You know those places that try to maximize profit in every possible way except actually delivering a great experience? This is one of them. You walk into a reception area lit brighter than a cafeteria. Nothing says relaxation like feeling like you're about to take an exam. For a $220 massage, your pre-service options are the hammam or sauna, which is very limited for the price. No steam room or jacuzzi. The robes are very comfortable, and the locker room is nice. Just be prepared to parade past a full gym in your robe on your way to unwind. I booked the Flow massage, which is supposed to be medium pressure. Instead, it felt like I was being buffed like a Camry rather than actually massaged. It came across more freestyle than intentional. I thought maybe it was just me, but both of my sisters had the exact same experience. Then comes the automatic gratuity, bringing the total to $260 for a massage that didn't deliver. I love the people that work here! Unfortunately as of late, since the SALT addition, they are really struggling with credit card charges, firing favorite trainers for "not being of brand", and keeping the place clean and sanitary. The credit card charges are tricky - they will charge for missed classes when you are in attendence - they will randomlly make charges a made a month later and it's a brutal fight of their word vs yours to get your money back. You have to stay consistant with emails and phone calls. They really work their employees to the bone, sweet folks at the front desk are running ragged. It's close to where I live, and I don't want to drive - but if there was another place nearby, I'd switch in a heart beat. read more

BEWARE I signed up for the spa membership because it was supposedly cheaper and thought, yas self-care queen! But then I got a new job and my schedule doesn't allow for me to schelp 45 mins to get here, in the middle of the day because the availability for treatments seems to be very limited so I needed to cancel. Tried calling, no one answered. Finally got a hold of someone and they told me I'd have to come in to cancel. That's an issue. Fought to get them to accept an email written form. Have resent it three times now and for some reason they're unable to view it. I send email attachments literally all day long. Unless it's their first day on earth, they're just being shady. On top of that, it's pulling teeth to even get them to reply to say "your cancellation isnt accepted." Baloney. Zero customer service from the front desk/mgmt. Looks like I'm not alone in this experience either from other similar reviewers. Wish I'd read these warnings before I got into this mess! We paid $480 for 2 massages. 1. the massage rooms were freezing 2. the massage bed were not heated 3. Sheets on the massage bed did not seem clean 4. blankets were hardly heated 5. Waldorf, Ritz and other hotels offer refreshment and fruited drinks but this place barely offered machine water 6. Co- ed Sauna was uncomfortable for both sexes... 7. The $480 we were informed were for light massages only and light they were. If you wanted anything more it was another $25. 8. Lastly the cream they used for the massages were freezing cold. Went to a yoga class using Class Pass. The class was really good. I love that they have mats people can borrow and they have the props people will need. Also really liked the music of the class. I got there right when class about to start, but the person in the reception desk just said studio to one side and bathroom to other. Didn't explain where to get water. The studio is literally located inside the hotel, which is new to me, but that's nor here or there. So you'll have to go through the hotel lobby and everything to get to the studio. At least the valet parking people were nice and explained I had to take the visitor's elevator to the seventh floor. I believe they validate, but I didn't know this so I asked for a ride. Parking wasn't that clear to me when I got there, just saw a big fence when I was being dropped off. In summary, class was great, but would go somewhere else for location purposes. read more

Exhale has lovely facilities although not as extensive as same priced spas in Vegas with more amenities. So, although it's nice I wouldn't go out of my way to get a spa treatment here. Located inside of Loews hotel, you have to park in the deck on 11th street I believe. They validate parking for 3 hours so keep that in mind if your booking a longer service and want relax in the hammam or sauna. The staffers were friendly and showed me around and the locker and shower rooms were clean. It'd be nice to have more seating in the locker room, especially if you're not the only person in there. Oh and, there was no soap to wash your hand in the bathroom??? Just looked like face wash which I used, but still. They had a few snacks, water, and tea in the lounge area where you wait for your therapist. No honey for the nice tea selection. Overall, spa treatments are very subjective but I was happy with my 90 minute massage. The therapist listened to me on the pressure liked and my problem area. read more

I attended a Sunday night chill yoga session. It was great because of all of the tools provided. i.e. pillows, yoga traps, balls, and blocks. it was a relaxing non-competitive stretch class. the instructor had a very gentle voice and I felt free to flow at my level. the class was in a large room and after we were provided with mat cleaner. an added plus of taking classes at the spa is the use of the locker room which includes a very clean shower area and bathrooms. Been coming to this studio for a while now. They offer all different styles of yoga, barre, and HIIT classes. So far I've been to yoga and the HIIT classes and I really enjoyed them! The facilities are super clean and maintained very well. The staff are super nice and materials are usually always provided. They have a cold/hot water dispenser at the end of the hallway. Overall I always enjoy my time here and so far all the instructors are very high quality and great!! read more

