Highly recommend Ray - honest, professional, efficient, kind, and explains things thoroughly and in a way that makes sense. I am seriously amazed and impressed by his work, and so grateful. I first called one Saturday morning last year with a potential emergency and he not only returned my call quickly, on the weekend, but explained things over the phone and was reassuring and knowledgeable. I knew then that I would be using his help for our future plumbing projects, and I truly couldn't be any happier with the work he completed today. It's not even 2 PM and he has finished three different plumbing jobs for me, even though one of them was major and involved cutting into tile (which many plumbers won't even attempt). My water is back up and running and I have a new shower valve, a new faucet, and a new anode rod on my hot water heater. All in less than six hours work. Ray's confidence and expertise with any job no matter how big or small is a true testament to his skill as a professional. And even though he gave me a head's up to move stuff out of the bathroom because the job could be messy, he still left an extremely clean work area in my opinion despite having to cut into the wall and tile. I am truly so impressed. For all the work he completed, I still felt that his prices were fair and reasonable. Overall, Ray is a very qualified and meticulous plumber and I would HIGHLY suggest that you contact him for all of your plumbing projects! At this point I wouldn't use anyone else. Ray is truly the real deal and a seasoned professional who takes pride in his work. read more

Had a bathroom sink issue likely due to my GC's drywall guy putting plaster down the sink. Ray was communicative, punctual, and professional. Per my request he took extra time to inspect around the property, go into the crawlspace, evaluate the plumbing, and make preventative suggestions or improvements. I highly recommend Ray. We had a leak that we could hear that had leaked through to the outside of the house. It was a complex issue. Ray is dependable and highly skilled. He is an expert and finding out what is going on in complex situations. He did that twice for us. He quoted us a price and even when the work became more complex and he had to work more hours, he stuck with the original quote. His work is of the highest quality. In one situation he could have opened a wall and sold us a new water heater, but he showed us how it could work just fine. He saved us a lot of money. We will use Ray from here on out! read more

Ray's Rescue Plumbing was outstanding. Ray responded immediately, showed up right on time, and walked me through exactly what needed to be done. He tackled a brutal root blockage with determination and didn't stop until the line was completely clear and running perfectly. After the job, he took extra time to explain how to prevent the problem going forward. Skilled, honest, and genuinely dedicated to doing the job right. Definitely recommend! read more

Ray has got to be the most conscientious, technically sound plumber I have ever come across. He is well-versed in his trade, easy to work with, response swiftly, and is extremely competitive in pricing. While the job I contracted him for was not terribly large, he seemed to give it as much attention/interest, as if this were a multi-day job. I made sure he knew that all future plumbing work in this home will absolutely be performed by him! I can't recommend him highly enough! read more

These guys are the best. Did a partial home repipe of both the water and drain pipes. Other plumbers tried to upsell us by replacing newer pipes and the water heater. Ray and Alex just did the repiping that was necessary. Excellent communication, friendly and on time. Even worked in tough, rainy conditions. Ray owns his own business and takes pride in his work. Recommended him to all my neighbors. read more

There are a lot of plumbers in Marin, but most don't work on weekends, or they are large companies with spotty records. So I was happy to discover Ray's Rescue plumbing. Ray is a great guy - careful, conscientious, and fast. When our hot water heater died on a Saturday morning, he arrived within an hour, explained the options, and had us up-and-running with hot water by the afternoon. He worked hard and did the job right. There may have been others who would have been cheaper, but we felt like we got good value for our money -- the job is well done, and we are confident we won't have more problems. He also left everything clean and tidy. Definitely recommended! read more
