If you're going to use this laundromat DON"T go Wednesday afternoons/evenings! The lady that works is named MERCEDES - short dominican lady that can't speak English; lied to me when I asked for her name & told me her name was JUANA. She yells at people & curses at them in Spanish (I'm bilingual so I know), and I usually mind my own but I will put you on blast if you try to get one up on me. I came in at 7:25 pm during a weeknight (M-Thursday last wash is at 7:30 pm) and this employee proceeded to tell me I couldn't use the machine I was placing clothes in b/c it would take 40 minutes. Even after I told her several times I wasn't drying those clothes she continued - mind you they close at 9:00 pm - so if I wanted to wash & dry I would've had enough time to do both. I would've never made this review if it wouldn't have been that I discovered she lied to me about her name! She obviously knew she was doing something she is NOT allowed to do to customers & thought that by giving a fake name I wouldn't find out! Now if I could give another review for the other employees who are FANTASTIC - Nicole & Noemi - they deserve 5 STARS!!!! Nicole & Noemi are always so helpful, kind, generous with advice and truly sweet. Nicole & Noemi know what it is to provide good customer service in a very uncomfortable environment & even joke & laugh with customers. So go wash on the days Nicole or Noemi are working - any day that's NOT Wednesday afternoon/evening & just stay away from Juana/Mercedes or whatever the liar wants to call herself.

I should've known better than to get alterations done at a dry cleaner. Even during the…read moreconsultation, it was clear they weren't confident in what they were doing--and I regret not trusting my gut. OXXO completely butchered my dress. I had to take it to a proper tailor to fix the damage, and they were shocked at how badly it was handled. Not only did it still fit poorly, but so many things were done incorrectly. It ended up costing far more than I'd planned. They might be fine for dry cleaning, but absolutely do not trust them with alterations if you care about the outcome.

I've brought my coats to other…read moredry cleaners, and when they were returned to me, they looked as though nothing was done to them (except they smelled better). At Oxxo my coats were returned with no more cat hair, lint, or smell. What I like the most is that they have sewing services as well. I needed the buttons in a pair of work pants and one coat replaced, and the pricing was very affordable. I was happy with the quality of the sewing and the button choices for both items. It's nice to have a one stop shop for my clothing. I will definitely return for more dry cleaning needs.

In addition to the dry cleaning I have also used the alterations service and everything was excellent. Most recently, I took in some Nike tennis shorts that were practically new. They were all identical except for the color but, for some reason, every pair had a faulty zipper that needed to be replaced. It was cheaper to get new zippers rather than replace the shorts at $70 a pop. As usual, it was an excellent job, however, I was blown away that not only did they replace the zippers but they matched all the varying colors perfectly. I had even said not to worry about matching the colors because you can't see the zipper and some of the colors were not easy to match. It took a little more time but going the extra mile was totally worth it!

I went to pick up the rest of my clothing and there it was, a big gaping hole in the front center of my shirt. They didn't apologize or anything, and to make matters worse they were about to charge me for the shirt! I asked the woman behind the counter if she was about to charge me for the shirt and she said she had to call the owner, who was in the back. The owner came out and thankfully he took off the charge for the shirt but didn't say anything about making things right, after they destroyed a $150 silk polo shirt. Will never use these people again, and will make sure everyone I know and even don't know hears about this.
