If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I spent $3,750 on a matchmaking package that promised six carefully selected, high-quality matches based on my preferences. Instead, after three dates, I was so disappointed that I couldn't justify continuing. None of the men I was matched with were remotely compatible with me. We had little to nothing in common, our interests and lifestyles didn't align, and the matches bore no resemblance to what was promised during the sales process. It felt like the company simply matched me with whoever happened to be available in my age range rather than people who actually met the criteria we discussed. When I expressed my concerns and requested a refund because the service clearly wasn't delivering what I believed I had paid for, my request was denied. In my opinion, this company dramatically overpromises and underdelivers. I was repeatedly set up with individuals who did not meet my established criteria, including basic misalignments like age and completely lacking any shared interests or common ground. The Unresponsive Accounts: Two of the provided matches were complete "ghost" accounts where the individuals never engaged or responded. For a premium service, this strongly raises suspicion that the database relies on inactive or unverified profiles to fulfill an internal match quota on paper and burn through a client's contract. The customer service is where the organization completely fails. When a match flaked on a meeting and I raised my legitimate concerns about the breakdown of the service, the matchmaker actually laughed at my situation. When I called this behavior out, the representative offered a defensive deflection, claiming they "were not laughing at me, but laughing at the circumstance." Laughing at a client's frustration when they have paid premium money for a professional service is entirely unacceptable. When the company followed up, their official stance was to completely deflect responsibility, stating, "We aren't responsible for whether the matches we paired you with choose to communicate with you or not." If you pay premium prices, you expect verified, active matches and professional integrity, not unverified profiles, a dating coach who is off topic and talks over you without answering your questions, and staff who laugh at your hurdles. I am writing this review for the Tucson branch of AZ Matchmakers and for Jacob, my matchmaker. I love AZ Matchmakers. They have taken the fear out of dating and made it safe while greatly increasing the odds of finding a mate. I feel like AZ Matchmakers and Jacob have invested a lot of their own time as well as heart and soul into helping their clients. I regret not reading the reviews before joining this service. My experience was terrible! During the initial interview, the person made it seem like I would meet the love of my life within the next year. The interview process was extremely long, filled with questions that I thought would help me find my perfect match, including those about deal breakers. However, all four of my matches were nice, but none went beyond the first date. We didn't have much in common, and our conversations felt extremely forced. I quickly realized that for the "matchmakers," this was just a job. They didn't seem to care whether I liked my match or not. I had four different matchmakers throughout the process. The first three were rude and condescending over the phone. The last one, Adriana, was great--she actually listened to me and had a positive attitude. Despite having two clear deal breakers, the matchmakers repeatedly tried to set me up with people who had one of them. When I pointed this out, they would tell me, "maybe you should be more open-minded." Additionally, I scheduled two different coaching sessions, but they never called me at the appointed time. There were months when I didn't hear from anyone, and when I finally did, they claimed my phone was disconnected--despite me being on a family plan, so that was clearly not true. Yesterday was my first time reading reviews after being scammed by AZ Matchmakers. During pandemic I felt hiring experts would be wise from a safety standpoint of professional team doing safety background check b/c I value myself. I paid upfront quit a bit of money for so many meetings/dates. Crickets. And then more crickets. Never went on a date. Only spoke to one person on phone and hearing red flags I passed on the offer to meet. That's it. That one phone call was the only thing I received after paying quite a bit of money. You can contact agency but you will never hear back. They will wait to contact you until your 12 months contract is up, at that time they will tell you your contract is expired and you can choose to pay thousands to reinstate. They are scammers that slap the word love on top of it. It's hard to believe a company like this is still in business. It's also shocking that local news stations haven't brought local awareness to the masses that have not yet been scammed but are about to. Also to note, the day I signed up they asked me to give them a 5 star review in exchange for additional date. ( which I should have see. The red flag waving!!!) Again it's beyond my mind ability to