I found Elements by searching online - and I am so happy with the find. I feel lucky to have come across this place. The office is clean and professional - the staff is always friendly. They also have complimentary water and chocolates while you wait for your massage therapist. I'm a musician and have been going to massage therapy for tension and repetitive motion injuries for the past 10 years. I have regular appointments with Jappa - who (hands down) gives the best massage I have ever had. He's intuitive, experienced and knowledgable and he always asks questions to individualize my massage. My arms and neck feel 11 feet long after every session. At the end of every session, he gives me stretches and "homework" to help keep loose between appointments. He's a pretty cool guy with years of experience and I always leave feeling realigned and relaxed. I haven't seen any of the other therapists, but I wouldn't hesitate to make an appointment any of the other massage therapists there. I have encouraged myself to get a massage by signing up for the monthly subscription. While I don't consider it a "deal" in any way, it is a nice reminder each month to treat myself. I do crossfit 2-3 times a week, so when foam rolling doesn't do the trick, I set up a massage appointment. So far, my favorite masseuse is Jim. He is very professional, friendly, and considerate of any sensitivity you may have. He listens to what you need and delivers. The ambiance here is very relaxing. I am 35 weeks pregnant, and I've been looking everywhere for a good massage since I'm on my feet all day as a personal trainer. I've had a few pregnancy massages, none of which were firm enough to relax me at all. I would always leave feeling the same as when I walked in. But then I tried elements, and I am so glad I did. Gigi gave me an amazing pregnancy massage. Not only was she extremely personable and genuine, she was also knowledgeable in terms of anatomy and being aware of the modifications needed for pregnant women. I find it hard to believe that Christina S (who left a review previously) had such a terrible experience. She had to have been having a bad day, especially since they didn't even charge her for her massage and then she had the nerve to write a bad review which I honestly doubt was even true. The very first thing Gigi asked me was whether or not I wanted heat because she knew it may make me uncomfortable. Because I said I didn't want heat, she did not turn it on. The very next thing she did was give me a pregnancy pillow since the massage was a side-lying massage. She did allow me to lie on my back for a brief period while she massaged my traps, which was great for me! I really appreciated that she asked me if I was comfortable on my back because she was able to apply firmer pressure which I needed! I am a fitness professional, and from my own studies, from talking to my doctor, and from my personal experience being pregnant, lying on your back is not dangerous. It is relative to each individual and their comfort level. Elements Massage is amazing and the customer service is excellent! I love coming here for my monthly massage. The staff is friendly and your masseuse is selected based on the type of pressure you like. Unlike other places, Elements seems geared towards taking care of their clients between massage appointments as well. They always give useful tips to reduce my stress and or muscle issues. I leave here feeling refreshed and ready to tackle yet another work week. I was rather doubtful of not going to a spa-type massage facility but was willing to try a little less in terms of the frills (salt scrub, shower, steam room, etc) in order to be able to get a monthly massage without feeling too guilty. I joined their monthly subscription service after a few visits and they have been amazing! And I still feel quite pampered. I am very happy with the Wellness Package at Elements Massage. I enrolled with the 90 minute massage monthly and my body is so happy. One month I needed to get in again because of a stressful month and I got the discounted price for an extra massage. I love my therapist Sara she really knows her body work and how things are connected. Several times I have left a treatment being amazed how different my body felt. Not just relaxed but I can breathe better, stand taller, and I no longer wear my shoulders for earings. I also like that they will use my essential oils on me that I bring. It really makes a difference for my care. I highly recommend this Elements, the Wellness Packages and Sara. There front desk staff is great too. I was initially hesitant about checking out Elemental Massage, because I dismissed it as a chain, but