don't worry, I was told we could more to that unit, we just have to pay a moving fee. HA that would be another $33!! They only care about money and could care less about their tenants. For a business that relies on people being happy where they live, their customer service could not be worse. Save yourself the time and stress and just keep looking. I wouldn't recommend this building to anyone. read more

The leasing team totally screwed me over when it was time to renew my lease and they increased the rent by $500/month, that's a 28% increase!! I expected a small increase but 28% is absurd and when I spoke with the leasing office to ask for a reduced increase to a more reasonable amount they gave me the BS answer about every unit being priced differently and a variety of factors affecting the rent. The thing that upset me the most is that a friend of mine that lives in the building in a similarly sized unit but on a much higher floor renewed their lease just a few weeks apart and their rent only went up by +$50! I know how much they were paying in rent and it was similarly priced to mine, so imagine my surprise when I found out my rent was increasing 10 times more than some other tenants!! There are so many people in the building who probably don't even realize they are getting screwed over. Reasons why the $500 rent increase isn't justified/why I can't recommend this apartment building: 1- I'm on a lower floor and don't have a great view compared to higher floors 2- I've been here 17 months and there is ALWAYS construction and loud noise going on. Something is always being fixed or renovated and being on a lower floor means you just have to deal with the noise. I can't possibly recommend this building for anyone who works remotely/from home. They also don't inform you when they are going to be renovating a unit around yours but you'll definitely know as soon as you start hearing the hammering and drilling at 8am. 3-Despite being a smoke-free building, there's very often a strong smell of marijuana and the worst part is that it comes in through the vents! I complained to the management office but they have no way of knowing what unit it's coming from because of the way the vents connect units across multiple floors. 4-I've seen literal trails of dog shit on the carpet by the elevators on my floor and a few blood stains. Honorable mention- They say the pool is "heated" but I very much doubt that. There's a pipe at the end of the pool where the water pours in from that never turns off and it's FREEZING. If you want great amenities and an actual heated pool, I recommend 1001 S State or NEMA across the street. read more

I've lived here for the passed 8 months. I absolutely love it. It really is luxury, and has all the amenities you can ask for... views, outdoor decks with pool, fire pit, cabanas, 24/7 door man, ATM, computers and free printing, apartment events, dry cleaning, package pick up, indoor parking and valet.... LOVE. Also, it is very dog friendly with a dog deck (no need to leave the building). Location is great -- near the L train, grant park, safe... everything you need is in a 2 block radius (or less!). Plus its an easy walk to the loop and magnificent mile. I've heard this area is known to have couples and not as many single people.... idk if I agree but just saying. I moved here from out of state for work. I had no idea where in Chicago to live so I looked up crime in the city. This area has the least amount of crime around. I feel safe to walk at night, even though I try to keep that at a minimum. I think the apartment is a good price for the city and amenities. My unit has a great layout and is actually larger than my last place. I'm looking forward to staying here for a long time. read more

I've been here for a year and recently renewed my lease and love calling this place home. Overall you get a great bang for your buck in terms of amenities and location. I work in the loop and walk daily but can easily jump on the L or Divy bike if needed. There is also a great design of the building with an off street drop off and pick up for Uber and Lyft which is great compared to some other places. The building location is excellent in terms of nearby grocery stores. You have Trader Joe's, 24 hour Jewel, Target, Whole Foods, and another Jewel a very short distance and also a Mariano's a few blocks south. Lots of great restaurants are within walking distance along with bars and hang out spots. The building itself is older but units are very open and updated. We love the finishes of ours and honestly when looking at other places feel this is a steal for what you get. The pool deck is awesome and we grill weekly. The maintenance staff cleans the pool and grill area daily and do a great job overall on any issues/upkeep. Overall the building is well taken care of and quick response if anything is needed. Rent escalations are normal but nothing overly high or outrageous. The staff is always great to work with and even when we lost our keys and was having a terrible day the staff was super accommodating and was quick to help. Thank you 1130 staff and D&K for making this such a great spot to live! read more

