I went to barre3 with my friend for BarreLates via classpass for the first time, and enjoyed my experience there! We tried an 8 credit BarreLates, where equipment was provided including barbells, resistance bands, mini yoga balls, and a yoga mat. The class itself was quite small and intimate, if you prefer smaller classes this is perfect for you! They also had a sign up front customized to welcome us which was a very cute and personalized touch. Our instructor, Erin Seibel, was very sweet, energetic, and encouraging! I'd recommend trying to book a class not right at rush hour unless you live close by, the traffic trying to get there is my only complaint if I had to dig for one, especially because it is by a busy intersection coming off the highway. Overall, I liked the experience and how welcoming the environment was!! read more

barre3 - Barre Classes Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

I have been a member for this studio prepandemic and post pandemic and want to give it a big shout out ! Great studio with diversity of classes, not always typical barre3 but also has strength classes and diversity of times as well( early morning to post workout) !Diversity of the people who attend , mostly 98% female but they are of all ages and diverse ethnic/ racial groups as well as diverse shapes and sizes. The teachers and staff are diverse and bring a lot of energy to their classes. It really feels like a community with many activities centered around holidays. Highly recommend this studio! read more

10/10 recommend B3DH! I have been moving with Barre3 Druid Hills since June of 2023. I have made so many friends there and really improved my personal fitness. It's not like traditional barre, so you do not spend an entire class moving slow and/or at the barre. Trust me, some classes I am moving my buns off and sweating a ton! Others are more intentional or slow strength classes. I like the variety and all of the different instructors, as I get bored easily with repetitive workouts. I also love the member events which have included "free" (I pay a monthly premium) chiropractor, stretch classes, wine tasting, vision board making, etc. I love this community and I love the new owner. I am so thankful to have B3DH in my life. You should give it a try to see if it works for you. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this studio. I went through ClassPass. I noticed it was not far from where I lived. As soon as I arrived everyone was very welcoming. I took my first class with Celeste. She's fun and full of great energy! What I really like about this place was there were all different fitness levels and different types of people. It was a very welcoming environment and non intimidating like some other places. I will be back soon! read more

The barre3 Druid Hills community is the best there is! Both the staff and the members are incredibly kind and supportive. Each instructor provides modifications for you to make your workout fit your needs. The structure of the classes is great too: leg work, combo/cardio, core, and then stretch and breath. It has been my go-to workout routine for the past year now! Highly recommend! read more

Love this place! I come to the early classes either 6:30 or 7:15 on Saturdays. Clean establishment and friendly staff. The instructors are personable and help challenge and push you to get low. Love the clean bathrooms and showers that offer shampoo and conditioner. Also have a child play area if you have kids. They are always hosting community events. IE April 1st they will be hosting Barre in the Park in Town Brookhaven. And I believe this weekend they also did a group 3K. They love to get the community involved and spread the wealth of health. Plus, you will get a great work out while having fun! read more

I'm not a person who likes to go to gyms or actually work out. I went to Barre3 with my daughter and pushed myself and thought I was going to die.lol. I will admit I really enjoyed my 2nd time to Barre with my daughter as an instructor now. How she is able to talk during the work out is beyond me. She came to me a few times to make sure I was doing ok. She took time to approach many others and guided them with light hands on to straighten up or adjust. Her energy kept me going. Her smile keeps it positive. It ended up being such a fun time and the hour truly flew by. You are able to go at your own pace. You can stop and take a drink at anytime. You can take a breather if needed at anytime with no judgement. I wish there was a class where I live. If you ever have an opportunity to go...Just GO!!! Thanks Barre3! Traci Callaghan! read more

All of the instruction are professional and friendly. The classes are fun and challenging. Tara is awesome.

Loved barre 3 class today!!! Feel like a fluff marshmallow right now but totally worth it. (Like, I can't feel anything lol) I've been going to Pure Barre and loved the classes there, but Barre 3 is more intense, which is exactly what I need to shed pounds for the wedding. Heard from my bestie and her cousin that Barre 3 is more modern and great that I finally tried it through my class pass. This Barre 3 is located off of exit 89 in the newly renovated plaza with Fresh Market and Starbucks (though Starbucks isn't renovated). Holy, I could barely recognize this plaza! It went from a dead plaza to modern health and fitness plaza with gyms and studios at each corner and healthy eateries everywhere. Total heaven for fitness freaks. Barre 3 is located next to Whole Food, which is smack right in the middle. Went in and signed a waiver for my first time visit and got a tour. They have little cubbies and coat racks for your belongings, provide you towels, and even has a nursery for the moms. Once you walk into the class, pick up your towel and weights and find a station. Each couple of feet on the bar has a ball and I like that the floor isn't carpet like Pure Barre. You can either wear your non slip socks or go barefooted. While the class had more stretches that didn't require the bar as much as Pure Barre, the repetitions and pace were lot faster that you're sweating a lot more. Half way in, the instructor will give you mats and you'll do more stretches and finish with child pose. Overall, it worked out my thighs, arms, and abs. Once class is finished, you just put away the weights and the instructor will mop the mats. I guess the only thing that I'm nitpicky about was the mat being sort of wet from the previous class. I know it's been cleaned, but was still wet that it was sort of slippery. After class, you can grab something light like a smoothie from Smoothie King and call it a night. read more

