But after a few classes at Highland Yoga, I have a feeling I may have found my new home. I've visited both the Buckhead and Brookhaven locations. Both are beautiful, but Brookhaven is definitely my favorite since it's so close to my house. It may not seem like a huge difference, but on those days when motivation is a little low, having a studio just minutes away makes it so much easier to stay consistent. I also want to give a special shout-out to Kindall. She has such a beautiful spirit and was incredibly welcoming. When you're trying a new studio, the people you encounter really shape your first impression, and she made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. Another thing I appreciate is the size of the studio. The waiting area is spacious, and the practice room itself never feels overcrowded. After a hot yoga class, we're all a little sweaty and tired, so having enough space makes a huge difference. I've been to studios that felt a bit cramped, and it can become overstimulating pretty quickly. Highland does a great job of creating an environment that feels open, calm, and comfortable. And I have to mention the parking--because convenient parking deserves its own paragraph! There's a free parking garage directly across from the studio that's less than a five-minute walk away. If you're unfamiliar with the area, that's such a nice bonus. On those mornings when you're running a little behind, the last thing you want to worry about is circling for parking before class. Thankfully, that's not something you have to think about here. I'm officially five classes in, and I can already say I think Highland Yoga has earned a new member. I'm looking forward to continuing my practice here.

Every "body" is welcome here. You don't have to be an expert or be super flexible. Each person does what they can do, and we all still get the full benefits of this awesomely therapeutic practice. The teachers are SUPER nice and knowledgeable!! The temperature is ideal- SO therapeutic. It helps us stretch our muscles and also to purify our bodies. This is a delightful place to practice Bikram. Most others are hot " vinyasa " flow yoga .. Nothing against those practices but it't not Bikram ... My only complaint would be the size of the space. It could be bigger to accommodate the crowds that show up esp around the beginning of the year. Other than that ... Excellent ! If you go, Check out Janet, Cleveland, and Hannah ... So lovely to see a non-chain yoga studio. Well designed space with a calming aesthetic. The instructors here are VERY good. It's almost like you get personal yoga training as the instructors give ample 1:1 attention throughout the class, are welcoming and encouraging. I also really love the space. It's very large and plenty of room to spread out facilitates the use of props since you a lot of space for your supports which are available there. It's not uncommon to have a blanket, bloster, strap, blocks, a thick blanket, and sometimes add a chair and ball, AND use all of them. They really focus on getting circulation flowing everywhere. Highly recommend for anyone from new yogis to people wanting to master more complicated intermediate postures.

I used to do Pilates for years but had a break since Covid so I'm getting back in the swing of things. I highly recommend this class to get introduced to the movements. As for the studio, it's new and cute. Reformology offers free parking to its patrons. I had the opportunity to meet the studio's owner and she is very kind. She took the time to give me a tour of the studio as today was my first visit. Right now Reformology Pilates is offering quite a few specials so if you are new to Pilates or are looking for a new studio to try out, I highly recommend this location.

The classes range from stretching meditative to challenging workout. I have tried the big chain type (which has many good features) to small, personal friendly studios to super strict and yoga-judgmental places (how can yoga be judgmental?) Anelise is wonderful, but truly, I have gotten a lot out of every class with different instructors. Summaya is also great; she is like my yoga touchpoint. It isn't conveniently located for me (live near Decatur and Work in Midtown), but worth the extra effort to get there (on weekends). They have classes early, noon and after work. You will enter Sacred Thread from the back parking lot, which has plenty of spaces weekend mornings and weekdays, but it is more challenging to park weekend afternoons and after work.

Since I was already in the area for a nail appointment, I decided to look up the closest studio nearby, and that happened to be the Memorial location. Naturally, my first question was, "What's the parking situation?" Let's be honest--parking in Atlanta can make or break the experience. Thankfully, this location checked that box with ease. The studio is located in the shopping center with Publix and AMC, and there's a free parking garage available. The studio itself is directly across from the garage entrance, so it's only about a two- to three-minute walk depending on where you park. You'll head into the building and take either the elevator or the stairs up to the studio. Overall, it was very easy to find and super convenient. I took a Vinyasa Yin class with Megan, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with such warmth and genuine kindness. Before class even started, she took the time to ask how my day was, and I immediately felt welcomed. Those little interactions really do make a difference, especially when you're visiting a location for the first time. Her energy throughout the class was just as amazing. She created such a calming, positive environment while still keeping everyone engaged. I found myself thinking halfway through class that I'd absolutely make the drive back just to take another class with her. Although the Memorial location isn't the closest studio to me, I wouldn't hesitate to return if I'm in the area again. Between the convenient parking, welcoming atmosphere, and Megan's incredible instruction, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

In Atlanta parking can prove to be difficult or very costly garages, but this location is in the Madison Yards complex and offers ample parking. There's a free parking garage directly across from the entry right next to the AMC. And if you'd like afterwards its not too far of a walk from the beltline and some brunch options. In regards to the space itself, it is very clean and offers lots of natural sunlight. The studio is spacious enough but can get pretty packed during their busy times. If you are new to Highland yoga they do have great newcomer specials to give it a try. This studio is also on Classpass which also seems to be a great value if you're interested in trying different classes and locations.

This was my first time trying Pilates and what a workout it was! I have sore muscles in places I didn't even know I had muscles! I really enjoyed the movements and the pace of the class. Dana was an amazing instructor! She is kind, patient, demos movements and is constantly moving around to keep an eye on everyone, correct form and encourage them. I really appreciated this being a total newbie! At the beginning of class she gave a quick overview of the reformer so you knew how to make adjustments and how to properly utilize cables. She also would give modifications for certain exercises incase someone needed them. Like most things in Atlanta parking can be a bit tricky ... but they send a welcome email to give you a heads up. Just show up a little early to ensure you find a spot and are on time to class. There is a paid lot or the neighborhood around there has some street parking, you might just have to walk a couple blocks.