My wife and I have lived here for the past 3 years and we love this building. When we moved we were increasing our cost of rent significantly which made us a little nervous; however after a few months in our home we realized that everything the building and neighborhood offered made up for the extra cost. The building: First, the staff are amazing. The front desk team is second to none; the maintenance staff is quick, efficient, and works harder than anyone I've ever seen; and the management and leasing office know their stuff and run a great business. The building also hosts more events than you could imagine from cocktail mixers to summer luau parties to holiday parties and even events for all the dog owners. There's also a large common area with billiards and shuffleboard, conference center, wine lockers, dog deck, sun deck with pool and grills, and a gym. The people: We've met some really great people in our building especially because we own a dog. In the last year the dog owners have really banded together and formed a welcoming and inviting sub-community within the building. Regardless of if someone owns a dog or not, most of the time you're met with a smile and pleasant conversation when you run into someone outside your unit. The neighborhood: I lived in the South Loop about 13 years ago and holy crap has the neighborhood changed for the better. You have Trader Joe's across the alley and Jewel across the street (however I'd avoid the Jewel if possible). Within a mile you've also got a Whole Foods and Mariano's. Plus there are bars, restaurants, Grant Park across the street, and the lake front a few blocks away. There is always something going on in the area and, while that can sometimes be a pain, usually the neighborhood has this electric/exciting vibe like anything can happen. Of course nothing is perfect and there are definitely a few things I would change or improve but the positives vastly out weigh the negatives. I've lived in this building for 2 years. Pros: Location - so close to Roosevelt stop, very close to grocery stores and across the street from grant park and easy distance from the lake. Amenities - for the price the amenities are good and similar to other buildings in that price range- pool, gym, party room, business center. But the catch is this is a large building so you share these resources with nearly ~670 other units. Price - really competitive prices at the start. Maintenance staff and front door staff - both very responsive, helpful, excellent and friendly. Cons: Noise: The building is under renovation and I hear construction noise ALL THE TIME, it's LOUD, and it can start at 7am. Depending on the day it sounds like you're in the epicenter of a construction site and I've had to stay somewhere else on multiple occasions in order to sleep or work. Management: the customer service from management could definitely be improved, you're treated like just another number, and my requests are sometimes just ignored with no response. Cleanliness: I've seen 3 giant cockroaches since living here, once in the common hallway, and twice in my apartment. I keep by apartment very clean so I troubled by this. Management usually sends exterminators out to spray but it's still disturbing. Price: they're price gauging me and it should be illegal. They're banking on the fact that for me and most people it's difficult to move so I may opt to put up with it. In the 2 years I've been here my rent has INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY by 16%, not including the utilities fee which also went up when they unbundled our services. When I asked management about this, they told me there's nothing they can do, and that it's legal to skyrocket rent off your last rate. So renters BEWARE!! read more

My husband and I moved here a few months ago and absolutely love it. The location is amazing- it's like a 3-5 minute walk to all of the museums and the lake. The building is always so clean, and any repair request we've put in (online- super convenient) has been dealt with almost immediately. The front desk staff, namely D, is so awesome and helpful. The parking garage staff are awesome too. I was worried about the valet and if I'd have to wait for my car when I needed it but nope- they're on it. We also got a puppy since we moved in and the little dog park area is super convenient. As it's just starting to get nice, we've only been out by the pool a few times but love it so far. I have lived here for over two years and, if I would have known what I know now about the HVAC system, I would have never moved. As I am typing this, it is currently 84 degrees in my unit. Because of the 2-pipe system, the heating has to remain on based on dates and not the temperature outside, which is quite unfortunate living in Chicago where the weather can fluctuate. During the summer to fall transition, a few times during the winter season due to excessive building heat in the hallways seeping through my door, and now the winter to spring transition, there is no AC when it is 60 degrees or higher outside, so residents suffer. I have windows open, blackout blinds down until the point where the windows are cracked to prevent the sun from coming in, two area fans on high, and room doors open for circulation, and it is still 80+ all day/night. I have spoken to at least 12 other residents on different floors and they complained of the same, although everyone does not always report to management. This is a true dealbreaker and is unfortunate, so thankfully I found a building with the 4-pipe system to move into once my lease is up. Otherwise, the building isn't that terrible. read more