Loved coming here for a class. I liked it so much I got the memorial day special 3 classes for $30. While not as good as some of the yoga class packages, this does workout in a way that I wouldn't get by myself. The teachers and owners are very helpful, the studio has tons of amenities for people including lockers, bathrooms, showers, a kids play area, and excellent very smart retail section. While not in the optimal location for me to get to during the week, I'm quite excited about the weekend classes. Hopefully they add some more in the early weekend afternoon soon. read more

Amazing! I'm trying to decide if Barre 3 is for me so I've attended a series of community classes. The attention to detail of the owner and instructor in training is superb. Everytime I come, they always greet me by name and that's very important to me. If you're thinking about trying a new style if class- go! read more

Love love love! I joined Barre3 about 2 months ago after trying out the studio on Class Pass. I am hooked! Every class is slightly different, so you never get bored. The instructors provide modifications so you can do what feels right for your body and challenge yourself when you feel up to it. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the studio has great amenities. My favorite class is Monday nights at 7 with Allie! It's a great way to kick off the week! read more

This is my favorite place to work out! It's always clean, the staff is super friendly, and the workouts are fantastic!

This review is long overdue! I was introduced to my first barre3 class during a Yelp Event at the studio. It was difficult but fun and I felt great afterwards. It took me awhile to return to the studio because (I will be honest) it's hard for me to get into the whole workout thing but I do understand the importance of finding something that works for you. Barre3 is my thing. The studio and its staff is so welcoming and non-intimidating which is very important. Every instructor I have had has been great and encouraging. I connect with Marti and Lisa the most though. The class offers many modifications based on fitness level, how much you want to challenge yourself, or to accommodate and discomfort or injuries. The goal is to work at a place that feels good to you and there is never any judgement if you modify. The instructors do much of the workout along side us which is motivating and they check in on everyone throughout the class. Also, I love the music! It keeps me pumped up during class. I haven't been in in about a week (stupid work travel) but I look forward to continuing my classes in about a week. Barre3 is a bit pricey but worth it. Invest in yourself and wellbeing. I can go on and on about how great this place is but you should come see for yourself. read more

I was really impressed by this place today during a free community class. The instructor was very professional, the place was very clean, the staff welcomed me when I came in, and they even have showers with shampoo and body wash. The workout is a moderate level and is accessible for all types of people. The class was all women aged 20 to 40 I would say. They had a playroom for children but I didn't quite know what it was for. If you have kids inquire about the play room. read more

I decided to try barre3 about 2 months after having my 3rd baby to help me lose weight/tone up. I'm not into exercising/working out AT ALL, but I absolutely love barre3. It's a great workout! I've been at it for about 4 months and have noticed a difference for sure! I call it my "breastfeeding and barre plan", haha. This studio is amazing! I love the personal notes that I get from the owner Lisa checking in on me. I usually take classes with Kelly and Emily and they are both great in their own way! Kelly's class is the perfect start to the week and I always feel strong yet relaxed and calm at the end of her class. Emily's class will kick your butt and make you feel like you lost a pound in an hour. I also use the childcare with Miss Meg and she is great- you can tell the kids really love her. SO thankful that they offer childcare here or I probably wouldn't be able to take classes! Sign up for barre3 at this studio! You will love it!! read more

I absolutely loved my class with Allie! She is the sweetest! I definitely will be back soon! I love that you all offer super early classes during the week, that really helps a lot with needing a consistent workout. Thank you so much for your follow up and your card. I would recommend this location to EVERYONE! read more

Love this place so much!! It's such an amazing way to get long, lean, and toned muscles. I love that everything is done in a neutral spine. I use to have severe back problems, but since doing barre3 for the past 3 years, I feel incredible! I cannot speak highly enough of this company and location. Barre3 is a fantastic 60 minute workout with great cardio and high reps. I was NEVER a morning person - let alone a morning workout person. Barre3 has changed that! I can't even start my day without barre3. It makes me feel so energized and ready to take on the world read more

