After my parents had a good outcome with their experience with EE at Cool Springs, we decided to give them a shot with a washer and dryer at our brand new home. Day one after receiving them, wash one, water was everywhere. All over the floors, lower part of the walls in the Landry room and hallway. We called, they said they would call by EOD to schedule a service appointment because there was water damage and no one called. So we followed up the next day. They said they would call to set a service appointment... no call. My wife called again. She spoke with Jim the service manager. He assured her that he would have someone come out at a certain date and time. She subsequently got a confirmation text with completely different info than what was discussed. We were then sitting at one week without a washer. Made one last call to speak to the store manager. He didn't seem the least bit concerned about our issue. Seemed like I was bothering him by calling. I told him to just come and get them and issue a FULL refund. Guess what... got a refund. Not a full one. They refused to refund the delivery fee for delivering damaged equipment. And, they didn't even hook up the dryer correctly either. We paid extra for a steam kit and such, never even installed it. EE is a joke! Heck - we were even told by one of their employees, there was a manufacturer defect in some of these models but that they would rectify it. And still got nowhere with them. What a waste of time and money (the delivery fee). We will never do business with them again. Truly, terrible customer service experience. read more

I purchased a case for my Samsung tablet A from them on there website and it doesn't fit as described so I had to return by shipping it back even though a store is a few miles away it cost me $15 to ship back and they refuse to refund me for shipping saying they don't refund shipping unless it's there fault well this is there fault not mine as I see it I'll never buy from Electronic Express again they act as if $15 will put them under . read more

We had a new refrigerator delivered at work took at, purchased from Electronic Express. This review is for the delivery/install team... and I would give 6 stars if I could! I received a text about 10 minutes before they arrived and a call once they were at my building. From start to finish this team of three (I wish I could remember their names) was the picture of customer service. I could not ask for a better experience or kinder or more or professional men. They were removing and taking our old fridge with them and then installing our brand new one. Between navigating the water valves, measuring doorways to ensure no damage, cleaning the fridge and floor after install, and the constant communication during the process - I can only send virtual kudos and say thank you! I've been an Electronic Express Cool Springs customer for years. Over the years, I've purchased tablets, laptops, air fryers, cables, ... Generally, my first go-to store. I haven't been in for some time and I happen to pass by a different EE, so I popped in. David Hagblom was EE's Sales Associate who is OUTSTANDING. David and I talked from tablets, to Apple products, to washer and dryers. I learned brands, product pro's and con's, customer reviews. I left totally informed as a customer and updated w/ current trends, etc. as a brand loyalist, even if I am a small $ customer. David was such a breath of fresh air as a Sales Associate willing to share his product knowledge and store protocols; deliveries, etc. when applicable. I learned everything I needed to know to make upcoming decisions for my daughter's new place and while I knew where to go, now, there's no question. My husband bought a dishwasher and refrigerator from this company. They were booked to install on a Wed. between 10-12. They arrived at 2:30. They were there almost two hours, said they didn't have tape on the truck and would have to come back another day to finish the installation. I asked if they could get tape and come back and was told they would come at 7 am the following morning. They did not come at 7:00. We rescheduled for the following the day at 7:15. The installer showed up and discovered the dishwasher was defective. He put in a call for a new appt the following day. My husband returned from out of town and went to buy a new dishwasher. He was told no one could come out until Sunday (5 days after the initial installation). I'm not sure how anyone runs a business like this and stays in business. read more

I bought a LG range at the outlet store. 2.5 months later it complete died. Sears service came out and this is what he said. Couldn't fix it as the manufacturer plate was gone, the insulation was half gone , which is a sever fire Hazzard. He wouldn't fix it. Said this should have not have been sold. My sales slip stated it was a floor model. I called the store. Manager said he'd give me a hundred dollars off another one . The corporate heads in Nashville said the same thing. I do not have nice. Luckily, I hardly used the range, otherwise I could have burned the house down. Please be careful buying from them. They have poor customer service. I wasn't asking for a new range. Came into the store ready to spend $1k+ on a tv. Walked around the TV section for 10-15 min. While they had a few TVs set out, the two I was considering weren't set out on the floor. From what I could tell there were 2 employees working the entire floor and 2 employees working the register. I was never approached by an employee, no one greeted me or even asked if they could help. Purchasing the Speed Queen washer was so fast and easy and it was delivered, installed and old piece of crap taken away for only $60 two days later. Too bad there isn't a negative star option. Beware of undisclosed open box sales. I purchased a Netgear router from this location. When I went to register it with technical support, I learned that my router had already been registered and that it was previously purchased. Electronic Express had re-boxed the merchandise and put it on the shelf for resale. The box was not marked nor did the salesman indicate it was an open box item (I suspect he didn't know). Upon learning all of this I made several attempts at resolution with Customer Service and found the process extremely slow and very painful. I initiated everything throughout, they were not proactive and ultimately offered nothing for my situation/trouble other than a swap out. Bottom line: I will not shop here again nor ever recommend them. Customer service was horrible and ultimately they simply cannot be trusted. read more