my neck was killing me and they happened to have an opening that day. I'm now a member of their monthly subscription, and I've gone from hour appointments to 90 minutes. My favorite masseuse here is Jim, and I was/am really really hesitant calling him out on here because his schedule is already super tough to get on! But whatever, secrets out If you do any sort of weightlifting, I totally recommend seeking him out. He's got a soothing voice, a strong pressure and he makes you feel totally comfortable, which is totally understated because who isn't uncomfortable being naked under a thin sheet? But most importantly, he always finds my problem areas and my horrible back/neck always feel better after a visit. Besides a great massage (albeit sometimes painful), everything is totally adjustable- lights, table heat, pressure, music, eye mask, and optional heating pads which adds to a great experience. I am soo glad I found this place. I always struggled with finding a massage place that didnt creep me out or try to "sell me" me before I left, and now ive finally found the right place. The gentleman working the front desk was really welcoming and informative. It is such a clean and warm ambiance, unlike the smaller, cluttered counter tops that i usually came across at other places. My therapist was Paul. He was really great at making me feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning. He was careful to make sure he knew exactly where my problem areas were and exactly what KIND of massage I was looking for (most therapist dont think to ask what KIND). I was not in a tremendous amount of pain, it is more so maintenance for me, so something gentle and relaxing is what I wanted. He was positive and in a cheerful mood, which is preferable to the therapists who just want to "get started already". I felt welcome and appreciated. He massaged me with the perfect amount of pressure and worked on my problem area (my neck) without putting me in any pain. Most people prefer a silent massage, however, it never hurts when the therapists is vocal and asks you how it is going, or if there needs to be any changes made. Paul was a perfect professional and had AMAZING technique. I chose to continue as a patient through their Wellness Program. I feel like my search for a great massage is over. While the therapists are pretty good, the service is terrible, which has caused me to not want to do business with Elements. Apparently they firmly believe their time is more valuable than yours. I signed up as a member in February. Since then, I have regretted the decision because once you find a therapist (or a few) that you like, you won't be able to see them again for months if you're a working person or they have left, which would indicate a problem. Also, it seems that when specials are run, the front desk is not able to comprehend them and insists on the additional payment anyway. It took me 3 appointments to get the extra 30 minute add on special as they didn't put it in the schedule, and was still charged and had to ask for a refund. Read other reviews, same thing has been happening for a year and this business has done nothing to correct it. So you will spend a lot of time trying to get their charges correct on your credit card. My membership was short-lived. The icing on the cake came when I pulled into the parking lot for my appointment last week and my phone rang. My therapist went home with a migraine (not the problem) but they were not able to accommodate me that day even though I had 10 minutes notice for their cancellation. I was understanding and scheduled another appointment for today. I showed up and they tell me the therapist is injured. Yet no one thought to speak to me ahead of time, again, to reschedule. Again, no one could fill in. Yet on their website, they advertise that walk-ins are welcome. For a business to require a 24 hr cancellation notice for its clients, they should extend the same courtesy to their clients or pay them for the missed appointment. The therapist did not suddenly become "injured" today. Since the only appointment offered to me with this therapist last week was the middle of the day today, the front desk couldn't care less what it did to my day and the fact that I live in Willow Glen, not around the corner. I was at the desk and there were no appointments with another therapist. I'm not going to play this game again. Let's see how long it takes to get my refund. Until the owners learn how to run a business and put their clients needs first, and respect how their service affects their therapists, skip this place altogether. There is far too much competition, plenty of better places out there. read more