I tried out some of their classes this week. Wow!!! Where did those muscles come from?!? My ass and legs are a little sore, but not in a bad way. The classes are intense, but you do them at your own level. You will see guys and girls (yes, I said guys) of all ages, shapes, and sizes. That don't shame you here which is great! If something is too difficult, the instructor always provides alternative stretches. The instructor in both classes checked in with each person during the class which was great. I have limited mobility (call me robocop) and I was given an alternative stretch to do. What to bring: water, an open mind. The fast music and instructor will bring on the motivation. The studio has lots of parking. They even have daycare for all you moms and dads who want to lose those extra lbs and become stronger. They have lockers and a water fountain that can fill water bottles. They offer classes throughout the day as early as 6am on some days. Classes are held 7 days a week too which is nice. I highly recommend trying it out. It's a mix of yoga, Pilates, and bar. I feel better after 2 classes than I have in a while. read more

Seriously, this is the best workout I never thought I'd LOVE so much. After the first class, I was hooked. BEST group of women. energy. attitudes. (and now friends!) The most welcoming and genuine studio (that I've EVER been to lol) The barre3 classes have definitely played a major role in my personal campaign to always be... Living my best life! ANDDD, if it wasn't enough that for once my mind feels clear, my body aligned and flowing... wait for it, I also lost 30 lbs (Its so weird to be 'that' person, but I'm cool with it- oh yes, and this 30 lbs lost was between August- December... 5 months, and yes I am eating hella normal lol trust me. I'm a teacher and sometimes you just gotta work with what you've got - ie: goldfish happen a LOT) Also, I am now having to be that liar that says, 'Idk, it just melted off!!', but it did. I know there are a lot of factors that play a role in my own personal weight gain/loss, but seriously it just melted off. Idk. I couldn't help but find a correlation between the sudden new sense of contentment in my mind/body, and all my cute pants fitting again! (I held on to some expensive suckers for years, knowing one day we'd we back!) Suddenly my core was feeling strong again, pants got looser, head got higher. * If you've never seen someone walk by with 'that' glow...Not of being skinny, but of actually feeling like themselves again. UGH! If you haven't, you're missing out. Lol I like catching myself in the mirror with it like, Damn, girl. you look happy AF! I had gained some weight during a long (multiply unhealthy) relationship, and wanted to really take better care of myself. Feel good about the way I saw myself. I started with a free class, then took advantage of the deals for new clients. I mean 2, maybe 3 times a week, if I could swing it. So with just a few classes throughout a month or two, I had already seen and felt changes that I was not willing to return, fairy godmother. So, go away. I'm keeping b3! I think what really made this 'click' for me, was that my MIND is in it. Therefore, I am all in it. I feel aligned with my personal goals, head clear and high. All focus on living MY very best life. You know, I guess this place is alriiiight. read more

This place is great high energy and friendly. I've taken barre at exhale (liked) pure barre (disliked) but barre3 has way better energy and connection with clients during class. No robotic scripted monologue but actual friendly instructors who do most of the class with you. This is super helpful when you are learning to see the instructor demo the movement, they do adjustments but get right back into the reps. You sweat and have fun and the music and microphone are a good sound level. I didn't know how much I loved barre3 until I tried a different barre studio and realized how much higher the standard and training are. They also clean your equipment for you after class(another barre studio just chucks wipes in the middle of the floor and has you clean up)they have cute merchandise for sale that is high quality brands like lululemon and W&P porter which I buy anyway. read more

My favorite part is the motivational phrases the trainers say during the workout that gives you that extra push!

I just love GiGis workout. No matter how many times you've been- she keeps you honest. Use those abs!

I have been to several barre studios and I always feel the best after leaving Barre3. It is a good mix of sweat and shakes. The instructors here are so friendly and inspiring! read more

I love barre3. I go 3 times/week and as a result I feel more energetic in my daily life and more comfortable with my body, which I had always struggled with and thought the only answer was to lose weight. Instead barre has helped tone my body and feel good in it. Also all the instructors whose classes I've attended are truly awesome (Jasmine, Alli, Marti, and Lisa). A great method for women especially and all ages and body types. read more

I have reviewed before with 5 stars but after coming here a dozen times and taking classes with several instructors I have to write an even more amazing review. I just finished my first class of 2019, their 3 year anniversary class and it was so motivating, welcoming, and warm. It felt like we were really cared for, like we were a family. Every instructor I have had has been extremely motivational, constantly checking on all of us and offering words of affirmation throughout class. This place is great for all genders and body types. The owner, Ms Lisa, is amazing. She is so kind, vibrant, and sweet. She remembers names and wants you to return. She was my favorite instructor and then I realized she owned the place! Lol. She's great, I hope she reads this. You earned yourself a lifetime member. Thank you Barre3 Druid Hills read more