I received a gift card for this spa from a friend. I was excited to try out what I thought would be a top notch spa. I made reservations for a Saturday morning massage a few days prior to my visit. First thought when I called: the staff is a little unprofessional. The staff was having a conversation with me as well as patrons that were checking in at the gym. She eventually decided to take my number and call me back to complete the booking. After making the reservation I received an email requesting that I complete a form as well as instructions on where to park. The instructions were very helpful. I appreciate the fact that they do validate for 2 hours. When I checked in I was told to go into the locker room and that I would find lockers, a robe and sandals for my use. I found a locker and unfortunately the one I picked did not include instructions on the inside. The regular patrons were helpful in helping me with the lock and showing me where I can find the slippers. I walked into the waiting area for the spa. No one offered me any tea while I waited. Lucky for me, I had read some reviews mentioning that tea was available. They had 3 options. The reason for my below average review: my massage was nothing like I expectedly I love self care and spend a lot of time in spas. This experience was the most expensive one that I have indulged in and honestly my least favorite. The massage therapist did not ask me any questions prior to providing services. I am accustomed to advising the type of pressure that I like as well as any problem areas that could use some extra attention. The hour long massage was very unsatisfying because the therapist just did what she wanted to do. Following the massage I was looking for the therapist to offer me liquids of some sort. I received no instruction and no offer of anything! Well, she did let me know that I could check out the sauna, hammam, and steam room. The crazy thing is prior to visiting this spa I had said to myself that if I lived closer I would become a member. It appears that for $200 per month you can get unlimited access to classes, the gym and 1 massage a month. After experiencing the spa, I don't feel that I am missing out on anything. This spa is by no means what I would consider luxury. There are several other places at half the cost that I would recommend in the city. read more

At one point, the masseuse was massaging me with only 1 hand (???) something I've never experienced before, and CERTAINLY not what I'd expect when paying over $200 per hour. Then - they had the audacity to pull a fast one, and make one of our massages MORE EXPENSIVE than the other one at checkout. I'm sorry...doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of a couples massage PRICING PACKAGE??? I called the facility 3x, and emailed the manager 3x - with absolute crickets to show for it. I wanted to love this place, since I live so close, but instead - I'll be steering VERY clear. PS - I've also taken a few workout classes here, which are supremely overpriced for the quality of instruction/cleanliness of the facility - and the showers often don't have hot water. Came here through classpass for the Tuesday Exhale Chill Yoga class with Maggie Fike, and it was great! The main room we were in was very spacious, relaxing, and clean. Maggie was phenomenal as well and walked around individually to each class attendee and asked if we have any areas that we'd like to focus on, I told her that from sitting working for hours in the day, my lower back can feel a bit tight sometimes. She incorporated each individual's problem area into our stretching and relaxation class, and I really enjoyed it! I felt very comfortable in there and was introduced to new stretches I hadn't done before. I'd love to come back soon and highly recommend! read more

Took my first class (power yoga) at Exhale Atlanta and I loved the class. Maggie was a motivating and friendly instructor who actually took the time to get to know our names and watch our form during the class. Looking forward to my next class session! Front desk: staff seems kind of new - I didn't really get a walking tour when I arrived. They showed me the barre room, but that was it. Would have appreciated some pointers for the lockers, but thankfully a member was able to tell me how those worked. And I gave myself a tour by walking around. After class, they were very friendly and I had an interaction closer to what I was expecting when I initially walked in. Covid adaptations: instructors are required to wear masks, but members are not. I think they should require proof that members are fully vaccinated before allowing people to go maskless - for the safety of the members, but also the staff read more