The most important thing is the location, walk 1 minute to trader joe's, jewel osco, gas station, drive 2 minutes to whole foods, banks, cvs, a huge liquid store... HOWEVER, there is ONE LEAING AGENT destroyed all the good impressions!!! She is definitely the worst and the only agent who HATES the customers!!! Trust me!!! She keeps telling you nothing's available at first, and then tell you all the unites with higher prices even they have something cheaper and much nicer!!!! She doesn't reply email EVER, even she knows you are in a hurry to move!!! I can't believe DK living hired this woman to be their leasing agent, who seems like not be trained at all. Although a little pricey considering the lack of kitchen upgrades (my oven and countertops were circa 1975 and the cabinets were painted sheet metal) overall I LOVED living here. I have seen some negative reviews elsewhere and disagree with most comments. Because of the South Loop location and Michigan Avenue address they can charge the rent. Doormen (most) were friendly and helpful. Management staff was satisfactory - leasing staff can be a little abrupt but it's a business not a sorority people! You live there - they work there, do the math! The only thing that irritated me was they closed the general store shortly after I moved in and removed the movie rental machine. I think when a building removes advertised amenities they should provide a lease concession. Having a store and option to rent movies in a building in dead winter in Chicago is DEFINITELY something people look for when choosing a building. I may have chosen a different building had I known the store was going away. Other than that, repair were done quickly, moving in and out was a breeze and I miss Darrell the doorman! Apartments were big for downtown Chicago. No noise between floors and other tenants were quiet and friendly. I would move back! read more

But its really unfortunate the way the management treats you..somebody said 'They work here, you live here'..But hell I am not living for free...I am paying their over priced rents and on time for 20 months now.. And the way these guys treat the pest problem is ridiculous..Pests are pests. And they now have a new manager ..The tall guy who was very nice is gone. And this new lady thinks we are in marine...... I went to an apartment viewing here with a good friend of mine. He is more on the reserved side, so I'm writing this review for him. When we arrived and pulled into the building's parking garage, the parking attendant's attitude was appalling. Sergey was such a disgruntle, mean, rude, and highly disrespectful person. He ruined any chance of my friend moving here even before seeing the apartment. Sergey should be fired for being combative and argumentative just because he can get away with it. Most buildings have reserved future resident parking spaces, so my friend informed him that we were just here to meet with the leasing office, to save him from having to park our car far away. Actually, we were trying to be considerate of him. However, Sergey angrily yelled at us where to park and snapped 'I'm just telling you' when I said we're just asking. I called to report the incident to the parking lot manager, Roland Ajanaku and he never returned my voicemail call. Further confirming that the parking attendant knew his crass demeanor would be tolerated. Such a bad first impression to make on a potential future resident. So I lived here for a bit over 2 years and will echo what others have said about door staff and maintenance personnel - excellent. The building is kept fairly clean, though I can also attest to bathing in the brown water from the old pipes on a daily basis. Here is my issue - when I moved out, my carpet needed to be replaced; I am not disputing this. I had a small dog, and well, ish happens. (Though, what was my pet deposit for?) My problem is that I never received a bill from Draper & Kramer. Apparently they did have my correct address, though. I know this because the debt collection agency they unleashed on me had the correct address that was provided to them by Draper & Kramer. As a 25 year old working toward good credit (never paid a bill late in my life!), this was very disappointing and upsetting. Instead of contacting me regarding my debt (after 25 months of good tenancy), they sent someone for me, dinged my credit, and left me generally feeling stressed by a situation that I was more than happy to resolve without the aid of a third party. I felt treated like a criminal, and it was entirely unnecessary. Why move into a place like this knowing that you will not likely be given the respect you deserve as a good tenant? Go somewhere else. Oh, and they'll charge you $50 a pop when you get locked out of your unit. (The heavy doors that lock automatically if the inside lock gets slightly twisted make this much more likely!) read more

I've only been living here for a few months, but I'm very happy about my decision. I moved away from home, so I was nervous about feeling homesick, but I feel very at home in this building. It's clean, the employees are great, and it has great amenities. Red/green/orange lines are a few steps away, and I'm able to walk to school, with work only being a couple stops away. There's a 24 hr Jewel on the corner, late night pizza places just a couple minutes away, and the lake is also very close. I would recommend this building to no one! Because of the location I feel that they can demand the price I paid. The parking was a bit high and during the Bears games forgetting getting your car. The valets are more concerned with making tips. I literally had to go down one day and move other residents cars to get mine out so I could go to the airport. They were leaving keys in all the cars at one point in time I don't know if they still do. Mindy is the manager of the leasing office and she is an evil witch. Emily must have the patience of a saint to deal with her for as long as she has. Emily is the only saving grace to the leasing office. Never deal with the leasing office without it being in writing. They say one thing then put something different in writing. I also agree with the individual about the dogs. They say they are dog friendly but they really are not. I am not rude but I often just forced myself on the elevator with the scared people. They have 4 elevators often the dogs were limited to ones because of people moving. The dog deck was NASTY and felt more like a maintenance storage yard. I only used it as a last resort if I was running late or it was late at night. Daper and Krammer have been nothing but a pain. I literally had to call their managemnet office and talk to the VP at one point in time to get some things resolved because the building could not get it done. The pro is the some door staff was nice and the dry cleaners in the building were reasonable and super nice! read more

