I lived here for almost 4 years and enjoyed it. The management and maintenance staff were amazing! The front desk people were either a hit or miss but were nice. The apartments were pretty sound proof. I didn't hear my neighbors much. The place was kept clean. The package room was organized well. The dog run smells...but what can you expect from a place where dogs pee/poo? They try their best to keep it clean though. The sprinkler system goes off every few hours to help with that. There's a schedule of it outside of the door. I just take my dog outside anyway. Parking was expensive and is managed by LAZ parking. The gate can be a challenge but since they upgraded.. it's been a lot better! Never had any problems getting a parking spot though. One star was docked because the middle elevator rarely worked. Otherwise.. I enjoyed living here with the big windows and easy access to grant park and local shops. The quality of the apartment was good! I enjoyed my time at BP. Perfect location and super close to the all the major lines! The units were spacious and I loved the natural sunlight. Maintenance was quick and on top of it and the office staff was friendly as well. Loved people watching outside my balcony during the summer months and watching the snow fall during the winter. Also we are right next to the Dearborn clock tower and Dearborn street with all the nice little shops, restaurants, and bookstore. We've actually had a really easy time with the management company. I read some of the other reviews, and it could be because we moved in late 2020 that a lot of the former kinks are fixed? Haven't had any issues with packages being stolen or lost, and the people at the front desk are really nice. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

We finally moved after being told to leave because we complained too much about lost packages. And now this week, with no move-out walk-thru, they sent us a random invoice for damages to the blinds. No back-up photo, no evidence, nothing. I was warned about this from other residents who moved out of Burnham. They were sent random invoices after they moved out with no final walk-thru. Draper & Kramer is an awful, awful company. Too many options in the South Loop. Pass this place and look at others. It's beautiful, but don't be fooled. The management staff is AWFUL. read more

I've lived here for 4 years and until recently have enjoyed my time here. I love the location and my unit. Unfortunately, since Draper & Kramer have started managing this building, it's one ridiculously disruptive event after another. This new management team simply does not get that people live here... and they don't seem to want to get it. My 3 big issue with how they operate is: 1) They don't understand how much notice they should give people before they start DEMANDING things (A week seems to be the magic number for them). They'll spring things on the residence (regardless of how disruptive it is) with an absolute minimum amount of time & zero consideration that people could be out of town. 2) They stopped communicating with residence by slipping notices under their doors & have only been using email to communicate with residence. Not everyone reads their email daily... Including myself. This mixed with the fact they give tenants such short notice of their plans... mean things become an issue for tenants fast 3) They apparently don't get that an insincere apology, lip service, or excuses are not a substitute for legitimate customer service Some of the things that have gone on here are: * Renovations of gym, business center and party room have taken 6 months to complete * 2 of 3 elevators were out of service for a 28 floor building for a month * Almost the entire building maintenance & door staff quit at the same time. With a high turnover rate of the building staff since then * They changed how they accept and distribute packages for residence & informed us if packages aren't picked up in 48 hours they'd be returned. Unfortunately not all packages are being checked in & some of the new door staff have had to be CONVINCED a package was delivered before they'll search for it. * They announced 3 out of 5 levels of the garage would be power washed on the same day with only 1 week notice... and attempted to force people who pay for parking to magically squeeze 5 levels of cars into 2... They threatened everyone that they'd tow any car that wasn't moved off those levels.... At the owner's expense & they weren't responsible for any damage! I was out of town when the 1st notice was sent & returned the day before the power washing was starting. By the time I saw the notice there were no spots left (Appx 25+ cars couldn't find spots) & I literally had 12 hours to figure out what to do with a $75k vehicle so it wouldn't get towed * The NEVER ENDING balcony resurfacing project. They sent out an email with only 5 days notice saying they're repairing cracks on the balconies. Starting with the corner units I live in. I missed the initial email because I didn't realized that's how they were communicating with residence at the time. They initially said our balconies would be unavailable for 3 weeks & we were required to pull everything off their balconies. They expected everyone to store patio furniture (Including grills) in their apartments. Rent here isn't cheap & the fact they didn't seem to give any thought to how disruptive this would be to tenants pissed me off. What made it worst was their attitude that it's just a minor & trivial issue and saying "Sorry for the inconvenience" would shut people up and make them go away. I'll admit I lost my cool over this and to calm me down they did offer to store my things... Which I was ready to do. Till I was told they wouldn't be responsible for any damage to my things while they stored it ("They aren't responsible for any damage" is one of their favorite phrases). With all the construction workers wandering around the building I decided to decline to insure my things weren't damaged. Their initial 3 week project turned out to be close to 5 WEEKS! But that wasn't the end of it & they've had us pull our things off our balconies 2 more times to fix shoddy workmanship. The last time they had us do this is why I'm posting. We received an email on Friday saying we had till Monday morning (3 days) to pull everything off again. I pulled everything into my unit but the work didn't start Monday. I talked to the workers on the scaffolding Tuesday & everyone must not have seen the email with such short notice (or available to read it) & they didn't pull their things into their unit. So the start of the work was delayed with no notice and when they sent out a 2nd notice about it... they made a point to say they weren't responsible for any damage to anyone's property when they start the work the next day. Which I took as a threat to motivate people. My rent w/parking & utilities is over $3,200 & I'm pretty pissed I have to worry about my car getting towed & denied use my balcony for months & navigating around patio furniture & grills & worried if leave town my property might be damaged. As far as I'm concerned... Burnham Pointe has become a stressful place to live with one anxiety causing event after another. read more

