You know the place is good when get there and 25 people are waiting outside on a Saturday morning…read moreat 10A. Took 40 minutes to get seated but from there on it was smooth sailing. Wifey got the Rosie 10 breakfast. Two eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 pancakes and 2 pieces of whole wheat toast. Everything was prepared perfectly. I went with the breakfast sandwich and a cup of fruit. Fried egg, slice of sausage, Swiss cheese on an English muffin. Absolute perfection. Fruit was great too - nice mix of banana, strawberries, blueberries, peaches and tangerine slices. The place is homey and reminds you of an old fashion diner. The staff were friendly and very attentive with coffee. Highly recommend without any reservations. Is a must try establishment BUT be prepared to wait in line. It's that good.

So happy I decided to stop into this cute little restaurant while I was out on the road…read more To start a disclaimer!! THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. They do have a ATM inside for a 2$ fee which was a tad annoying but it is what it is. After coming in I was quickly sat by a very friendly waitress and she quickly took my order. The food came out pretty quick and it was delicious.. the bacon was probably some of the best restaurant bacon I've ever had, the 6 oz steak was well seasoned and tasted great. Their homemade/sliced potatoes were yummy and crispy. Overall I'd give this place a 5/5 with the only gripe being the cash / atm. I'll be back for sure if I'm in the area!

This place serves the best breakfasts in the LaCrosse Area! It's a small place in a little town,…read morerustic in its decor. Whatever you get will be plentiful, prepared well, taste great, and leave you full! We have always had Friendly and punctual service. The eggs Benedict seems to always be the special, but that's fine because it is a favorite of my family. Mine are the pancakes: big, solid & moist, and tasty! When they arrive, You have to formulate a plan to eat them, since they cover the entire dinner plate--edge to edge! Everything is a favorite here: the French Toast, the omelettes, the eggs. Breakfast is our thing; I've only gotten a club sandwich otherwise, which was very satisfying....Fresh cut turkey breast with crispy bacon, nothing fatty. Finish that down with some fries....yeah! We don't live in Holmen, but close by. Our family thinks nothing of driving up to this little gem of a lunch place. It's always sa

The salad bar is small, but sufficient for a salad or a soup as a side dish. I wouldn't order a salad bar salad for dinner since there isn't much. The roles are HUGE! See the photo I posted. They weren't warm, but they were soft a doughy. They have pies for dessert--a variety of types. Note that they bake the pies there but they don't make the pies there. Beer selection was descent and they serve old fashions. :) While I probably won't go back, I can see how this place could be a great place for the regulars.
