After a year and a half of sweat class, I can verify that I am faster runner with more endurance even in my 50s! Keeping up with the younger generation keeps me fit and young! I am impressed with each and every instructor who puts their heart and so in each class. Thank you for your assistance in my fitness and wellness journey. My VO2 is outstanding like a teenager. Thank you, Reid, Lauren, McKenna, and Haaris! I appreciate the front desk staff Laney, and the crew for helping me when I accidentally get ticketed at PCM.

Stopped in for an 8:30AM class on a beautiful Wednesday with my two friends and we had a blast! My friends and I love trying new work out classes together and SweatEXT caught our attention next! We came, we saw, and we SWEAT! My goodness, I still can't believe I was able to sweat that much in a 50 minute session! When we walked into the class room, it was already hot but the coach said it was only going to get HOTTER--we couldn't believe it! But, we made it through! It was tough overall because I haven't been working out much but I was still able to see it through. Great experience in Ponce City Market area, I will definitely be back!

If you want to try accessible mat Pilates and you want to get a good sweat, this places is great! I will say, it gets pretty hot and the workout gets intense, but you feel amazing after!

This was a good sweat but INTENSE AF . There is parking right outside of the door and they do validate your parking inside if you attend a class, which is super nice. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by warm and helpful staff. They give you a complimentary towel for your workout. It's best to use it to cover your mat to absorb the river of sweat that'll pour off you. You should get 2 towels, one for your mat and one to wipe off your body. Then, they'll walk to the locker area, which is immediately right outside of the workout studio room. Your mat will already be clean, in place and ready for you, you just have to pick one. Get there about 10 minutes to make sure you get the mat you want. I think they fit about 10-12 persons in the room per class. Please bring water in an insulated cup and make sure it's cold, you'll need it. The class is about 45 minutes of consistent movement in a humid environment. I'd def go back again one day. Alexis was a top notch trainer.

I took a Sunday class with Victoria, the music was energizing and the pace of the class was great. She kicked my butt and worked every muscle but it was so worth it. She also was adamant about ensuring everyone felt comfortable so it was okay to step outside if it became too hot inside the studio for anyone or if we needed to take a water break at any time. I want to say this was my first in-person class since the pandemic so I was intimidated (to say the least) and it felt so great. The location is great, lots of places to eat around and even walk around and maybe do a little shopping after the class. I walked out of there drenched in sweat and felt ready to tackle the rest of the day. This location has lockers, a few showers, and everything was clean and sanitized. Highly recommend it and am looking forward to another class.

Great experience at 8am Saturday Pilates!! The playlist was so good and the instructor was very knowledgeable. Will definitely get your sweat on so prepare for an intense session. They validate your parking at ponce city market as well which was great!

Active Sol Yoga is located in Buckhead on Bennett Street, which is right off Peachtree St. If you were familiar with Frank Ski's Restaurant & Lounge, then that's the street you turn in on to get there. Otherwise, you might easily pass the street since the street sign is a bit obscured. Once you turn onto Bennett, you drive almost all the way to the end of the street but take a left onto short street and the studio is located at the building at the top of the street. Hope that makes sense. I do like that it's away from the hustle & bustle of Peachtree Street. Upon arriving you'll see some benches on the right, a window (checking in) to the left and then an open area with cubbies to put your things in, apparel for sale and a clean restroom. They have too big, open studios with lots of natural light. Always a plus! Krishaunda lead our session. She started us with Vinyasa flow and ended our last 20 minutes with Restorative yoga. She was very nice. And I liked that she went around the class and helped to guide us into positions correctly. I was (& still am) pretty relaxed. Honestly could've stayed in shavasana pose for 15 more minutes. Or an hour or so. Lol.

All of the instructors are fabulous, but I particularly love Katie and Yochai's classes. The atmosphere is very nonjudgmental and there is a great variety in classes. The class was for beginners and was ran by our Yoga instructor Doug. Very knowledgeable guy who was great at helping both experienced and brand new (ahem, me) yoga enthusiasts get the best out of their experience. The room is upstairs, clean with wooden floors and although your own yoga mat and towels are recommended, they provide both to you for your first visit. Classes go for about 90 minutes, you'll sweat, and if there's a stretch you can't do, the instructor comes over to either fix you posture, or offer assistance in the form of extra blocks, etc. Located off of Waddell St, Yoga Samadhi has a private gravel lot that can get full, but we found parking. Getting in and out of this place was no problem, and being close to Atlanta, it's a must try if you have even the slightest interest in Yoga. Good group of people who really are focused on delivering a great yoga experience.

I might have to move to Virginia Highland now with my mat bag and tight pants. ::shudder:: But in all reality, this place rocks. I was a total yoga virgin and they welcomed me with open arms. The fact that your first class is free is just a cherry on top of the whole stretching and planking and namaste-ing experience. I've only been in the upstairs studio, which is clean, bright, and surprisingly cool given the hellish temperatures outside. They have plenty of blankets and bolsters to help you out if you need it, as well. My class was with Doug and he was great: didn't move too fast but wasn't painfully slow, always providing advice for how to make a move easier or more difficult. He was also always sure to give repeat instructions on when to inhale vs exhale: the thing I found most difficult. Plus, he complimented me at the end of the class, and yes, flattery will get you everywhere with me. I'm planning on purchasing a package dealio in the future and looking forward to repeat visits to Yoga Samadhi. I'm so happy to have it nearby, and so thankful to Katie W for convincing me to come along. My core muscles are much the better for it!