We miss our old management company! The new one is terrible. Recently bought by Draper and Kramer, within a month announced they were getting rid of the pool, hot tub and sauna "because they don't see anyone use it" First of all, you bought the building in the fall so if you were watching the activity in the summer, that was silly because it's an indoor pool and hot tub! We used it all the time in the winter and so did a bunch of people. Also, you guys are in the building from 9-5pm. That's also when we work. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna in the evenings. Next, we were told that Airbnb is not allowed. Now, they started Airbnb'ing empty units (because they are losing money from unnecessary construction and high vacancy numbers by upsetting tenants). I spoke to a fellow resident on a different floor who had to call the cops because Airbnb'ers were doing drugs and partying on a Monday! Unacceptable. These are our homes. I could go on and on about minor poorly managed situations but the most important reason to not move in to this building is THE ELEVATORS ARE ALWAYS BROKEN. There are 3 elevators in the building and one is sometimes reserved and blocked off for moving and taking out the garbage. There is always one broken, most recently there have been weeks where we only had one elevator working. Next, they scheduled the garbage runs at rush hour times! Why in the world would you reserve an elevator to clear out the recycle rooms at 8am and 5-6pm!? That's when people are trying to come and go. Lastly, Diana (one of the desk attendants) is so rude to select residents, it needs to stop. They want the same amount of rent for an older building with no amenities? Go outside and look in any direction and you'll find a newer high rise, same price and way better amenities. read more

Worst place I've ever lived at in my life. Although Burnham Pointe used to be a great apartment building, Draper & Kramer has phenomenally (mis)managed this property. For example: * The entire building had a broken elevator for well over a month (since one elevator is the "service" elevator, this meant that the entire building often only had one working elevator).  * Have you read Lord of the Flies? Imagine that with packages. Packages are often lost, and I had a package actually returned to the sender after USPS marked the building as "vacant." * The building has virtually eliminated all amenities "temporarily" (read: for the last 3 or so months). The workout center is barely larger than a closet, the business center doesn't have working printers or computers with internet, the outdoor area is roped off, etc. I really could go on. This place is scary (and not like a good scary movie -- it's actually scary). Also -- has anyone noticed how the building has four 5 star reviews -- all of which were given over an 11 day period? If you're going to buy reviews, at least don't make it obvious. read more

