I'm so incredibly happy to have found this place. I had been looking for a manicurist who understood how to do vintage styles on nails, and after 4 attempts at other places who totally screwed it up, I didn't get my nails done for a full year! Then, Elegance Nails was recommended to me, so I gave it a try. $25 later, I had a full set of PERFECT vintage style half-moons. Peter did my nails. and I will never go anywhere else. Peter always does my acrylics and I've never been disappointed. He does a great job and I always get exactly what I want. The prices are great and I don't usually have to wait very long if I call ahead. They don't seem to take very formal appointments (as far as I can tell), but they manage to get you in close to when you were supposed to be seen (which is great for acrylics since the wait can be long). The place is small and not extremely impressive, but it works well. If you are into places that make you feel ridiculously pampered, this isn't for you. I've gone to places that are more pampering and it's not worth paying double the price for a lower quality nail job (one of my nails broke within a week when I went somewhere else). They have a nice selection of colors and they are very friendly about your requests. They also do waxing, which I got my eyebrows done a few times there and it's been great results. My nails from here are gorgeous. But looking at the facility they brushed my nail clippings onto the ground, which was poorly swept with everyone else's nail trimmings. If you are looking for a good hand or foot massage this is not your place. read more

this is my new favorite spot! so close to my house and such a friendly staff. One thing I noticed was how quick they were ! I liked it so much I went twice in 1 week and got 3 services done: mani/pedi , and waxing. the 2nd time I brought my friend and she had her baby with her so they did her mani/pedi so promptly! the prices are super good so be sure to tip them well! Just got my nails done here for the first time. The salon is easy to find right across the street from cvs. Parking is kinda small but ok, the place isn't all that but they do a good job. Jenny took me first started on my nails and Peter finished it. Peter is super nice, smiles a lot, and did a great job with my nails very fast. I ended up in Northridge waiting for my daughter during a 3 hour cheer practice and in need of a gel fill and pedicure. Two other salons were unable to take me, but Elegance Nails was able to fit me in with a minimal wait. I was a little hesitant because it's small and people kind of seemed on top of each other because it was so crowded. The staff was super friendly, efficient and did a fabulous job. I'm so in love with the outcome. Black gel with a glitter navy blue overlay makes my nails look like a starry sky. It was less expensive than I normally pay. I wish I lived closer - they would have a new regular customer. read more

The services are ok for their prices, wish they had a bigger space and remodeled it a bit because it is quite old and dusty. The owners need to update their nail color selection and their gel manis aren't worth the extra price, I got mine done and they peeled off a few days later. read more

The ladies were fabulous with the girls! I brought in my friends very young daughters who I wanted to have treated like princesses and they were! The ladies were great very gentle and took good care of these two princesses! Only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the space they have so many stations and clients it's hard to get around.. I ended up not doing my pedicure. I was looking for a location to do a gel pedicure to kill time, while my car was getting cleaned. I entered into the Elegance Nails and noticed there was only one person getting their nails done. When I looked to my left, one of the techs was laid out on the couch and was just staring at me, not to friendly. Finally someone asked me what I was looking to do and I mentioned I was looking to get a Gel Pedicure. They only had 2-3 pedicure seating stations, which one of the techs was sitting on the chair with her bare-feet resting on the bowl...but I was asked to sit over at a table. As I walked over to the chair at the table, I noticed there was some twisted tissue they would use to separate the toes on the chair. I sat at the edge of the chair and noticed nail clippings and dust on the seating in front of me, where (I assume) the tech would be seating and I'm hoping wasn't going to have my feet touch. The place wasn't looking to clean and I was concerned about doing my nails in that environment and how their sterilization of their tools would be. I felt bad, but I told them that I changed my mind and ended up leaving. read more

Horrible customer service I waited over 25 minutes for them to add a top coat to a nail I slightly messed the paint job on they were not happy to fix it and I sat waiting 25 minutes to get a gloss over it. There was one other customer in the whole place but they made me wait for messing up the paint that wasn't all that great anyway. Not going back. read more

Made frequent visits to this salon for my acrylic fills mostly because of the prices and the technician Peter. He always did a pretty good job with my nails and I would leave pretty satisfied up until recently. The last two times I went I ended up being helped by his wife (not quite sure what her name is), and the experiences were more than disappointing. The quality of my nails was terrible. My nails all ended up being different shapes and no matter how many times I asked her to correct the shape she just couldn't get it right. Even after my first experience with her I figured I'd give it another try, huge mistake. I left with one hand being noticeably shorter than the other hand. On top of that, I didn't notice until after I left that i still had cracks on some of the nails that just ended up breaking off completely the next day. It hasn't even been a full week since receiving my fill and I now have to go get my nails redone. She put no clear effort in doing my nails, such a disappointment! read more

Worst place in Northridge! My toe nails hurt because she didn't cut my nails nor removed my cuticles! They made a big deal about me not getting gel I now understand why because they can't give a nice polished mani, my nails have bubbles! You can't go wrong with their prices and all the nail techs are so sweet. I highly recommend Kim for pedicures, Cathy for gel manicure and Peter for acrylic nails. They always take good care of me and they are knowledgeable. It's not a fancy high end luxurious nail salon, but their work makes up for that of course. I love that it's family owned too! This place was fast and super friendly. Came in as a walk in appt. and they took care of me right away (both mani and pedi at the same time). The prices are also reasonably cheap, 33 for a gel mani and regular pedi, can you believe that! Plus they don't charge extra for sparkly or glittery nailpolish. Was around the neighborhood and decided to make a stop at this nail shop because of the good reviews. However my visit was unpleasant. I went in for two services. I got a pedicure done, it was a job well done, for the most part. However they did not offer anything to dry my nail polish on my toes. I got home with smudged polish. I also got acrylic nails. I told her manicurist I wanted them short and she did a great job making them as short as possible. While filing down my nails, she did cut my finger, not a big deal, I know accidents happen. I wanted gel nail polish and the variety of colors is good. When she painted my nails, the color looked streaky once the job was done. Although the service was quick, I was disappointed in it. I wouldn't return. $44 was totally not worth it. read more

My favorite place for waxing and nails. It is not quite as upscale as chain nail salons, but I'd argue that the quality is just as good. They know exactly what they're doing, with jobs on both hair removal and manicures/pedicures that last for weeks. The gel manicure is an absolute steal compared to other places. This place is FILTHY!!! My niece and I went for some pampering. I had a mani/pedi and she got a full set and a pedi. They did an ok job on my nails but her nails were not done very well (lumpy and not polished properly). The "massage chairs" for the spa pedi were torn and barely in working condition. There were HUGE dust bunnies EVERYWHERE and the floors were disgustingly dirty. We had an appointment and ended up waiting for about 30 minutes. We should have left! Why make an appointment if we have to wait anyway? Parking is awful...I will NOT return. I guess you get what you pay for...meh read more

Been coming here for the last 4 months or so and been getting a gel manicure. It has been lasting atleast 3 weeks if not longer and I'm on the computer all day longer. No other place has it lasted this long and it being the same product. Only one time did it not last that long, they stood up to their guarantee and fixed it for free. They have a large variety of colors to choose from that sometimes I can't make a decision. Lots of fun summer colors. Went in today and only had to wait 20 minutes with no appointment to get my nails done and was out of there in no time!! It's a great little nail salon! read more

I came here as a walk in an hour close to closing. They took me in and had great service they took their time to do both pedi and mani. I loved how both manicure and pedicure came out. My mani did not look chunky as some places do leave it like that. She was very patient and managed to make sure my acrylic nails were even.
