At first, I thought they were great, I had a nice fella and he did work hard to give me good service. But less than 2 days later, a nail on each hand was chipped. I went back in because never has it went bad that quick. When I went back, his sister took over and with petty attitude agreed to fix my nails. I told her I also was not crazy with the color of red on the tips and told her the number of the color I had picked out and since it had chipped so quickly, I told her I would like to have the whole nails polished with one color. She stared at me like ice so I said, " oh you will fix but only with the tips again and in the same color? ". She then nodded smugly. I also told her he did not paint the tips with the correct color of red that I had chosen 082 and I remembered the number I had picked and told her. She came back with a completely different color red , not anything like the one I had originally picked. I told her I wanted a dark red, but not a bright red, and immediately that's what she presented to me, bright red. She had so much cold attitude, I just said " ok", at this point I just wanted it fixed and to leave and no longer wanted to use this as my salon. So she did it with attitude, and nudging, and even threw in an insult about taking my nails out of the dryer to quick. I spent $ 100 dollars there. Well again, 2 days later and it's chipped again before Christmas. I don't like service with ugly attitude so I will not return or recommend this place. Today was my first visit to Elegant Nails Salon. It was fantastic. I had a 10am appointment. I was welcomed into the salon immediately and was helped right away. I needed an acrylic fill with gel polish. My nail technician, Jimmy, who did a great job. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The salon is neat and clean, with lots of stations. It was a very pleasant experience, with professional and kind staff to help you. I loved it and I have already booked another appointment. read more

I'm visiting from Boston and needed my nails done. I stopped in and it was very busy. They found a time a lot for me the same day. The pedi chairs are THE BEST I've ever used. My pedi was done right start to finish. My pedi technician was very nice and professional. My mani was also done with perfection, he my mani technician was sooo funny it made the visit even better. I have tried at least 5 nail salons in this area. They range from MEH to just terrible. A friend suggested I try Elegant nails. I will NEVER go anywhere else again! My nails are PERFECT and they can make just about any design imaginable! My pedicure was fantastic, too! Their prices are reasonable and the service was fantastic! FINALLY my nails are smooth, just the right length and gorgeous! The salon is incredibly clean. The pedicure chairs are beautiful and comfortable and they use plastic liners. Under new owner and LOVED the way they did my nail, but use UV light gel for top coat. It tends to peel off and had to have it repaired. When I went into have them redone, I asked them if they had anything other top coat as SNS and other power manufacturer's do not recommend UV. I was promptly told VERY loudly that I didn't know what I was talking and I could do it myself if I wanted that. A woman offered to use appropriate top coat so I let her start. I voiced that I was not happy about being told I was wrong and to do it myself, showing her the website I was referring to. She assured me "He didn't mean it that way." He promptly stood up and loudly shook his head like I was an idiot and again, very loudly, told me to do it myself. I left. read more