Me and my girlfriend have been looking to move in together and we had been eyeing a few spots in Chicago for awhile. We did a few "in person" tours and were searching for something that just felt like "home" and nothing was giving us that feeling...until we found out about Burnham Pointe apartments. Ironically the apartment we ended up buying was one of the places we browsed over Facebook but didn't think of to visit because we really weren't familiar with downtown. It ended up being the absolute perfect match for us. Hardwood floors, in unit washer drier, reasonable parking prices, amazing views, very open and spacious floor plans, extremely easy access to the main highways, and of course we are surrounded by anything and everything that is Chicago! Everything is walking distance in the city but I feel like Burnham pointe is at the absolute best location for not only walking distance to essential businesses but also perfectly located as far as our commute to work. The move in was very simple, they have a very large loading garage where you can park your moving truck, the staff inside the building are all so welcoming and friendly. From the doorman, to the leasing agents, to the maintenance crew, everybody has a smile on their face here and treats their residents like family. I felt like our leasing agent, Chris L, and I formed an immediate connection when it came down to my girlfriend and I's needs and what we were looking for in a place. After gathering information from us, Chris showed us what he thought would be a perfect fit for all of our needs and the second we stepped into our soon to be "home" we fell in love! After we viewed the apartment both me and my girlfriend couldn't stop talking about it so we made the call and not even a week later we signed the lease to our new home and we LOVE IT. The building is dog friendly and it's always great to see everyone's dogs while going in and out of the building, my favorite part of going to work in the morning is getting to see other residents taking their dogs to the dog park which is located within the building, or just passing by on my way out. It always puts me in the best mood seeing all the cute pups! This building has it all, heated parking garage, in unit washer dryer, huge outdoor patio with large grills for friends/family gatherings, amazing views of the city, easy access and high security package delivery room (never have to worry about packages getting lost) and so much more. We moved in on a tight timeline and we are so glad we chose this place after only online viewings from out of state. The front desk staff is so fun and helpful, and the maintenance team has been super communicative and reliable. The building common areas are always clean. Plus there are always cute dogs to be found in the lobby and elevators. The location is amazing and the convenience of package delivery, garage parking, and all the amenities can't be beat. The amount of light and space in our apartment, plus our balcony, have been lifesavers in quarantine. Highly recommend! read more

I've lived here since October 2020 and it's been a great experience, even despite the pandemic. Angelica and Chris in the leasing office are wonderful. Any questions I've had for maintenance have been resolved in a timely manner. The layouts for the apartments are all EXTREMELY spacious for downtown Chicago, and they all have balconies! The amenities are lovely, well used, but never too crowded, and kept extremely nice and clean. I signed an 18 month lease when I originally moved in and can easily see myself staying here for another year or 2 after that. Location is great too - all public transit is close, street parking always available, farmers market close by in the summer, and plenty of restaurants and bars. read more

Beautiful building, wonderful staff, what more could I ask for! The concierge takes care of tenants wonderfully! I had an issue with my balcony door my first night here and the management office didn't blink an eye. Maintenance was here to fix the issue and all is well. Moved into the south loop 5 years ago and picked this place as my home of residence. It's been an excellent experience thus far. The maintenance staff fixes everything almost instantly with just a work order you submit online, the business center, indoor Pool and gym are a big convenience especially if you don't want to make the trek outside. I've rented out the club room many times to host parties and have had guests stay in the guest suites. Management is always accommodating and just a phone call away. Overall this place is amazing to live at. Printers row is still booming and we are in the center within walking distances to all the local bars and restaurants and just a couple blocks from grant park. Would highly recommend for professionals who work in the city. read more