Barre3 is awesome and all the instructors at this location are great. Very upbeat and attentive. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys aerobics and wants to challenge themselves! The environment is inviting and very comfortable. read more

Barre3 is the best barre-style studio in the Atlanta area. It's a great workout. You really feel it the next day. But they offer plenty of modifications for your individual comfort level or for injuries. The atmosphere is so welcoming and emphasizes encouragement and inclusiveness over intensity and exclusivity. This is part of what sets it apart from other studios in my opinion. You'll be welcomed, get a great workout with some awesome people, AND you can do it barefoot! (that's right, no need to pay $15 for sticky hospital socks). All the instructors are great but Allie is really above and beyond. Definitely recommend doing your first class with her. read more

I came in to test it out after a knee injury sidelined me from running. I thought "at least I'll get some strength even though no cardio". It turns out there's a nice portion of cardio for the warmup (all no impact) and with the many modifications and options you pretty much get to dial it as low or as high as you want. I have definitely worked hard and broken a sweat each time I've been. Even if you're already pretty fit, chances are these are moves you haven't done lately (or at all) so you will be challenged. I love that each session is a little different so the moves and combinations keep it interesting and fun and the time flies by. And music, of course. The instructors give lots of options, as I mentioned, and they check on you during class and have quick, smooth transitions from segment to segment. We do a short cardio warmup, body weight moves like squats and pliés, great abs segment with a small soft ball supporting you so your core is in the right position to work the whole time, resistance bands, and small hand weights -- any combination of these things. I highly recommend this workout and this location in particular because the instructors are motivating and friendly, as well as great role models in form and fitness. I think this would be a great place to start your fitness routine, and it's also a great place to enhance your existing one with strength and toning that will challenge you! Bonus: childcare area and showers! read more

After taking about a dozen barre classes at other studios, mostly Pure Barre, I thought that barre wasn't for me. That all changed after attending classes at Barre3. Here is what I didn't like at other studios: -There aren't any intro classes, the instructors use random terms that I didn't know the meaning of, you are supposed to look straight ahead but I never knew the moves they were referring to and they were only demonstrated for a few seconds. -Modifications instructors offered almost always made the exercise more challenging but it felt like I was left stranded when the exercise was too hard. -Those darn socks make it so hard to do some of the exercises and the carpet often makes it worse. -Why aren't there any showers?!? Am I the only one that sweats during barre classes? -Atmosphere isn't friendly. Experience always felt like torture from start to finish. Would dread class and be relieved to be done. Here is why I fell in love with Barre3: -Instructors introduce themselves before class and check in about how you are feeling. You have the opportunity to tell them about any injuries in private. The instructors check in with each student at least twice during class so you can ask questions or for modifications. -The instructors offer multiple modifications to make exercises more or less challenging for each and every exercise. They support you if you need a break and push you if you need that instead. -You don't have to wear socks in class and their wooden floors make it easy to do planks and push ups. -Barre3 has showers with all the toiletries you need. Perfect for morning classes before work. -Atmosphere is warm and inviting and I always look forward to class and feel great after. I attend this studio via ClassPass and, while package pricing is comparable to other studios in town, I just don't think I would be able to fit this in the budget otherwise. Definitely check out Barre3 Druid Hills! It is such a great studio! read more

This place is AMAMZING! Let me first start with Lisa. This is not just a business owner but a woman who is passionate about what she does, stands behind her workout (she took a class i was in the first week and teaches as well) and cares for her clients. From the first conversation she was extremely helpful and understanding of my singlemother childcare situation. I have yet to walk into Barre3 without her greeting me with a huge smile and letting me know how glad she is to see me. SHE is awesome. The staff is amazing!!! Each instructor makes it a point to say hi, ask if you have any health issues and ensures you are comfortable in the class. The best part...they are doing the class side by side with you! No standing around directing, they are showing you every movement, setting the pace and shaky legged right along side you. I lift **heavy** weights and thought i would breeze through this class...NOPE! These workouts reach parts of your body you didnt know you could workout and have even the most experienced body builders shaking by the end of class. Its a low impact 60 minute muscle burn!and with my heart rate monitor reading between 570 and 600 calories burned a session with 40 minuted of pure fat burn, im adddicted!! I cant say enough good things about this place!!! read more