conceive how a company that functions in operates such as this company is still in business. I'm choosing to see myself is the lucky one here. As in my initial interview I told them the only thing that mattered to me was that I was set up with someone that had integrity and high values and morals at his core. That was the only thing I was looking for!!! If I could give them negative numbers, it would be, a -10. Worst experience of my life. Seems the company has a script and we've all experienced the same thing. Interviewer says there are SO MANY matches out there and too many men with not enough women to go around. They check on your finances, like a car dealership to see how much they can scam from you, not too much that you're totally out of money, but just enough that it makes enough of a dent in your savings. Promises of these great matches, but these "matchmakers" aren't even from the state you live in (at least not the ones I was given. I'm from Arizona and they lived in California) They won't show pictures of prospectives, so basically it's a blind date. They don't listen to your suggestions, they "match" you with a random person. Their contract is totally bogus; seriously, 3 days to decide if you want to cancel it. The company takes weeks to get your background done, but in my case, I'm not sure they even did one!! I didn't sign one, yet, when I asked for a copy of the doucments, I signed, there one was, only it was't my signature!! And the only way I could fight it is with a lawyer, which isn't something I want to waste more time with. Only giving 3 days is absolute BS and they know it. They know it's all a sham, yet they have the perfect answer for every negative review someone has written. "They didn't cancel in the time allotted." "Matchmaking isn't a perfect science, it takes an open mind." Which basically gives the company the right to do anything they want because they can get away with anything and everything. I get to appointment n things totally changed - $1500 more then my price range. Meeting was great. Assessment was fun. Sales 4 - Service 0 Well I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews before I filled out the online questionnaire for Arizona Matchmakers, it would have saved me. Many lessons learned to share. I thought a matchmaker was going to be the way to go since I'm thoughtful of how I spend my resources (it would have been worth it if the service was there). I was contacted within days to set up my initial consultation. Desiree, the lady who conducted my original interview, was great. I felt like I was really being heard for what I was looking for. I'm very unique and want someone to apricate all of that. I initially was going to pass once I got the sales pitch but she convinced me to try their smallest package. It took them almost 2 weeks to run my background check and put me in contact with my first match. My call with the matchmaker, Kristal, was less than 5 minutes and she just threw out some basic facts about my match. Of course, I was just at the point where I was just ready to try it out. (I now know to ask follow up questions from my initial meeting to make sure that the match really does have what I'm looking for in my LTR partner, which is my ultimate goal). My first match was prompt in getting back to me and we met within a couple days. (He had really bad experiences with his first 2 matches. Though neither of us thought we matched to what was discussed with the matchmakers we decided to give it a try. We dated for 3 months before determining it wasn't going to be what either of us was really looking for. Like many matchmakers say, trust the process, we tried). I filled out my first match survey immediately after our first date. I didn't hear back from them until I checked in after 2 weeks. (I think because they talked to my match right after the date & he wanted to put his account on hold). They said they would get right on my next match, at that point I just decided to put my account on hold also. I have not heard from them since. No check-ins over the 3 months to see how it was going. I emailed last week to extend my contract, no response. I emailed them several days after that to let them know that my first match didn't work out and that I was disappointed with my follow up from them and let them know I was not ready to move on with my additional matches. I did finally get a 5 second voice mail 3 days later (it was over a weekend) but Krystal didn't leave a call back number, just said she looked forward to talking to me. I emailed again letting them know I would be in touch if I wanted to continue, which at this point I won't but I do have a year extension on my 3 remaining matches so we will see. (If I do go back and their service improves, I'll let you know). I'm sure there are good matchmakers out there, just don't use this one. Arizona Matchmakers has no clue what customer service is. 2/12/24 Update from their response (on Google review) - He put on happy hold right away, I did not. I waited for 2 weeks before reaching out to the matchmaker to see how to proceed. At that time is when I decided to put my account on hold also. I strongly suggest you update your processes and don't assume both sides are doing the same thing and check in with them at least once after their happy hold. If I would have had that contact, I wouldn't have been disappointed. 