LIVE ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Draper & Kramer has ruined this entire building. Our elevators are continuously broken. One is even reserved for the vast amounts of unnecessary construction they are doing. They removed our gym, pool, hot tub, sauna, and outdoor space without offering rent compensation. I signed my lease wanting to use all of those amenities and now I cannot. They're offering "temporary" amenities which include treadmills RIGHT NEXT TO DUMPSTERS. Oh, and everyone's electric bill has gone up because they're passing the construction costs of the electricity onto the residents. When called, they dodge the questions without giving answers. Further, the construction noise is loud and consistent every day for weeks at this point (continuing for months apparently!). The noise is debilitating, and they just tell us to get over it. They do not care about their residents. This construction was entirely unnecessary. Further, they've messed up our billing on multiple occasions, and blame us for pointing out the errors. I regret signing my lease here. I actively have warned other potential tenants that this place is a disaster. read more

This used to be a beautiful building to live in UNTIL, the management company changed several months ago. Draper and Kramer has made this an AWFUL place to live. First, they took away the amenities - pool, gym, etc., but of course we still have to pay full rent. Then, they turned the building into a construction site. The construction starts at 8 am and continues until 6 pm - throughout the building. If you're home during the day, or sleep in in the mornings, living here is HELL!!! Management is dishonest about the extent of construction. You call about the noise. They say it will just be a few days, but then they start another renovation project that they didn't tell you about. I had to pull the construction permits from the city to realize that the construction will be ongoing for a full YEAR!! And that's assuming they don't pull more permits for more work. If you ask to get out of your lease because the noise is so disturbing, they say you can sublet your apartment. Hey, anybody out there want to sublet my apartment, because it is too noisy for me to stay - I'm sure you wouldn't mind, right? Maybe next year the building might be a nice place to live, but for now, it's non-stop construction. UPDATE: You gotta love how management posts (see below) and says they're so sorry and feel free to reach out to them! Management continues to disregard the comfort and legal rights of its residents. Draper & Kramer has just informed residents that they will be commencing an unduly burdensome and unnecessary masonry balcony project. During this period, Burnham Pointe will be accessing balconies without resident permission and prohibiting residents from accessing their balconies for up to two weeks. Significant noise is guaranteed to result from yet another large construction project over the coming 3-4 months on the upper units. Draper & Kramer has already shown that they have no qualms beginning construction at early hours, or depriving residents of access to leased premises for an extended period without adequate compensation. In addition, Draper & Kramer has obtained a 1 year scaffolding permit, which implies that they plan to continue these "renovations" for the entire building past the alleged 3-4 months. If you're trying to find an apartment in South Loop, look anywhere else. read more

Honestly, this was a good building,but now is not the time to rent. I bet it will be ok in a year or two (if they keep their rent down). The construction noises are enough of a reason to not rent here. But also, they used to have a pool and hot tub and sauna and nice workout room. It's under construction now but the new plans look to be taking away a lot of the advantages. It's also an older building for the neighborhood. Compare it to the newer places right around it (with better amenities and similar rent) before you choose here. read more

I lived at Burnham Pointe from May 2019 - December 2019 and moved for reasons unrelated to the building or my unit. While there were a lot of maintenance needs in the beginning, all were for minor needs, and were also responded to in a timely fashion. I had a great experience with the building management. They were very responsive and put forth significant effort to build a community by creating and hosting events throughout the year. The front desk seemed to have turnover while I was there, but the staff was always very friendly and available to answer any questions. The name notices were also great. I would absolutely recommend living here! read more