Administration: The receptionists are amazing. I've always been curious about Elements since it is close to home so one morning I decided to email in and give it a try. They got back to me within the hour with plenty of availability and answered all of my questions. They greet you warmly and always have good suggestions on different therapists. Ambiance: Waiting area is very clean with water and relaxing vibe. Going back to the bathroom is great too with extra perks like mouthwash, feminine supplies and whatever else you may want before your massage. Inside the room is super relaxing of course. Dim lights, soft music, etc. Massage: For both of my massages I've had Sasha. I originally came in with low back pain radiating down my leg. She zeroed in on it right away and really loosened me up. She has a soothing touch but can also work those knots! What I appreciated was that after my massage she suggested a series of stretches to do and gave me her recommendation on when I should be back. Since then I've incorporated the stretches and my back pain is gone! I also love their Wellness Club option which is flexible and allows you to add a family member at no extra cost, roll over massages, or place your account on hold. They send out specials and deals when you are apart of the club and email you with availability throughout the week. Overall it is totally worth the money and more than just treating yourself, it is self care in a whole new way. read more

I am a firm believer of first impressions and how they will influence my interaction with the overall experience. I was impress of the very friendly receptionists and the peaceful ambiance. When I met with my masseuse, Karen, I explained my trouble spots and requested that she concentrate on those areas for the 60min session. I typically like to understand why certain pressure points were more painful/sensitive than others. Karen did exactly that. She concentrated on my neck, shoulders and lower back; which I'm sure are the typical trouble spots for everyone. As she worked in those areas, she provided information on why and what could have caused the tension/pain. She also provided recommendations on how to help prevent the pain with simple exercises and change in routine. I am all about educating myself for my own betterment. Late review: I came in one October day, I called in the morning to see if they had any prenatal massages available as my back have been hurting. They were able to squeeze me in within an hour. My masseuse was Gigi and she knew what to do especially because I was pregnant. I recommend her for prenatal massages. As a female, I usually prefer female massage therapists; however, none were available on such short notice, so I booked with Brian S for a 90 min deep tissue the day beforehand. It was my second time here yesterday (11.20) and had the deep tissue session with Vincent. He's doing his internship here. I always had some stiffness on my upper back and shoulders and I usually get just a "regular" shiatsu massage. Today, I woke up with stiff-free upper back and shoulders! Thank you to Vincent! I would definitely follow Vincent wherever he'd end up working! I'm not saying this because he's one of my best friends! :) But I do get a massage once a week and I know a "just ok" massage and an awesome one! The office itself is clean and organized. The 2 front desk girls need to be more welcoming, energized, and they need to smile. One of them even asked me "did you need a receipt that shows you didn't pay?" I thought it was rude and felt a little discomfort. FYI: my massage was complimentary because Vincent is doing his internship here. My daughter recently had a facial massage with Karen as she suffers from TMJ. Karen was recommended as she has expertise in this field. She was wonderful! Very relaxing as well as she imparted lots of information and was very respectful checking in and making sure there was no discomfort. I highly recommend her. That being said, for TMJ I'm not sure massage is a helpful to if it is a disc problem. I could see it being more helpful for jaw muscle problems. read more

I receive massages every month, if not several times a month, and have been getting massages for decades. I travel for work and just started spend the weekdays in Silicon Valley...I booked Sasha at Elements in Campbell blindly as my back has been killing me despite just getting a massage last week. WOW is all I have to say...she found the problem areas in my back immediately like a bloodhound, and went to work with the perfect amount of pressure and attention to the areas that needed it. I am part of the Wellness program and I love it. The staff is great and the masseuses are amazing, specially Karen, Sarah, I mean they all are great! I am really happy with all their staff so far. The only thing is that they are so strict with the lateness. You will loose time if you late and even be fully charged in case you just get stuck in traffic. This to me is a bit ironic because when you show up in time they don't usually see you right away, you need to wait and at the end they even end before time, I noticed. So 5 minutes late and 5-8 minutes earlier add up. I really hope they work on this, 1hr message is 1hr and should not count you getting dressed/undressed and waiting time. read more

I've been coming to Elements Campbell for some time. Since my first great experience there I've told numerous friends about this place and his is my go to gift for loved ones. But the quality of service has declined - at least three times I've scheduled much needed massage (back and neck issues, post partum hips and currently lots of back ache from the current pregnancy) and had them either call the night before or literally a couple of hours before to "reschedule." I scheduled a massage for my husband and that was also rescheduled. It isn't easy squeezing in much needed me time into my life lately and this definitely frustrates me. I had scheduled my day around this appointment and had arranged for a sitter. Update: The owner did call after my review to explain the situation and to make things right. For me that always holds a lot of weight because it tells me they truly care about their clients and want to provide great experiences. And since until this experience I had a good experience at the spa before this incident, I'm willing to chalk this up to one particular massage therapist just having issues. read more

Just received a wonderful massage today from Kasia. They have a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. The massage was very complete and completely relaxing. The therapist was one of the best I've ever had. Although it doesn't have all the amenities as Burke Williams Spa, It was very clean, professional and relaxing. I definitely will be returning often. I really liked the feel, and the overall atmosphere here. The people at the front were very welcoming and attentive. My massage therapist, Dan, was very friendly and courteous as well. I have some surgical history that previous therapists have been intimidated by, but Dan was up to the. He was very intuitive to my initial problem areas, and even found ones I was unaware of. After the massage he gave me some very helpful information on what he found, as well as some stretches. I also really like how they offer you water and a hot towel after the massage is over. Elements Massage is a really well run business that takes very good care of their customers. The staff here is very friendly! I first came here and walked in and checked in for my appointment. I was asked if I wanted a beverage before my massage. Lexie was working the front desk and she is such a friendly, sweet and pleasant lady. She let my massage therapist, Zhenia, know I was here. Zhenia was on time and came out and greeted me and walked me to my massage room. This whole facility is so serene, you can't help but to be at peace and so relaxed. The room was very clean and the lights were dim just how I like it. Zhenia asked if there were certain parts I needed more work on. I told her about my neck and shoulders feeling really tight. She still gave me a full body 55 min. massage but also gave the extra work needed on my shoulders and neck. She was really great and is a soft spoken person that doesn't talk your ear off when you get a massage. Some people like to get personal and I'm the type that doesn't want to have a conversation and just relax and have an amazing massage. Zhenia definitely accomplished that! When the massage was over she served me some water and walked me out to the front where Lexie helped with my next appointment and informed me of all the current promotions (she was very informative and not pushy at all).