I moved to 1130 S. Michigan Ave in December which has been 6 months. I have lived in 2 other condos in the area, and have to say it has been the best experience. My condo is large for a 1 bedroom. The doormen are the best. Maintenance also responds so quickly. I love that I can take the bus to work which is right in front of the property. TraderJoes and Grant park are right there. read more

I've lived here for 1 year. Apartment is reasonably priced for the location- conveniently located next to Roosevelt station, Trader Joes, a gas station etc. The pool and gym amenities are a plus. Maintenance staff is prompt. Would recommend! read more

Since first coming to Chicago from the western suburbs in 1982, I've lived in several signature neighborhoods, among them Chatham, Near North/Streeterville, South Shore, Beverly and finally, the South Loop. 1130 S. Michigan is by far the best managed property, and the best all-around value for the money that I've encountered throughout my years in the city. I have lived here for eight years now, and can speak authoritatively on this because I have much to compare it to. The building is attractive, secure, quiet (mostly, except for some of the transient collegiate tenants), the staff is highly proficient and personable, maintenance requests are responded to within minutes, the amenities, activities and events are first-rate and consistently being upgraded and the location simply is without peer. If you're going to rent, the 1130 building is money well-spent. read more

My husband and I are really happy to be in an apartment building after years of living in a condo. Everything is taken care of for you here! Our maintenance requests have been responded to promptly (within 24 hours), the doormen are wonderful and very helpful, and management is good about leaving letters under your door if anything will be going on that might affect you (like construction on a nearby unit). Our personal unit has been quiet, the walls are pretty thick here. The only time I've heard noise from another unit is faint sounds from the vent in the bathroom. We also like the updated windows, it was nice and warm throughout our unit even during the coldest days of winter, and we still got to enjoy nice views from the large windows. The location is great too-- we sold our car when we moved to Chicago and haven't missed it a bit, since the building is convenient to our jobs in the loop as well as grocery stores and other amenities. Not needing to pay for a car has helped offset the cost of living in a big city. read more

Moved in in August from Florida and this building is in such a perfect spot. It's 1 block from the L, along many bus routes, across the alley from a Trader Joes, and across the street from a Jewel Osco. Also, grant park is across the street and is so wonderful to walk through and makes for a quiet (noise wise) area. There are tons of restaurants nearby and so many delivery companies deliver here. As for the building itself, the units are gorgeous and wonderfully updated. You get so much square footage for the price as compared to other apartment buildings in the south loop. The gym is wonderful and my fiancé and I love using the grill and pool area. My experience with maintenance has always been wonderful and they are very quick to fix any service requests. I do the regular monthly parking (as opposed to valet) and despite having quite a few problems with a few different parking spots, the property manager was excellent at coming up with a solution and quickly getting us the perfect parking spot that our car actually fit into! Any problem we have ever had, has been rectified almost immediately. I would highly recommend moving to this building, especially for someone new to the city due to the great location, wonderful amenities, and beautifully updated units. We have renewed our least for another 12 months and plan to stay here until we decide to purchase a home. read more

My boyfriend and I have lived at Eleven Thirty for the last two years. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place! For a high rise, the management really goes above and beyond to cultivate a family and friendly community. There are weekly events, monthly flyers, discounts to the local restaurants and amazing amenities. Gym, studio, pool, dog spa, conference office and more! It's perfect. The maintenance crew and front desk are friendly and professional, making this place feel even more like home! Not to mention, Grant Park is directly across the street, and there are two grocery stores on the same block. (Trader Joes is a 1 min walk down the alley, and Jewel is about a 5-minute walk down the street) The Red Line train is a 5-minute walk and many of the main buses go up and down Michigan Ave. It just doesn't get better than this. read more