These reviews are very misleading. I wouldn't recommend this place if you have a dog or if you're afraid of dogs. I moved here in December 2018 because i felt it was good enough for the price. However, they conveniently neglected to show me the dog area (it's gross! My dog won't use the bathroom there). They also neglected to tell me about the special dog entrance. They want dog owners to walk around the building. You have to use your key multiple times just to get in and out. It's extremely annoying and inconvenient. I had a dog walker come and she walked out the front. The building rudely threatened to fine her if she walks out the front again. She was really frazzled. Pros: Great location Nice concierge staff Great views Quiet Spacious Cons: Over priced Shares utilities with the building (last bill was over $112 and I was out of town all month. Still had to pay in addition to comed bill and my internet bill. Other building in the area have a utility package that include internet, cable, trash, water, electricity and caps it (usually capped at $90) You'll save more that way. When I was moving in, the leasing agent was very misleading about these costs. Outdated appliances compared to the other high rises in the area also tough to clean Elevators have been out since March! Why does it take so long to fix? Extreme delays in such a large building They started construction in the common areas in feb/March 2019 and won't be done until late/after summer. We lose our summer and lost use of the amenities. No gym, no sauna, grilling area, community space and restricted business area. Would be nice to get a credit or some kind of discount for the inconvenience. If you're dying to move to this building, I would wait until after summer to get some value from your dollar. Really unfortunate for the current residents. If I could give Burnham Pointe zero stars I would. When I moved in November 2020 things were great I had no issues. Maybe about a month in, there was constantly the smell of weed throughout my apartment. I reached out to management and was told to reach out to the front desk. For months I continuously reached out and the last time I did I was told I should cover my vents. I also referred a friend to move into the complex in December of 2020 and was not given the $500 referral credit. The pandemic was at its height throughout my stay and they "required" all residents to wear masks. Every time I went to the gym no one was wearing a mask and when it was reported to management nothing was done. Another time I was in the gym another resident hit me with a mat I reported it again nothing was done about it and I was told it's not my business how they handle resident disputes. On three occasions a resident had her dog off her leash and the dog approached me & jumped on me I don't mind dogs but strange dogs I don't know I'd prefer they not touch me. I again told management and Taylor told me there was nothing they could do about it if I can't give her the dates it happened and I told her which resident it was still nothing was done. When my dog was 4 months I was threaten with a fine or eviction if he peed in front of the building. I was told to buy him diapers or drag him to the corner to prevent him peeing. Which for a 4 month old puppy it's hard to hold their bladder when they're taught to potty outside. Since I'm a black resident I was threatened with a fine but the white resident nothing happened when it clearly states in their pet policy dogs should be leashed at all times. To be clear I am accusing them of racism. A month before I moved out I had an altercation with a door dash delivery person who decided to curse me out because he was afraid of my dog. Again management did nothing but told me to stop talking to him I won't lie they also got cursed out because if I live and pay rent on time at a place why weren't they more concerned with protecting the resident? The front desk staff will allow anyone to access your apartment and will call after the person is already at your door. That is not safe. Since I moved in in November 2020 and the time I moved out in April 2022 the entire maintenance staff has changed the concierge staff has changed and clearly the issue is the management team (except Angelica she's great). Due to the changes the building is disgusting and ALWAYS DIRTY. There's been 3 or 4 different people in their 4th leasing staff position. The only good thing about this place is the location and a few of the amenities. I would highly not recommend moving into this building until there are serious changes with management team. read more

Relocated from the east coast three months ago for a job and toured 14 different properties around the city before my husband and I selected Burnham Pointe. What attracted us? The square footage for one! And the amazing views visible from our floor to ceiling windows all throughout the apartment. The management staff, front door staff, and maintenance folks are all friendly, thoughtful and caring. Finally, the Printers Row neighborhood is really provides a sense of community. Found these apartments completely by chance, but so happy we did! Nothing else met our criteria, but Burnham Pointe has it all. Beautiful units furnished with high quality finishings, great storage, new appliances, floor to ceiling windows, hardwoods, and views of both the lake and the city skyline. On site parking, recycling and trash on every floor, dog run, fully stocked gym with machines & free weights, comfortable common areas, package receiving, a timely & thorough maintenance team, and some of the friendliest, most helpful concierge we've found. We felt welcome from the beginning, and with the help of Suzy in the leasing office, we found our dream apartment. She has an incredible knowledge of the building and a passion for finding her renters exactly what they need without the usual pressure of inquiring about a unit. She wasn't kidding when she said we'd love living here -- it's been 6 months and we couldn't be happier. We can honestly say that Burnham Pointe delivers on their promises and values their tenants long after the lease has been signed -- something you don't find very often anymore. read more

