Electropedic beds are wonderful. I know this because my parents and several aunts and uncles rave about their Electropedic beds. So, when my mother-in-law was moving to a new home and in need of a bed that would do more than a regular, flat bed, I knew the Electropedic bed would be the right solution. What I didn't know was that I would receive such OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Gene at the Phoenix location was a life saver! Our plans for getting the bed at her new home were suddenly and unexpectedly rushed. During a very difficult time for us, Gene made sure that a bed was available for my mother-in-law's early arrival. (Her bed was being made per her specifications and would arrive a day later.) Gene even included some special gifts to make my mother-in-law's transition easier. Gene at Electropedic Beds is can-do kind of person. Though this may be the company's regular method of business, I felt that Gene went out of his way to make our difficult and very stressful transition work out well. Thank you, Gene! This business lied about the lift chair I ordered. They sent wrong color and NEVER stated it was pre-owned. Gave driver wrong phone numbers and I was never called about delivery time or given a choice. When I sat in it for 3 hours the chair was uncomfortable and I immediately informed them to pick it up. A day later no driver phoned to pick it up. I now have to wait till next week. Was charged fees of $460!! Do NOT buy from this place! read more

Purchased a hospital bed for my husband. It was the "home version". It didn't rise high enough to make caring for my husband less stressful on my back so I had to purchase risers for the bed. The mattress was the cheapest foam that could be found, the frame/bed was not long enough so I have to always pull him UP toward the head of the bed. For what I got, it really was not worth my money. I will have to find a medium firm mattress to replace this cheap one. I also bought an air top to keep my husband from getting bed sores as this mattress, sinks in the middle. I am sorry I spent the money on it but on the OfferUp site nobody will deliver. Very disheartening...feel a bit ripped off. read more

Amazing white glove service! Compassionate, no pressure, went above and beyond with service. This is the second time I have worked with them. First time was earlier this year with scooters, lift chair and trays and two adjustable beds for my parents who were going to an Assisted Living. I was living in Florida and my sister in Tennessee - they were amazing over the phone and when we were at their store. They were extremely kind and patient with my Dad who had Dementia trying things out in the store. When he passed two weeks ago - assisted us with their equipment to Florida. I purchased a lift chair from Electropedic Beds in Phoenix prior to major foot and ankle surgery. Because of COVID my chair was not going to arrive before my surgery. When I inquired about renting a chair in the interim Rosemary kindly offered to loan me a chair until mine arrived. It was a lifesaver. My new chair has arrived and I absolutely love it. I was in search of a lift chair recliner for my mother. She sleeps in her current one but it broke in the reclined position and was very difficult to get in and out of. I stopped by their store around 2pm on Saturday of a holiday weekend. Tom asked me how soon I needed it. I replied she sleeps in it so as soon as possible. He said he would do it that day. The company delivered a bed quickly when no one else would or could. Their delivery team was courteous and careful of our home. The hospital bed was just what we needed; it worked perfectly and the delivery team explained tome exactly how to use it. Pick up was equally easy even though now I am no longer a customer. In a time where online stores are taking over I found the personal service invaluable. I too am looking for a deal and often research a product with a real person and go on line to find a deal. I saw only one old review here for this business and I think I know why. The store on Camelback is easy to drive right by without notice and if you do happen to notice it, it's not all that attractive. Well if you think the outside is unattractive... the inside looks like it hasn't had any renovations since the 1970's. So far, this review sounds pretty negative but here's where it changes. Because I'm very sensitive to all the chemicals in regular mattresses, I wanted an all natural mattress and also an adjustable bed. I went in expecting to talk just about the bed but quickly realized the place also SPECIALIZES in all natural mattresses. Tom took his time explaining everything thoroughly and I bought both at a price lower than I expected to pay. Even the delivery service was great with a couple very funny (yet hard working) guys. I saw an ad for lift chairs for around $599. Went in. Tom was very helpful. Of course those chairs were not for people over 250. So purchased a larger model for over a $1000. Within the month, my pit bull puppy chewed the wiring to the motors. Our fault. So we paid over $500 to get it fixed. They did provide us a loaner and good thing because it took them forever to repair it. John is a disabled Viet Nam vet and he lives in his chair. He suffers with spastic paralysis. Only way he can get up to a standing position. John is extremely dependent on the lift chair. The next thing that happened was the remote stopped working. Somehow the cord was pinched and they replaced it. Next thing that happened was a big screw fell out on the floor. A repairman came out and simply put a bigger screw in the original screw hole. When I asked him what would keep it from falling out too he had no answer. Sure enough right around the 1 year warranty period, the screw came out again. John called on a Monday before the year was up. He was told they could not get out before Saturday. Using the chair with the missing screw only add more problems. When I called in to try to get a repairman out sooner than Saturday, I ended up speaking with a person named Marshall. He informed me he had NEVER had a problem with any of his lift chairs. By the way this chair is a Golden. He accused us of abusing the chair. He even eluded to the screw falling out as not being under warranty. He asked me what made me any special than the ones who had called in before me. What could I answer? I ended up calling the manufacturer. Seems the store had never reported any of the problems to the manufacturer. Not only that but the manufacturer representative told me that they have something special to be used when screws fall out. All the repair person would have had to do was report it and it would have been sent out to be installed. I ended up paying someone out of pocket to repair it to the point John could use it with permission of the representative from the manufacturer. The repairman called and said he guessed we did not need him after all. The store says they meet customer satisfaction 100% and I say they do not....This chair should last more than 1 year and 1 day. The only person who uses the chair is John. He only uses it to come to a standing position to go to VA visits and the bathroom. How that could be called abusing it, beats me! I have no plans to use this company again. read more

It took me 2 years before I could convince my wife to buy a adjustable bed with a true latex mattress. I was asking so many questions, and did not want to bother Otis and Walt anymore and I had a few more ?'s so I called the Burbank, Calif. store. What a mistake, I let Kane in the Burbank Electropedic store convince me to buy from him so I did not have to pay sales tax. I told Kane that I'll have a prescription anyway because of severe back problems. Kane assured me that the Camelback store could not do a prescription tax break but buying from him I would avoid the taxes. I also mentioned to Kane I don't want Otis or Walt to loose out on the commission. Kane assured me that all employees at Electropedic are paid a salary and they are NOT on commission. That was a LIE so he could steel another customer from the Electropedic Phoenix store. Kane's customer service after a sale, there is none, he is a con and does not represent the Electropedic company like he should. I was convinced to buy a Ultra Firm when I should have had a extra firm, my wife's is a extra firm. I was not able to sleep in my bed for about 2 weeks after the bed was delivered because of several back and hip problems. After 2 weeks of treatment I finally was able to sleep in my own home and bed only to find out the mattress was to firm. Kane wanted $475 to change mattress's after I had just spent $4995. Even after I explained to Kane my situation, Kane and his manager in the Burbank store did not care that they screwed me. I'm 61 and is now recovering from a total hip replacement with back surgery around the corner. Thank god for Otis and Walt at the Camelback Electropedic I'm finally sleeping like I had hoped for several years. At first I thought $4995 was a little pricey but I wanted a true latex mattress. After I started looking at other bed companies adjustable beds they was priced from $5500 no latex to $8500 with a company that uses the same latex that Electropedic. After that I considered Electropedic was a pretty good deal, and the guys at the Phoenix are great to deal with. Great customer service even after the sale even if it is not their sale. read more