2/19/24 Update from follow up call with Megan - It appears that it is all because I didn't understand their processes. They have too many clients (which is good for a data base to pull from) to check in with you personally. Their automated emails survey after each match & you following up with them on how your experience is with each match is required so they can keep modifying how they are choosing your matches is what their process entails. Once again falls back on me not knowing and trusting a professional to guide me (guessing they may teach how to interact with their company better in the add on coaching program). That was until she sent me to the actual matchmaker, Krystal, that lives in California Every time she called, she sounded so dull and far from excited. She also argued with me about the definition of "being safe" as well as what my opinion was about the matches. She also wasn't aware that the lady who signs you up was offering a discount for positive reviews within the first month. Bc they know by the time you give them a chance you won't be able to get out of your contract and unless you're assaulted and go through the system you won't be able to prove you were unsafe. I have spoken with other people who were conned out of money. Most were taken for $4k. I was conned out of $2500. No matching takes place. They just set you up with whatever other people were also victims of their con. Don't waste your money. They are not actually a match making service. I came to AZ Matchmakers spent $6000.00 on Coaching services and matchmaking services. I was told 'we conduct background checks, the men we introduce you to are just as serious about finding their match as you are because they make the same financial investment you do'. I agreed to continue. 3 weeks passed after my background check, I called the Matchmaker line and was provided a matches information via phone and email. My match reached out to me and we set up our date 2 weeks out from our phone conversation due to business travel. This whole timeframe was 5 weeks until I met my match. The day we met, he disclosed a myriad of information making me question the vetting/background check process. He stated during Covid he had worked under the table flipping houses, then proceeded to tell me 2 instances he had profited. He stated he had friends who encouraged him to buy stock in their company because they knew their company was going under. He did and then profited. Then he laughed and remarked 'oh this is probably insider trading'. I said, 'yes it is'. I then proceeded to ask him what brought him to the Matchmaking service, he stated 'i filled out a little bit of my information online, I didn't even complete the application. I honestly wasn't expecting to hear anything. But they called me. I figured, well they are doing most of the work for me so I will continue. Plus they offered me a super big discount and I was like ok, whatever'. This whole situation was appalling. I called the Matchmaking office to report my findings and get a refund on my money due to their lack of due diligence. I spoke with Krystal first, she argued and stated I only had 10days to request a refund. There was no way of telling this was the caliber of men that I would be matched with until 5 weeks had expired. I asked to speak with management. She said she'd put in a ticket but she didn't know when I would be contacted. Today 4.4.23 I spoke with the Manager Megan, she asked for the situation but had no knowledge of what insider trading was. When I asked for a refund, her reasoning was 'he has been in the program 4 months, nobody reported this before, it was all hearsay and there was no way of her getting proof of the statements I made and that she wasn't going to call the match I had and discuss it with him'. She said just because I am unhappy and upset doesn't mean I get a refund back. I let her know that I am emotionless and I do not trust their vetting process. She said just because you make unfounded accusations doesn't mean we will give you refund. I asked doesnt this warrant updating the vetting process and asking more probing questions and how many people have to be introduced to him and report this for you guys to make changes. She stated she would report it to their inhouse legal program. The resolution I was offered, was to place my membership on hold and it will expire 10/18/23 without refund. read more