If you're considering living here, DON'T LIVE HERE. I waited a while to write this review, because I wanted to give the new management company, Draper and Kramer, extra time to try to set up the building in an acceptable way. I can see the good reviews here are likely either 1) from people who moved here after the new company took over, so they don't know how much better it was, or 2) building management company staff who panic-reviewed the place to increase its overall rating. We've lived in the building for almost 4 years at this point, and the high-ish rent we pay here has always been worth it until 2019. Friendly staff, well-managed package room, prompt maintenance, reliable front desk security, and great amenities. The new management, Draper and Kramer (it switched from Crescent Heights) is WOEFULLY inept. They had a grand opening in January 2019 with plans and blown-up mockups of revamped, modern amenities, which were supposed to be ready in March 2019, as stated by numerous employees at said opening. Upon re-signing the lease in January, we were under the assumption that they would be ready then, and the hike in rent for 2019 was worth it because we'd still get 9 good months of being able to use them. But, true to the company's mismanagement, the amenities weren't ready until August 2019. That's half of the year without any access to real amenities (a dinky temporary "gym" with basically 4 treadmills is not enough), while they still increased the rent in January. The terrace, which looks NOTHING like the photos from the mockups at the party in January, is now only open until midnight. The stone ovens they boasted of in the promos have to be rented and they charge $20/hour for their use. There is also a requirement now that all the dogs have to wear Burnham Pointe tags. These are unnecessary restrictions-- we are all in positions in life now where we can afford to live here, so you should assume if we've been able to manage our finances this well, we will also be able to manage using the terrace and managing our pets in a responsible way. Also, having full and proper access to amenities like the terrace, not having to tag our dogs, not worrying if our packages will be missing from an impersonal and overworked staff, is part of what makes a community, and things you should expect (especially when some of it was promised to us!) when you're paying what we pay in this area. They got rid of a sauna, pool, and whirlpool to replace it with a giant gym (with pretty much all the same old equipment, just spaced out compared to before). There are many people I've talked to in the building who have joint problems and chronic illnesses who relied on the pool for exercise and physical therapy, which they paid for when moving in. The elevator-- oh god. You press one floor and someone else who gets on presses another floor, and the one you pressed isn't lit up before. And it's been this way. For. six. months. The dry cleaners who handled the packages left, so the front desk is responsible for managing packages and "security." "Mysteriously," most of the pre-2019 building staff left during the transition. Now I see that they likely saw the direction in which this building was going. So the new front desk staff is much ruder (again, if you didn't leave here before, you wouldn't know how much more congenial it was) and frequently huff and puff before they have to get packages for you. They also miss packages when looking for yours and claim they aren't there, and I've had to ask them several times before they'll go check again (and it'll be sitting on the shelf next to where my other packages were). I suspect they're overworked because they're now doing both security and packages, so I try to be understanding with them. When asked, they say they don't know when they'll be able focus completely on security, but lockers for packages (which many of us didn't know about) will replace the package room. In other words, we will, at some point that has been communicated to none of the overworked staff doing both these jobs, be responsible for our own package management, even though we are paying high rent in an area where every other building manages residents' packages. They do promotions in the foyer and common spaces to distract from all these shortcomings. They try to frame these events held by external vendors as services/treats for residents, but one can only assume the vendors pay Draper and Kramer to be able to market here. They seem to view us primarily as cash cows. It's yet another instance where they prioritize small amounts of money over the comfort of residents who pay a lot of money to live here. In short, Draper and Kramer, don't pee on us and tell us it's raining. We're all accomplished enough to live here so we (who have seen these changes) know how much better it could be, and this ain't it. There are plenty of other buildings where your money goes so much farther. read more

However, I will miss the monthly newsletter where they always have new rules and inconveniences to burden the residents with. I feel like the rude new property management company wants you to feel privileged to be living in their building. I do not feel comfortable and at home with this new team. Some of the team they held onto from the old PM team are great though. I will never live under a Draper and Kramer owned building again and be sure to make sure my friends and family do not as well. I loved living here. The community offers various floors plans including a one bedroom with 1.5 baths. It is in a great location in the expanding south loop and within walking distance to everything you could need. The apartments are large with lots of storage and great views. It's a quiet building with no noise that travels through the walls or ceilings. Also Caitlin in the leasing office is great to work with! I would highly recommend Burnham Pointe. The only reason I left was because I waS relocated for work. read more

