My heater quit on one of the coldest days we've had. I checked Yelp for heater people and after a few calls and Yelp ratings I had Elevated Comfort come out to have a look. They were very professional, right down to clean uniforms and a huge marked truck. They showed me photos of my 30-40 year-old heater going bad so I decided to get a new heater. The soonest they could do the work was 2 days away so they loaned me 2 nice space heaters. They came out again to do the install, which required things done to bring everything up to code. They arrived at 8:00am and were done by 3:00pm, which I think is amazing considering the tough attic access and all else that they had to do. Elevated Comfort installed a Mitsubishi heat pump unit two years ago. It has worked flawlessly since then until we came home from a vacation and found out that it would no longer heat. The controller in the hall registered a problem with a "temperature sensor." Within two days they sent out Alex, a technician, who discovered a mouse had severed the outdoor temperature sensor wire. It was quickly repaired and is back in use at no cost to us as the company has a good warranty, especially covering labor costs. I had a wall furnace and a window a/c and was shopping around to have a full hvac installed. Elevated Comfort was patient with me as I made the decision. They were right up there with other estimates in fact, a bit lower. They did an excellent job of communicating and getting the work done in a timely manner. These guys are great! I've used them several times in the past and have been satisfied each time. I couldn't get the faucet knob to turn on the hot water in my bath tub. Mr. Alex Martinez once again checked our AC very thoroughly checking where the dye was that he had placed in our unit 2-3 weeks prior and determined that all is working well. I did not know that the dye will also repair smaller leaks. The refrigerant should last a very long time. We appreciate his expertise. Company sent out Brandon to service our 5 year old A/C system which had never been serviced since installation. He was very experienced and said he had to also check our 7 year old furnace which is integrated with the AC. He cleaned and checked the AC outdoor compressor which was totally clogged with lint from our dryer and the furnace itself. While he was there he also drained our 5 year old hot water which had never been done. All of that would have been on a $100+ special, however he talked me into an annual maintenance and repair contract of $399 for all 3 systems which I thought was a good idea given I don't do DIY stuff any longer. And that today's 2 1/2 hour service and coming back out for additional AC calibration in hot weather or anything else required was included in the $399. Well, the next morning (Saturday) I turn on the heat and nothing happens. I call Elevated Comfort at 6 AM and get an AI generated response named Dane. My first experience actually carrying on a real conversation with a bot, and it was amazingly as good as a real person. I told Dane this was an emergency and he said a real person would call me back asap. A very nice lady, can't remember her name, called me within an hour and said a technician would be out before noon. Another very knowledgable and professional, Scott arrived about 11 AM and immediately went to work to diagnose the problem. Within 15 minutes he determined that a couple of hose connections in the furnace had been switched by Brandon. Scott said Brandon and he are long term senior technicians and I believe it. Scott said even the most experienced tech's make simple errors. I thought about giving Elevated Comfort 4 stars because of the screw up, but have decided to do 5 Stars. Why? Because the company was so responsive and professional, both Friday and Saturday morning. I also got in depth explanations from both Brandon and Scott about how my systems work and what to look out for in the future. read more

Called them as a 'second opinion' after our 25 year old gas furnace died the day after Xmas. Walked us thru multiple choices, answered every question we had and made us feel so comfortable with the answers, we wound up using them instead! Installed a York Champion Heat pump, hauled away the old thing. Was a 2 day install and could not have been happier with our techs, Jose & Daniel. Left the house & yard clean, worked with us to fix a crossed wire and hooked up our thermostat of choice. Jose and Ian just came out to do a flush of my water heater. They were pretty incredible. They called before arriving, knowing I had dogs to put away first. They were respectful and extremely knowledgeable about plumbing and HVAC and were able to answer my questions and make recommendations specific to my needs. I learned several things I should be doing yearly and how to do them (simple things like turning valves and about the types of valves). I would definitely recommend them to come out and would have them come out again when needed. These two gentlemen were more than happy to answer questions and share knowledge. We did a competitive bid for replacement furnace with added AC. Elevated Comfort did a thorough job considering the changes required to accomodate AC and the use of the not as well build front room as an office. There was limited change to the existing ductwork but an increase in the size of the return even with a decrease in the size of the furnace. Pricing was inline with the competitors but what set Elevated Comfort apart was the thoughtful design. The work was done on time and looks great. The permitting process wasn't performed by the city as quickly as we expected but went smoothly. Since then we've had technicians out to twice to inspect that everything is working well and to make minor adjustments to the dampers so that airflow is more even throughout the house. Most recently it was Justin but all of the technicians have been friendly, experienced, and thorough. read more

Scott Hampton service my AC on 6-11-2024. The company scheduled me from 8-12AM. Scott arrived at 9:50AM. He was very professional, friendly, easy to talk to, reliable and very knowledgeable about his trade. My unit the was in the attic but the compressor was in the backyard. He diagnosed my AC thoroughly and keeps me updated thru the process. He fixed the problem and didn't leave making sure that everything is properly working. He is very diligent and left at 11:43AM. I will recommend Scott to all my friends. Prior calling Elevated Comfort, I called Choice Home Warranty (my home warranty, worst...). They sent 2 techs from different companies, NV Heating and Cooling and Class A Drain & Plumbing. Both were unreliable and diagnose the same problem which was the control board. They were very questionable about their diagnosis and never checked the compressor. Elevated Comfort sent Scott Hampton and did not find the control board as the problem. He replaced the contactor on the compressor and my AC is back working again. Good job Elevated Comfort and Scott Hampton. read more

We discovered on a cold day that the heater stopped working. On Saturday morning we attempted to get a repair. We were unable to find help until the following Tuesday. Until we contacted Elevated Comfort. Brandon , the repair man , was able to come. He discovered the problem was with the thermostat. He also looked over the furnace. After installing the thermostat the heat, the blower, we're all working better than they had previously with the old thermostat. We were very satisfied with Brandon's work! The only reason why I'm not giving elevated comfort a five star review is the they charged $419.20 for the thermostat I found the same thermostat online for $106.81. When I pointed out this disparity I was unsatisfied with the reason why they were charging so much. read more

Terrible customer service. I called to talk with a technician about ideas for our new 4,000 square ft build and get an estimate on what it would cost for HVAC in our new build and the rep told me they can't give estimates until the walls are up. I told her that they can look at the plans and see the walls and the square footage and give an estimate based on the plans and she said well that's not how our company works... I wouldn't recommend for a new build. Update: The owner commented below explaining that they don't do new construction which would've been a much better response then the others that I had received and I wouldn't have felt the need to leave this review... looks like they are great for service work from all of the other reviews. read more

I have called on this company for several plumbing jobs and a single HVAC service. Elevated Comfort is an incredibly reliable company that does excellent work. They stand by the high quality products they suggest and warranty their work. They arrive on time and are respectful and polite. There were a couple issues post installation that the company came back out to resolve. My only lingering beef with them is that they are *incredibly* expensive. I was new to the area and inexperienced so I went with the first quote I received. I have since gotten other jobs done with similar high quality results for a half to one quarter of the price that Elevated Comfort charged me. On workmanship alone, this company gets 6/5 stars. On price/ affordability, I give them 2/5 stars. I took the average of my ratings and gave them 4 stars overall. If you have money to burn, go right ahead, but I don't, so I would only use this company if I had an emergency situation and no other options. read more