I want to be fair with the therapists and front desk, all of whom I think are good. All therapists I worked with provided quality service. The front desk people are also nice and professional. But, be very careful that the management and owners. Multiple times during the past half year the facility was closed without proper communication. When I walked into the closed facility, a few others were there, upset, too. But the membership fees continued to be charged (they only pass "one credit" to the next month with a delay). After I handed in a termination agreement for 50 (fifty days), they keep charging me two more membership fees. Once you are in, you cannot get rid of them! In the second time, they used a credit card that I used to purchase something to charge my membership fee, after I clearly, explicitly told them do not use it for anything other than the purchase I made--this is more than unprofessional but dishonest. I handed in a form, I talked to the front desk, and I called in to say I want to cancel, cancel, cancel, everybody said "only the manger can do it." I wasted so much time in getting out of my membership it is no longer enjoyable. I want to reiterate that I appreciate the good work of the therapists and the onsite staff, but be very careful with the management. If you just want to go and have a good time, it should be fine. Summary: i use Classpass and I loved it. My top reasons for loving it is the amenities available, the quality of workout classes and the overall vibe. Ambience/service: Exhale is tucked in the Lowe's hotel. We all know Lowe's is a top notch hotel, so you can picture the ambience at exhale. You walk in and are welcomed by smiling, down to earth, super nice staff. They greet you and can give you a tour if you're new. The staff is super nice and charming. Then you walk through the "classroom hall" (because they have classes and it's a hall) and there are workout gears (lululemon) available for sale. The decor is so lavish. Review: 8 credits per class (for class pass users) otherwise approx $100 per month for unlimited class. - the amenities : it's THE best feature. When I opted for Classpass and left my LA fitness membership, I regretted the amenities. But now I'm even happier cause the amenities at Exhale is THE BEST. One, there are products like lotion, hair dryer, hair spray and everything you can think of is available in the locker room. The quality of the or Odicts are too quality. There are even bath robes and rubber sandals and soft cotton towels for use. The showers have Rain heads and a great pressure. There's a bit of space in front of the showers for you to wipe yourself dry and all. Then there's a steam room. It is well lit and no ice tIles and the steam gets intense. I'm not joking when I say I love it! - the classes: I did the barre class and let me brag about the instructors. Maggie, Brittany and Tiffany led the class I trIed. All 3 of them are very well knowledgeable and experienced in teaching. I could tell by the way they fixed our postures and knew all the mistakes everyone makes. The instructors know your name and they will acknowledge you when you do well and will fix your posture. I'm telling you, i had a great experience. The music flows well with the workout rhythm. - other facilities : they have Turkish tea towels to wipe your bullet size sweats. I already described the stuff in the bathroom. My experience here is based on having attended a few classes through ClassPass including yoga and HIIT. The parking is surprisingly easy for Midtown and they offer 3 hours of validation. You do have to go down an elevator to the Loew's hotel lobby and then go up another elevator which might be a bit confusing at first. The quality of the classes has been very good! I especially enjoyed yoga with Brianna and HIIT with Alyson. They provide yoga mats and all of the equipment and the entire studio is very clean and elegant appearing. The ladies at the front desk are very attentive, however on one of the days she couldn't find my name to check me in for a ClassPass class. Y'all, welcome to my new obsession. I'm going to attempt making this review short, sweet, and succinct, because I can rave about Exhale all day. Anyone that knows me knows I am obsessed with fitness as much as food. I can't decide which one I cannot live without. Having said that, the fitness classes offered here are an absolute dream. Barre is a must--Briffany (Briana and Tiffany) and Carly are the instructors I typically plan my schedule around just for their barre classes. Believe it. They also offer yoga, HIIT, cardio, core circuit, cardio/barre, cycle. Membership includes UNLIMITED fitness classes so it's like having a fitness buffet. You really can't go wrong with any class you choose. I've taken most of my friends/fitness instructor GFs to this facility through ClassPass or my annual member perks (5 guest passes) and they have all loved it. Y'all may know the infamous Jonathan T. who was our rockin' CM back in the day (miss you brother, come back to HOTlanta soon pleeeease), who also came to this studio for yoga, although, should have brought him to barre so he can experience my true addiction. They validate parking up to 3 hours which is a MAJOR perk, being situated in Midtown and all (Loews hotel specifically). The amenities are extravagant. Steam sauna, fully decked out showers, robes, shower shoes, towels, the works? Count me in. I would live here if I could. Y'all think I'm joking. I'm not. So disappointed in the current exhale. I was a member for about 4 years off and on in the past 10 years and wow, this year I am shocked at how bad everything is. It is nothing like the Exhale quality that I've known over the years... the steam sauna has been broken more than it's worked. I've driven down just to use the steam sauna only to have the front desk workers tell me that they've turned the steam sauna off and on a few times yet no steam comes out, after waiting 30 min. There's mold in the sauna... and sometimes it smells like wet dog- esp when it's not steamy... the drains look the same they did weeks ago. The hammam smelled like dead fish... trash in womens lockers are overflowing. The one shower stall goes from scalding hot to freezing cold. At any time, you could be showering and have an empty bottle of shampoo or the entire bottle of conditioner not even there. The drains were backing up and water was running out into the main area. The sinks haven't been wiped out in weeks. The floors have hair and trash on them. I used to walk barefoot because an attendant would walk around cleaning the floors and clean the showers after each use and you can't even find someone who walks through the womens locker room that works here, let alone who is cleaning up. Just overall... disappointed. Would never recommend. It's like Anytime Fitness quality that charges 4 times the price. read more