I was looking for a nice place to take my aunt for a treat to have a manicure and pedicure. We were super happy they were able to take us but in hindsight they probably should have turned us away as they were very busy. The staff was very pleasant and their massage chairs are very nice. My aunt enjoyed her pedicure and a massage. But that was about as much as we enjoyed. Unfortunately due to them being so busy they were not able to provide me with a pedicure, even though they were insisting it was OK they had a lineup of people who were waiting for their appointments to begin. So I asked for a polish change on my toes and a manicure. I also requested that my manicurist not remove too much of the cuticle so instead she removed almost nothing, Leaving visibly dead skin surrounding my nail bed.It was like just a polish change on my hands. I also did not receive I hand massage, the best part of a manicure! But the worst thing and the reason why am leaving this review, is because both of our nails the polish started chipping within 36 hours. It has now been four days and this is what my nails look like. Horrible!!! Not only did I leave with bleeding cuticles on two fingers but I asked for SNS- They assured me they knew how to do it..... WRONG!! They dipped my nails twice then put top coat! The standard way for SNS is dipping the nails several times- then using the grinder to smooth and shape - THEN!!! Top coat is applied. Needless to say my nails looked like sand paper, not forgetting the fact I was cut and bleeding. I didn't even want to ask them to correct them at that point- I just wanted to leave. All I asked for was to get gel coat nail polish. The whole time they guy doing my nails kept pushing me to get more stuff done. He rushed through doing my nails and even scratched off the polish a few times. I left with scuffs on my nails and- not a day later- the nail polish already came off two of my fingers!! Got a chance to get a pedicure by hellen. She was fantastic. As a male who get his pedicures done wherever he goes because good hygienes is always a good thing for men! LOL this place is so fucked up. My friend gets their eyebrows done here so I came with him months back. Mind you every time this is done by the same woman, anyways so the first and second time I got the eyebrow wax it was great. 3 times after became worse and worse. The last time I let these people touch my brows they took almost half an eyebrow off it took 4 months to get my eyebrows looking back to normal after that. I have very nice brows that never in my life did I have to fill them in until that one time. Today my boyfriend went to get his hair cut at MVP right next to here, I decided well I need a pedi, they can't fuck that up I guess I'll try. They first told me a 10 minute wait it turned into 20 minutes. I'm already annoyed so finally they start my water the lady finally comes and she takes her utensils AND WASHES THEM IN THE SINK AFTER USING THEM ON SOMEONE ELSE SCRUBBING THEM WITH THE BRUSH THEY HAVE SITTING IN THAT BLUE SANI WATER. are you kidding me right now ? So I said uh are those sterilized? The woman who owns the place points to the sink and said yeah she just washes them. I said no way. I'm saying to myself WHAT IF THAT PERSON HAS A BLOOD BORNE DISEASE????I was about to get up, wet feet and all and walk out. The woman tells her something so she gets up and goes to the machine and picks out a new set. I about lost my mind. The entire time during my pedi they were talking, she would stop in between my pedi and tap on my foot while talking to the point of annoyance. Got up about 2 times to do something else. I swear to God I'm not even up to getting the polish out on yet & I already know I'm never coming back here a day in my life. Went here on my break. They were trying to talk me out of what I wanted. Then I told her I wanted them shorter because of work. She kept laughing at me. She kept looking at me weird. And was telling me it's so slow. No one Ever comes in. I seriously felt so uncomfortable. Thought she was going to drag me in the back and kill me. I told her I needed to be back to work in 20 minutes and she said I finish when I finish..... and proceeded to be super slow and stop doing my nails to tell me stuff. Like hello I said I needed to go back to work. Horrible place. And it smelt like crap. Like poop literally. Never will I go back. They should change the name. Defiantly not elegant. read more

Under new management - No and Kim are fabulous- the entire shop has been redone and is so elegant-- lives up to its name. I am so surprised this business is open and operating. Terrible job on my nails. I showed a pic and asked if they could do what the picture showed and he said, yes. the color was wrong, paint on skin, uneven nails and not customer friendly. When asked to fix these problems he got an attitude and passed me on to someone else. I'm going back today to either get the money that's left on card or nails done again. I do not recommend coming here, they did really bad nails and the acrylic is very easy to break.

I went to "Elegant Nails" today to get my nails done because the salon that I usually go to (Glory Nails) was closed. I sit and wait on the couch for over an hour until one of the men working calls me over to sit down where they do the nails. I show him a picture of what I want done which were these beautiful almond shaped claws that my friend had recently gotten at Ivy nails. So he starts working and as he is sanding down the nail, he's not being very gentle at all, in fact, he made me bleed on my pinky finger. Some of the times I had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't say anything about how rough he was being. After he was all finished with the nails, i looked at them and thought "This is not what i wanted at all" Instead of the beautiful, almond shaped claws, he gave me uneven, ovalish, ugly looking nails and the paint job was awful! After we had already paid and walked out, I showed her my mother what he had done and it was so awful that she stormed back into the place and had them redo the paint job, even after the lady finished redoing it, it was still crappy!