DO NOT AIRBNB OR RENT HERE!!! Literally the worst property management ever. Lindsey is the property manager. Aside from how rude she is, she has no idea what is actually going on in the building, even the front desk staff complains about her to us, the residents. They have lost two packages of mine and refused to assist. Lindsey said Amazon probably lost it or didn't deliver them even though the app said they were delivered... the next week, somehow they turned up. The week after that, when I picked up a package, the door staff gave me a different tenants package that was clearly marked with their unit and name. Packages go missing because the building is poorly managed and not staffed properly. When residents started complaining about their missing packages (this was not just a one time thing) she sent out an email saying that having packages delivered is a privilege and not a right and we should have our packages delivered elsewhere! There's only 1 elevator that works consistently and all our amenities that we pay for have been gone since January (we were originally told construction would be done in June, but it keeps getting pushed back). This building used to be awesome but ever since Draper and Kramer took over, all the existing residents feel like they are trying to get rid of us or don't care when we give feedback because the response is that they are waiting for us to cycle out and get new residents who aren't part of this transformation. So many other new buildings in this area. It's an amazing location, we LOVE Printers Row and we love our neighbors, but do not move in to Burnham Point. read more

I really love living here (I've been here for 5 months). My apartment is lovely, with lots of space (larger than average 1 bedroom), lots of electric outlets, super fast internet, and I adore my giant windows. The soundproofing is excellent. I have never heard my neighbors through the walls nor the upstairs neighbors. My bathtub is nice and deep. The staff, front desk, and maintenance workers are all incredibly friendly, kind, polite, and helpful every single time. Every maintenance request has been taken care of on the spot, even the one that wasn't actually my apartment (my car needed a jump start). The new patio and shared area is just gorgeous. It was worth the wait on the renovations. The complex is pet friendly - there are tons of dogs. I am a very short walk from Trader Joes, Target, Jewel Osco, and Totto's market so I am swimming in grocery options. read more

Burnham Pointe is a great place to live. The management and support staff are very responsive. The apartments are large with sliding doors to the balcony, floor to ceiling windows, and nice events during the year. I lived in New York (Long Island) most of my life and relocated to Chicago. I appreciate a great place to live and Burnham Pointe fits the bill. The location is great, nice restaurants and parks. read more

We love living here. The building staff is really nice, there's 24/7 security, and maintenance is very attentive. The apartments are warm, large and have huge wall-to-ceiling windows that bring the outside in. Can't recommend this building enough. read more

It's a shame the units are satisfactory because the leasing office is an absolute nightmare to work with. Caitlyn and Lindsay have NO business being in a customer focused industry and make it their goal to be as difficult and condescending to all residents. They will make you sign riders randomly that were not on the original lease, as if we have a choice given we currently live there and as are forced to sign unless we want to move? It is the most bs "dog friendly" building, making you walk through weird back hallways, using a tiny tunnel that is WAY too small for more than one dogs all the way down from the front entrance, will throw fines on your account without even a chance to speak with the resident to find out whats going on, we have to find our packages among the entire buildings packages on our own and they again have no liability, same as they had no liability when my dog got attacked in the tunnel that they forced us to use, when it would not have been an issue using the front door like normal people and not being shamed for having a dog. I have many friends in the building who have even worse stories, one of which was pregnant and the shower pipe busted FLOODING their apartment with no compensation, and many others. It's gotten so bad that to make small talk on the elevators it's literally about how awful the leasing office is. I will say Angelica is the only one who deserves a job in this office and hopefully Draper and Kramer do an audit of their service because it's a terrible representation for them and I hope they realize that before everyone moves out because of them. read more