I didn't know that it was all you were going to go off of to match me in your system..LOL How do you match people? I have asked and never gotten a clear answer. Francie, you said how you and Rosi were excited that I had come to your company and really wanted me to give it a try. You reduced the rate and upon leaving I restated that this was about quality not quantity and was trusting her. Francie was the only reason I stayed!! 10/6 received a call about a match Rexford. Never heard from him so I contacted Krystal and then he called. I believe you both know Rexford quite well and Krystal even stated something to the effect of, Is Rex not behaving? I will speak with him again. I told him before the date was over that we would not continue due to his behavior and controlling nature. 10/29 received a call about Keefe. Never heard from Keefe. 11/10 (or close in date) I contacted Krystal and told her I didn't know what to do because it seemed like...here we go again. I said I trusted her and if he had a little cool factor we are good. She than stated she would give me a 2 for 1 deal with Keefe and David due to my experience so far. THAT WAS NOT A GOOD CALL: David was a very nice person looking to find a women to do missionary work around the world. Don't know how that fit what I was looking for and certainly not my type and Keefe was all about him just moving down from Alaska, living with his son, and looking to move to Prescott or Payson. I fully stated I am not leaving Phoenix! Around 12/20: Krystal talked about Cecil and I shared that I was very concerned as I have WASTED so much time on this nonsense when no one can tell me why I matched with any of these men. This service is really good at charging your credit cards. If I had another way to escalate my issues with a supervisor or owner, I would have not post this review here. I have asked my Match Maker Krystal if I can speak with customer service or supervisor, I was told that She was the only one who I can talk to. But once you sign the contract and pay the fees, do not expect any quality customer service, especially hoping a match maker who will work for you. You will be dealing only one person, Krystal C, who is not willing to listen to your needs nor remember your backgrounds, nor real care to know about the potential match. She randomly sends someone who is clearly on your NOT TO DATE list. Education change people's way of living. I have been telling the match maker that I have to be with people who can carry an intellectual conversation and who has complete college. So far none of the matches she sent to me had a college degree. There were a couple of times I told Krystal that with my education background (post graduate degree with successful career), my date needs to complete college. Oh well, she was really rude and demanded that I need to talk to people who didn't finish college. My first match never called. My second match was someone making most his income by fixing cars in his garage, who didn't finish college. My third match was even worse, someone with a high school degree, just took a job with a local start up company. Please be careful before you hire this company. The only one you will deal after the sales person is a woman called Krystal, who just randomly sends you some people and forcefully demand you to use your "one introduction credit" talk to someone who is clearly on your "DO NOT WANT TO DATE" list. I utilized this service for 9 months and things could not have gone any worse. I spent three hours at my initial appointment with Rosie who was amazing taking notes about what I was looking for and what things were non negotiables things like I am allergic to cats and did not want to date anyone that traveled. Well, my first date was imprisoned for beating up his ex wife's new husband, two of them traveled for work, one had two cats, one yelled at me over the phone and hung up, and two couldn't even make time to schedule a second date. I was even molested by one of my matches in my car when I told him I wasn't interested. I was extremely communicative about my concerns throughout my entire process. My matchmaker Kryatal and I had a very difficult time staying on the same page and I did not feel heard when conversing. She was like a robot. When my membership was nearly over I spoke with the regional manager Megan Hancock about my feelings about the entire experience and all she did was get defensive. Telling me they gave me more matches than the 9 promised but the main issue is the quality of the matches and not bothering to pay attention to my profile while selecting them. Nothing was considered. Personally, I think that is completely unacceptable when you pay almost 6K for a 9 month service. I had very high hopes and went into the experience very open minded. I was interviewed by a woman with the name Desire. She left me alone to fill in the paperwork, while she was "interviewing another client". Well I doubt that this was true, just she wanted me to believe that it is so busy in the office. In fact Desire was the only one in that office. She claimed that they provide excellent service to wealthy customers. The Threshold was $70k a year. I did not mention my salary before the interview. She claimed that all of them are certified matchmakers by the institute of LOVE. Also she mentioned many times "The corporate pays 7 millions for advertisement" or "The corporate pays St. Valentine discounts" etc. She makes me believe that "The corporate" is a trustworthy, highly rated company. When I asked about the cost associated with the service, Desire became nervous and started telling me about the great discounts that they have and the fact that she does not have time for doing interviews and I either decide now, or next time I will have to have another interview. So how much was it? The basic was $7k for 8 meetings, but with the discounts it will be $4k, However, only today I had an opportunity to meet 4 girls for $2k. ... wth? Nope, this is a day-time robbery. It's a scam! There is no guarantee that I will really meet that many girls, and frankly with a budget of $2k I can meet not 4, but 40 girls and I am sure I will get a better match than what Desire will offer me. Hey, one can have a date in Starbucks and be more successful than going to an upper class snobbish restaurant. read more

