I've had an amazing experience at Elements from the tour to leasing and moving in. Yesterday we had some scheduled preventative maintenance that was occurring while I had some important phone calls and all the folks in the office and maintenance team were exceptionally helpful in accommodating my schedule! Today, I had a few light bulbs out and Anthony came by to take care of them! He was so kind, polite, efficient, and respectful in wearing a mask and shoe-covers! As someone who worked in property management I am so impressed with this community and all of the staff with whom I've had the pleasure to interact! Kudos Elements team! read more

decent apartment, but the walls are so thin and noise is a huge issue. lived in a unit where a family with a kid lived above and the running and jumping was unbearable. also could hear neighbors alarms go off for hours (because nobody was home). decided to move into a new unit this year. new neighbors have a sound system and sub woofer and we can hear the walls vibrate with the sound of the bass and music throughout the day and at night. driving me nuts. I have submit multiple complaints to the establishment in regard to ALL of the above issues, but no help. especially when it comes to loud neighbors, or parties. read more

I gave Anthony in Maintenance a list of things that needed repair. He promptly repaired the list. He was courteous and always wears a big smile. Anthony was careful about wearing a foot covering over his shoes when walking through my apartment. I would definitely have Anthony back for any repairs my apartment may need. He helped with linking my Sky Bell and replaced a missing screw in one of my kitchen drawers. He seems to be well versed in all areas of repair. Thanks Anthony!! read more

In response to the managements comment on my initial post.... "oh fair housing? Didn't you do this for someone else? But you can't for me??? I am so frustrated with this place! You guys are still not doing anything about my extreme noise situation. I know someone on the first floor that had a similar complaint as me get moved to the 5th floor, better unit and same price. I won't name names but I will if it comes down to it. So I know for a fact you can move me and make me a happy resident." DON'T MOVE HERE! Unless you live on the top floor and pay top dollar for the best corner unit, don't do it. I wish I can give this place a negative million star review.... especially towards Garden Communities customer service. I have lived here for over 2 years, my first year and a half was great because I lived on the top floor away from everything and everyone. Due to life changes I had to move to a different unit on the 3rd floor. I took into consideration noise from neighbors but when the gym reopened man do I hate it! on top of noisy neighbors, construction AND NOW THE GYM it is an absolute nightmare. I have been a resident for a while, never been late on rent and super respectable. I contacted customer service to change me units at equal or less rent and they blew me off and can't accommodate me unless I want to PAY MORE for the same exact shit location of a unit on the same floor. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Why wouldn't they care about the residents and give them a positive experience??? I literally get ignored and swept under the rug and this is NOT ok, it is a JOKE!!!! I work from home and can hear the gym perfectly clear. It sounds like bombs going off first thing in the morning. I don't even need an alarm clock to wake me up, the vibrations and noise from weights do it for me. It's a really shitty way to start my day and puts me in a terrible mood. It also startles my poor dog. Every time I invite friends over they are like "what the heck is that" it's so annoying and totally ruins the quality of life living here. Get this: no where in my contract does it state gym noises, just noise from neighbors and construction. I assume this is why the previous tenant was so quick to get the heck out of this place. Every community has their hiccups and comes with pros and cons. But overall, my experience at Elements has been good. Been here for two years now and I just want to explain one little detail that makes a big difference in your living experience and maybe this will help you make your decision. The maintenance staff here is on point and above average no doubt in terms of their professionalism and ability and willingness to get things done and fix the problem. We had a pretty big clog and Anthony from maintenance really did a great job in fixing the problem, explaining why it was happening, and going the extra mile in making sure this can be prevented down the line. I've had good experiences with the maintenance managers all around and the fact that if there is anything wrong within your apartment they are there to solve the problem ASAP. Amazing place to live, it's like living in a hotel. I have no had any issues with noise and have not heard one neighbor above me or on either side. The leasing office and Amanda are incredibly responsive. Maintenance comes very fast when you call them. Guest parking sucks, but there's plenty of parking around the complex which is a pretty short distant walk so it's not the worst thing in the world. Overall, it's a great place to live read more

