But after wasting time online and with men who weren't really looking for long term relationships, I was willing to try anything When I first met Joann I had quite the list of who I wanted to meet. I've never had a problem meeting attractive men but just couldn't find the right one. Joann is kind but very direct about getting real about who I should be with. Frankly I was a bit put out that she thought she knew more than me. So I didn't budge. And afterwards I didn't hear from Joann for some time. I was surprised as I thought I would be flooded with dates. But it isn't online dating and by the time she called I had more bad dates and short term relationships and was much more open. I met two men, both were great but one was just a bit different from all the others. He isn't someone I would have picked online but it seems he was the right one for me. We are engaged and I couldn't be happier. Hard to focus at work! Even our pets get along ;-) I recommend Joann's Matchmaking to everyone. I've come to know her well and knows she really cares about what she does. And she doesn't take every man who wants to hire her, she does more than just set up dates. So it really is good men who want relationships. Listening to Joann resulted in meeting my soulmate.

I am over 60, educated, business professional, outgoing and have not had luck in the past with online dating apps. I desire a long term relationship leading to marriage. I immediately received a response from Lisa Marie wanting me to complete an application with photos. Lisa Marie informed me that my application was accepted and asked for more photos. I was excited to start my new adventure since this company had good success ratings and were mentioned in Phoenix magazine and other publications. Well I had not heard anything after 6 months from submitting my profile/photos. I reached back out to Lisa Marie 6 wanting to know why I have not had any matches/responses from them and was informed that the majority of their clients are dormant for the summer and things will be picking up when they return in the fall. I asked for my profile to update with current pics and noticed that of the 10 pics I provided, they only posted 2 of them and in my opinion were not the best of the 10 I provided. I updated my profile with newer photos and changed some of the profile verbiage hoping this round would be more successful. I received confirmation that they received and updated my profile in their system and it's been over 2 years and no correspondence, conversations or potential matches. I even inquired on the what the cost would be to join if this would increase my chances and received no response. Very frustrating. A friend also submitted her profile shortly after I submitted mine with zero success. She also offered to join the paid membership and received no response as well.

Not The physical requirements/parameters I asked for, and not personality/characteristics, either. When I questioned the physical parameters (height), after meeting him, I was told that they give or take 2 to 3 inches. Why even ask me what my parameters are if you're not going to meet them, LOL! He was very short, thin and our lifestyles were not at all compatible. In fact, he's not even in the area five days a week, he works out of state. I'm not sure how someone like that can even sign up for a program like this. The only reason I'm giving this company two stars is because they were all very nice to me, the meetings and interactions have all been very good. They even called me a few days ago to apologize for not being able to find a date for me. Bottom line is, they don't have a very large database of people. Why? This shit is super expensive! That's why. Goal: figure out how to get some of my money back. Unless they can show you numbers of how many people are in their database, I would not recommend you sign up for a program with this company. I wish I had thought about asking that question, during the various interviews! And there were many. Big waste of LOTS of money. UPDATE 12/24/2018: still nothing. Not even a "Merry Christmas, thanks for all your money"

Instead, after three dates, I was so disappointed that I couldn't justify continuing. None of the men I was matched with were remotely compatible with me. We had little to nothing in common, our interests and lifestyles didn't align, and the matches bore no resemblance to what was promised during the sales process. It felt like the company simply matched me with whoever happened to be available in my age range rather than people who actually met the criteria we discussed. When I expressed my concerns and requested a refund because the service clearly wasn't delivering what I believed I had paid for, my request was denied. In my opinion, this company dramatically overpromises and underdelivers. My experience left me feeling like they don't have a strong enough pool of qualified matches for clients with specific expectations, yet they continue selling expensive packages anyway. I would strongly encourage anyone considering spending thousands of dollars here to ask hard questions about the size and quality of their matchmaking database before signing a contract. This was one of the most disappointing services I've ever paid for, and I regret spending $3,750 on it.

I just got a call and the lady was upset I couldn't meet Tracy on Friday (today is a Wednesday). I live in Gilbert and the office is by the Biltmore. I told her my sister just moved in with me from California and we're busy getting everything organized and I wasn't ready, she could call me back. First she asked how old my sister was and when I said 58, she said don't you think she can do it herself. Then she said I was making excuses and would never be married. I first ran into this service at the Women's expo and wanted to use them, but forget it now. I don't know how the lady thought I would even think about it the way she was talking to me. She also sounded like she was eatting while talking or had marbels in her mouth or something. Tracy, find some better salespeople if you want to get more ladies to join.

On October 8, 2011 I received a call from Ken their "Director of Sales" letting me know they had gotten my name from someone stating how wonderful I was and I would make a great partner. When I pressed Ken as to how they got my number (mind you this is my work cell he called) he was vague and dismissive, focusing on how great a matchmaker Tracy is. I have to admit I was not myself that day as I had just had another unsuccessful "meet' and I was curious to find out how they got my since my neighbor (whom I thought had provided them the informaiton), made it clear she had nothing to do with it, Much to my surprise Tracy was working that Saturday and I met with her at 2pm. All seemed legit, from the nice offices (by the way these are business suites that can be rented out by anyone) to the semi- formal "test", to her direct apporach which I prefer. Bells should have been rining when she inquired about my financial status - in hindsite I believe they use this to determine which "package" they present. Admittedly, I made a horrible emotional decision to give her $7.000 up front but her service sounded perfect for a busy woman, they accommodated my need to email me the referrals since I travel every week and sent them for about 7 weeks. I have sent weekly emails, called all phone numbers listed - by the way they have generic answering messages and when you call Ken he answers as an individual not a company. I am sure you have noticed the good reviews on this site are very brief and not from Arizona. I realize the "contract" is in their favor but there is the "court" of public opinion as a resource.