Total scam and waste of money. Francine, the initial contact and salesperson was upbeat, friendly and promised I would meet my perfect match. She was very likable and got me to easily build trust with her. I give her credit for being good at sales. That's where anything good about this company ended. After determining how many thousands of dollars I could afford to spend (apparently she sizes you up because I have learned from others that we all paid different amounts for nothing) along with her verbal promises, she handed me a contract to sign. It was very tiny print and pages long. I feel stupid now for not examining it more closely. I was then told I had to pay $100 more for an background check which seemed like a good idea and made me feel safer about meeting matches. I was promised six matches over six months. None of the "introductions" as they were called, came even close to meeting my interests in someone I wanted to date. After the first two that were far off base I met someone I thought could be a possibility and put a hold on my account so they would not send me anyone else for a while. By the second date I found several reasons why this person would not be someone with whom I wanted a relationship so I took myself off hold. The remainder of the introductions were so far off base it was ridiculous. I reiterated to Krystal (the actual "certified matchmaker") what was not right about these matches. She was increasingly unfriendly and even nasty each time I spoke with her. She kept pointing to the one date that I said was a possibility but in reality never turned into anything more. She introduced me to someone who had been in jail. I thought the background check would have picked that up but apparently they only check for felonies. Another introduction turned out to be someone who had taken millions of dollars from his company and was forced to resign although he was never arrested probably because he was in a high position and ultimately returned the money. I found this information on Google in several news articles. Krystal said that anything on Google was not to be relied on. However, she, or the company never checked whatever anyone told them (age, location, profession, etc.) and when I said what she told me was not true she said she couldn't help it if they were lying. There are a lot more negative things I can add about this expensive scam but I hope that anyone who has read this far will take their business elsewhere and not sign up with this scam of a company that does nothing but take your money and make empty promises. And if you try to get your money back, forget it. They must have a very good lawyer because they have all their bases covered so you don't have a chance. read more

I moved to AZ in 2019. Being new in town I wanted to put myself out there and meet some quality men in the hopes of finding someone special. I reached out to AZ Matchmakers and set up an appt to meet with them. I told the lady who interviewed me that I had been with a match making group in OR called Portland Singles and that the experience had not been positive. I was consistently set up with men who did not meet my criteria: shorter than me, obese, tobacco users, etc. She assured me that AZ Matchmakers would be different and I fell for it. One of my first dates was with a gentleman several inches shorter than me. Two dates were with men who were not even vaguely in shape or trying to be. One man was over an hour late because he forgot which restaurant we were meeting at. Another two men I could never pin down for a commitment for a date. My last date was finally with a guy that I found to be physically attractive, only to quickly realize that he was an avid churchgoer and preferred a minimalist lifestyle. And he didn't like women with tattoos or make-up. Guess who has a couple of tattoos and wears make-up? Me. His ideals were not bad at all, but that is not who I am. I was upset that the supposed "Matchmaker" thought that pairing me with a man whose values are so much different than mine would be a good idea. All of this I logged into the feedback forms. In October 2020, I got a sales call from AZ Matchmakers wanting to extend my membership for another $1300! I then went into a detailed description of my matches, including the two that I never actually met. I was told that it counts as a "match" if we talk to each other. I realize that AZ Matchmakers has no control over getting people to go on a date, but if one party simply can't commit to that, then I think it should not count as a match. (Pretty much the SAME experience I had with Portland Singles) I wasn't getting anywhere with them, so I told the sales person that I would be posting a scathing review on Yelp. At that point, this lady said, "Oh, please don't do