I stopped by, spoke with Regina, and went on a tour with her and the thing that made me want to write this review is because of how helpful and friendly she was. She physically showed me the inside of various floor plans as I had a hard time imagining the subtle changes between what she was describing, so that level of patience was awesome! i've been living at elements for a little over 5 months now and i really have no complaints thus far! i know everyone's experiences can be different, however i'd like to share and speak on mine and hopefully help anyone considering this (in my personally opinion) wonderful community! i moved here extremely last minute around the holidays and all i can say is REGINA! this woman is truly remarkable, from the moment i called she made me feel so comfortable, because my move was so last minute i had a million and one questions, and without hesitation, she was so accommodating and really made me feel welcomed. i had a few other communities i was looking at and prior to calling elements, and truthfully i'd toured it once when it first opened and wasn't impressed (maybe due to new construction/staff adjusting). so that being said, the community wasn't my first pick! however i do believe having a good relationship with your leasing staff is extremely important (staff is completely different from when i toured the first time btw), at least to me and after scheduling an appointment with regina i was very excited to meet her and give it another chance! i remember having tours with elements and another community that day and although elements being my 2nd favorite, i went to tour it first. funny enough, i was really expecting to be underwhelmed because of the first time but to my surprise, i actually instantly fell IN LOVE with my unit! i'm someone who loves interior design and i really enjoyed the color scheme and the overall modern feel. plus unlike other places in the area i REALLY appreciated the spacious bedrooms and living rooms! i can say elements wowed me, and i think for the size of my unit and the price point it really was a no brainer. searching for a place so last minute and through a pandemic had me a bit anxious and regina really made everything a breeze, not only that but she made me feel like such a priority AND she's a character LOL i really appreciated that! as i went to my second community i just didn't feel the same zest i felt from elements (staff, amenities, my unit, etc.) i almost felt like i was cheating and found myself scratching my head wondering what i was doing touring something else LOL! needless to say i went with my gut and i'm extremely happy i did. moving in was super easy, and anything i needed regina was by my side. i've lived at other places where the leasing staff wasn't too friendly and it really made me feel uncomfortable considering these are the people who you should be able to rely on, especially when paying to live in luxury apartments. so to say you a great relationship with the leasing staff even many months AFTER i've moved in personally makes me feel safe and truly at HOME! i've recommended elements to a couple of my friends who have made the choice to move as well, and i would recommend it to anyone reading this review for reference! PROS: friendly accommodating leasing staff! anything and everything i've called about has instantly been handled and taken care of! Regina is my girl! Natalia the manager is super easy going and a doll! also the two maintenance guys are super hands on and amazing! neighbors are super friendly, the vibe is pretty young here and it seems super chill. my unit is perfect! CONS: (i want to note these aren't a big deal AT ALL to me personally, no community is completely perfect, and i'd say the pros definitely weigh them out in my opinion. that being said these truly are the only things i've run into and if you do tour or consider moving in just know they are frequently being taken care of or monitored as best as the staff can.) 1) occasionally the trash chutes in the trash room are closed while they rid of the dumpsters below so you have to walk to another chute and hope that one isn't closed either. so some cases you have to walk back to ur unit with it. some residents pile up trash which is lame however the leasing office always tries to be on it as best as they can to keep it clean! 2) also the side entrance on bardeen 3/5 times smells like pet urine, which again the leasing office tries their best but what can you do if the pet owners are lazy and reckless. (if that annoys you, you can strut through the main entrance by the egg off teller, that's where everyone usually goes through anyways lol) 3) the amenities due to covid either haven't fully opened or have a resident only reservation policy with 30 min time slots (the gym can be reserved 2 times a day though), however covid is seemly coming to an end here so that shouldn't be of an issue come the summer! read more

I don't live at Elements but I would come here to visit a friend who did and I must say I have never been to a better apartment gym in my life. The facility is jaw dropping but it's really the service and staff that made it as amazing of an experience as it was. James is the man! Always smiling and bringing the good vibes to the gym. He is very liked and respected and always made an effort to say what's up. I no longer live in the area but if I ever move back. I will be moving into elements and I hope James will still be there! read more

