My fiancé and I purchased a home near the Russian River in early 2022. In December 2022, we hired Gunneau's Home Services through Thumbtack to install a chandelier. Edward arrived with a younger helper. After installation, the light was briefly turned on and off, confirmed working, and we paid between $1,000-$2,000 for the service. Within a few weeks, the chandelier caused the breaker to trip repeatedly when in use. Unsure of the cause, we stopped using it. Later that year, a licensed electrician evaluated the issue. We were informed that the chandelier had not been properly supported and was hanging by the electrical wiring rather than being secured by the mounting chain. By that point, the fixture was no longer usable. Recently, the chandelier detached and fell, shattering into our kitchen and dining area. This prompted us to document the issue and post this review. Prior to doing so, I contacted Edward through his website to seek resolution but did not receive a response. Based on our experience, we were disappointed with the installation and follow-up communication.