that! Tell you what, if you agree to write a wonderful review for us, we will give you another match." To that, I said, "Make it two matches for the two guys that I never met." The deal was made, they sent me a link to post the review and I did. The very next date never happened. Again. The guy kept cancelling and I gave up. I called and talked at length to a guy named Jesse and he agreed that I should still have two matches and he said that he would make that happen. That was a year ago and I have not heard from AZ Matchmakers since. I have sent a few emails and called and left messages. Nothing. I feel stupid for wasting money on this again. But, overall I am angry that they have clearly scammed a lot of people out of thousands of dollars. I know they can't "guarantee" love, but they should at least be able to deliver on dates that WANT to meet and that check some of the boxes that people are looking for: interests, physicality, lifestyles, etc. read more

I tried this service as I got tired of the online dating scene. You first will meet at their office in person and this will be your last encounter will a real in person matchmaker. The lady you will meet is very, very good at her job. She will hype you up, make you feel good about yourself and convince you to make an "investment" in yourself. I paid $1k for three potential matches. Please go home and think about this service before paying them this amount of money! It took the company close to two months to contact me and tell me about my first match. Long of the short, the first match never contacted me - and that counted as a match - what a joke! It took over a month later for this service to get back in touch with me with another potential match. I explained that the first match never reached out and was met with rude customer service telling me sorry it counted. The second match was a nice gentleman again 2 months later, however did not meet my physical or educational requirements I was looking for that were non-negotiable. I felt pressured into saying yes to this match over the phone with the matchmaker, which was not a good feeling. He did not graduate from college and was currently getting cosmetic dental treatments, which was a huge turn-off. As background I have a Master's degree and Doctorate in Medicine and was really hoping for a better quality match that would at least have graduated from college. The company then contacted me over 2 months after the second match, only because they are trying to meet their own agreement. It has been close to 6 months now and told them how disappointed I was in their service. I am moving in the next month and explained how I did not think it was fair to a potential match to go out on a date when I am moving so soon. Me having to move in June was told to the Matchmaking service at the beginning so they should have been well aware I only had 6 months to meet a potential match. I was not offered any type of partial or full refund for the services they essentially did not provide. Everyone I spoke to was rude, they will pressure you into saying yes to matches that do not fit your criteria and its literally impossible to get ahold of someone. This Arizona Matchmaker is a total DECEPTION and FRAUD. The "certified" matchmakers are NOT doing their job as is stated on their website. I first met the salesperson on the last day of February. She promised a lot of services (security checks, privacy protection, certified matchmakers, coaching, ...). She also told me that they had a large number of high-quality and well-educated people in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area for me to choose from. She then assigned me to an eight "introductions" program. I PAID $5,094.95. Between March 11 and September 8, I was given SEVEN introductions to meet with. Among them, three were in wheelchairs and two of the three had caregivers services 3 and 5 times per week respectively, one had a serious cancer problem and was under treatment, one had Parkinsons' symptoms, and the other two had issues related to religious beliefs and geographical locations. To express my dissatisfaction with their services, I have made a number of phone calls and also have sent many messages and "surveys" to the "certified" matchmaker, Krystal. I asked her for the contact information of her supervisor. Her response was that she was the only person I could talk to. One of the matchmakers, Meghan said that the only thing she could do was to extend the service for four more months, but with no guarantee of a "fit." To respond to her offer that was so meaningless, I wrote to the matchmakers, Meghan and Krystal. I requested the contact information of their company manager and to have some of my money back. However, I have not heard from any of them. The purpose of posting my review is to let you know that please do not fall into their trap. It is a total waste of money and time. Total waste of money. Desiree was a great sales person. I was very skeptical but she kept pressuring me that if I didn't sign up that day, the price she offered wouldn't be available once I left. It was not cheap but I had tried the dating sites and was over that drama so I trusted her when she assured me that they could