I've lived in elements now for two years and while at first glance it seems like luxury I really don't feel that it actual is. the floor plans here are fantastic and that's why im giving it two stars. If you compare the floor plans here to other apartments in the area you will see that here has a more spacious open vibe which I personally love. But that' is def the only pro. First the leasing office staff is by far the laziest people I've ever met. Once you move in they do not ever want to hear from you again trust me . Secondly the constant noise I mean it is constant. Everyone can hear everyone in this apartment building. This is not a quiet community and the walls are very very thin. Thirdly everything seems so flimsy. The washer and dryer, the cabinets, even the paint on the wall. It just seems like it was rushed to be put together. The quality of this apartment building is very deceiving, as it appears like it's going to be fancy but in reality it isn't. In addition to that Amazon package lockers always have issues, security doesn't exist here, ticketing is constant on the street, and many people also complain about thefts. We've also had some safety issues too. There was an standby with the swat team here a few months ago, police are always being called for something, fire trucks etc. this building always has something going on. Majority of the people here move out once their lease ends so there is always moving going on along with the construction next door that is no where near complete. I do want to add though I really appreciate the maintenance team here. There are only a few them yet they have to run around this huge building with so many residential issues and they do it with a smile on their face. They are truly doing the best they can and I really appreciate them, that along with John who works in the gyms office. I would really like to see elements start taking some of the feedback they have been getting for the last year into consideration. I recently have had a friend that was moving into OC ask if I recommend this building and I couldn't do so based of my experience this far. read more

I am current residence in wood. I am here to share my experience. Leave before you rent!!!! Don't live here!!! This apartment is not equal to what the price it have. You will definitely look at their amenities and think that it is fantastic. But the fact is they are overrated. If you live here, you can hear your neighbor from upstairs clearly!!! they don't do much for you even you report the noise. They will lie to you and tell you there is no one in the house. I feel they are definitely racism. They don't help you at all. They don't fix the amenities until you have asked them too many times. Their leasing office keey lying to us that wood building's amenities will open at the beginning of January. But there is still nothing open for us to use at all, and for some people who live in the wood buildings, we pay for the amenities for half a year and still get nothing to use. In wood building they used to have many guest parking, but they recently delected most of the guest parking in wood buliding and also in metal there are only few guest parking you can park, and most of them got occupy by the residence who have more than one car. So tbh if you live here, don't expect to have guest parking for your guest. Leasing office will tell you that you can ask your guest to park on the street, but let me tell you, that's is totally a joke, your guest will either get ticket or not find a spot on the street. the garbage room here in wood builidng especially on 5th floor is such a mess. people just leave thier trash bag on the floor and don't take care of it. read more

COVID has been tough on everyone and I'm so glad that Elements partnered with Motion Fitness across the street to provide workouts for the residents. As a resident I am so happy that Elements did this. Motion is awesome and the cool outside workout area is perfect for keeping distance and still getting a great workout in! The classes with Ryan are the best, always pushing the group to give it their all during the workout. Definitely couldn't push myself like that working out by myself. I'm just grateful that elements made this partnership with them. read more

We moved in ten days ago' and our full experience has been wonderful! Starting from the amazing warm and constant assistance from the Leasing office. Regina guided us from day one through the entire process. Always available to provide details when needed and to assist. She is extremely professional, polite and customer oriented. I wanted so very bad to love this place. The leasing staff were so nice at first, and everything looked aesthetic from the outside looking in. However, every week or 2 there's 1 of these unlivable cons: 1. Unexpected fire alarms because the complex is connected. They're Exceptionally piercing, close to the head, and several alarms are in one unit. 2. Sewage spill affecting multiple residents. 3. Mold affecting multiple residents. 4. EXTREMELY harmful silica dust filling the hallways with no protective barrier or masks provided. 5. Loud drilling. They are only 30% done with construction packing more units here. 6. Fire alarm testing for the entire day. A neighbor has said over 20 fire drills and counting! 7. Discrimination. Many residents have brought full family/friends/relatives to the amenities, but we've been harassed each time our only family here have checked them out with us. 8. Feces. I believe a few large dogs leave large feces on the sidewalk, astroturf, and bushes. I commend folks picking up after their dogs, but there are enough offenders to say: For your health, forget jogging around Elements. Here are a few lies that the leasing managers told us: 1. The walls are so soundproof we'll never be bothered by noise. 2. They'll always be there for us if there is an issue... 3. Amenities will be available by... Expect 3+ months delays for all amenities from the sales pitch. You're PAYING a "Luxury Apartment" price for these, but half the promised amenities aren't even built yet!!! Covid-19 Update: All amenities have been closed since early March, well before gyms and public recreation areas closed down in the rest of Orange County. Props to Elements for the early response. But rent here is already extremely high because it is marketed as "Luxury Apartments". Elements is still making the same high profits from residents, but not providing any of the amenities. Compare this management to some counties and landlords providing rent reduction without even removing parts of their living arrangement. read more