find the perfect match for me. She kept trying to get me to bend on my height requirement. I'm a tall woman (5'8") and requested men 6' or taller. That's not something I'm comfortable with conceding on and I don't think it's that uncommon. She convinced me that they had over 2,000 members just waiting to be matched. She threw in the Scottsdale market for "free" because she said she didn't have as many men matching my wishlist in Tucson. That should have been my first sign to run. She assured me the well was overflowing with men in Scottsdale and she would have no problem matching me with several. The only thing she followed through on was matching me with someone within 10 days of signing up. I paid for 4 matches. They guaranteed me 4 matches within one year. The first one flaked out after one phone call and ghosted me. The second one was a joke. And I had to call the company to find out what was taking so long to match again. Several weeks had passed. Of course they said were working on it and the next day they had a match. After one phone call with him, I didn't agree to meet him. All he could talk about was his ex and her issues. Again, several weeks went by and I called again. Same thing. New match within days. He was the first match I met in person. He was a widower and showed up to the date wearing his wedding ring with dirt caked under his fingernails and greasy dirty looking hair wearing dirty work boots. Several more weeks went by and I reached out to my matchmaker again. I think her name was Crystal. Same scenario again. It's like they forgot who I was until I called every time. The next match seemed like he would be a good match but after meeting him I discovered he was living with his parents trying to get his life together so he could live off the grid. So that was two of my four guaranteed matches. It's been over five months since I signed up and again we're back to crickets. I still have two matches left and it's been a month since I've heard from them. If I had known what the true situation was, I would never have signed up. Maybe they do have 2,000 members. Read the contract!!! Arizona Matchmakers misrepresent/misleads you on the service the offer and what is in the contract. The is nothing in the contact about the number of matches per all of their discussions. I paid $5000 for 10 matches per what they told me and my contract expired after 3 matches. I asked for a partial refund and they said no. This is an unethical business practice and I would not recommend them. read more

This place is a total sham. Preying on everyone that can. I had an appointment scheduled to be "screened" and upon extensive research and seeing the reviews, I called and indicated I after-all wasn't interested in meeting with the agency. I also kindly asked that they never contact me ever again. Whoever I spoke to became argumentative and stated the Yelp reviews are fake and that I should check out their Google reviews. Little did she know that the Google reviews aren't any better, this place is a COMPLETE JOKE! When I tell my stories about the dating that has been offered through this service, individuals don't believe me. I have been told many untruths by the "match making team" and none of the stories match from one person to an other. Disappointing! I had success with a Chicago matchmaker and a different matchmaker in Scottsdale. Both were serious about honorable matchmaking (personalities, intellect, education and more). Arizona Matchmakers doesn't measure up in any way. My long-time companion passed away and I had hoped to meet a woman who would be compatible and good company for a social relationship. They paid no attention to my description of the lady I was looking for. Two complete mismatches, and I now know that they don't understand serious matchmaking. If I could, I would rate this company less than one star. I was told that I would receive at least 8 meets and to date, have actually only met 2 individuals. The two I did agree to meet were not at all what we discussed. I signed up over 2 years ago and haven't heard a word for over a year. I have tried contacting them several times and they do not return calls, never answer the phone and basically stole my money and disappeared. Pretty much a scam. They take your money and set a few dates but it's really hard since you can't see a photo of the person. They tell you every one is younger than they look, in great shape, loves to travel, works out etc. They call at all times of the day and night, never the same person, from different phone numbers so you may not answer as it could be a robocall. Arizona Matchmakers has hurt me more than any bad date ever has. My program started in May. They were supposed to get me 6 dates in six months. So far, the have successfully only made one date for me. Weeks and weeks go by before I get a call from them. when they do cal, it's mainly to tell me that they are going to call again with a match in a week or so. Twice they told me that a match would call me would call me, and the man never called. It's like those men didn't really exist. Either they don't have the inventory of eligible men for a fifty- something woman, or they are really bad at matchmaking. I was duped.