Cannot recommend in good conscience Electronic Express for any appliance delivery/install. We purchased an entry level Bosch dishwasher right before Memorial Day '20. The price with delivery was competitive and EE claimed they could get it delivered/installed in three days. On the appointed delivery day I woke up early and drove to the property where the install was to take place. EE showed up more or less on time; then the hilarity ensued (actually, no, none of what I'm about to share is funny or amusing). The first delivery crew arrived with the unit; spent about five minutes looking at the old dishwasher (a standard GE unit that was about 10 years old), and gruffly declared that the new Bosch unit required a "special tool" to install and that they were peace-ing out, leaving me to deal with EE's install department. Wait what? Didn't I pay $100 for you to show up and install a Bosch dishwasher? How did you manage to show up without the "special tool" (note: never identified/explained) supposedly necessary to install the dishwasher? (Sigh) If only that were the worst of it. Guess what--I had to take it upon myself to chase EE's installation team to secure a second delivery appointment (two days later). The value proposition of having this all done in 3 days start-to-finish had entirely evaporated, and I was kicking myself for not dealing with a more reputable retailer/installer (take your pick: HD, Lowe's, Best Buy). Fast-forward 48 hours, EE's crack-team of installers #2 arrived at the property on the chosen date/time and within 10 minutes of arrival declared that "for undetermined reasons, the old dishwasher was stuck and they were not able to remove it to proceed with the installation of the Bosch." I wasn't present at the time but once I was briefed, I relayed all of these misadventures/misdeeds to "Leon" a supervisory figure of sorts at EE's installation department who basically told me, his guys were the best in the business, veterans of hundreds/thousands of install jobs, and if they couldn't get the dishwasher out it wasn't coming out without the help of a full fledged contractor that I needed to retain. Ouch--sounds expensive, and not what I was expecting/wanting to hear. But, being the reasonably suspicious sort, I decided to drop what I was doing and drive to the property to see what was actually going on--you know "boots on the ground; tip of the spear", whatever. Being an entry-level handy person I didn't expect to accomplish much on my own. Turns out, maybe I should run the EE installation department, because within about 2-3 minutes of routine focus and effort I noticed that there were two standard wood screws securing the old dishwasher--one on each side--to the adjacent cabinet array. These were not hidden, hard to spot, or anything of the sort; I'm a desk-bound professional and was able to figure this out. Don't know why they were there--the house/dishwasher was that way when we bought it. I just know that I used a standard screwdriver, removed the two screws, and what-do-you-know, the darn dishwasher slid right out. Well shoot, if my basic level of handy was enough to accomplish this seemingly impossible feat--why not just continue on and self-install the Bosch? About 90 minutes later, the entire job was done; no thanks to the "pros" at EE. I have since reached out to my good friend Leon at EE's installation department on several occasions to request a refund of the $100 installation fee that I paid EE for the work I ended up doing for them. He initially assured me that he would refund the install fee and "would talk to his superiors about doing something else in the way of a further refund for all of my trouble/inconvenience." Considering how badly Leon and his team of install ninjas bungled the install job, it shouldn't be surprising that I've yet to receive a refund of the install fee and that Leon is ghosting me, hoping that I forget about the entire thing. I'll summarize my general thoughts on EE based on this experience: Pricing is competitive with the big boys/girls. Their install game is pathetically weak, and their customer service is "criminally" bad. Take your hard-earned money to the big boys/girls instead. read more

To my luck, they were on sale and Hamid worked with me to find the best appliances (washer/dryer, range, hood) that not only met my needs but were aligned with my budget. He was very thorough throughout the process, incredibly patient, and also made sure I received the best deal for exactly what I wanted. It was one of the best shopping experiences I've had in a long time, which was reassuring because it was such a large purchase. I purchased expensive Dell computer in late March,supposedly great model. Well apparently not. Just few mos afterwards, grinding noise and drive would not open at all. Given Dell # overseas, of course, no English speaking person. After 4 hours on phone told this was easy problem to fix,mailed me a 'drive' told to install myself. DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER!!!!!! Purchased a Samsung TV from Electronic Express via their Amazon store on 11/29/2021 and still didn't receive it as of 12/20/2021. Contacted them multiple times to be met with generic responses that the "item is in transit to a delivery terminal" which has been the status since 12/01/2021. The tracking number provided stated that delivery was expected by 12/09/2021 with last update being on 12/7 (2 weeks ago). Called the shipping company to find out it didn't even leave the original location after 2 weeks. Electronic Express is extremely unprofessional and unwilling to find a resolution to this situation, just shifting blame to the shipping company, which they chose. I've escalated this with Amazon in an effort to spare other customers from future frustrations and have them banned or at least being held responsible for the lack of fulfillment of their orders. Purchased a Macbook Pro 13" from this store via Rakuten. Computer came and it powered up and looked to be working. However, when checking the warranty, Apple said there was none? When I called Apple they said this product was refurbished and sold "as-is". Electronic Express sold this as NEW when in-fact it's a refurb. In the process of returning the computer now. Our family purchased a Microwave late last year and this week it died. I contacted the store in Brentwood, TN to get the warranty started to repair our unit. The first question was, "did I keep my receipt". No, I didn't. (First Lesson Learned - KEEP YOUR SALES RECEIPT!) I was told that I would have a copy supplied from their Corporate Office by the end of the day (3 days ago). As yet, I still have no receipt which LG requires to begin the warranty process. (Second Lesson Learned - Customer service after the sale t this store is non-existent.) I will buy appliances elsewhere in the future...and keep all my receipts! read more

Great experience. I came into this place ready to buy a TV. I spent several months researching online. I had read hundreds of reviews. I knew what I wanted. The salesperson approach me was a young guy. He was informed, articulate, and especially eager to make a sale. He did a great job sharing with me what he knew. The information he gave me only reaffirmed the decision that I had made before I walked in. It made me feel even better about my decision. Although he favored Samsung for the online experience, I wanted to Sony. His eagerness to make a sale, was the muscle behind getting me a better deal than was posted. In the end, I walked out of there with the Sony model that I wanted, at the price I wanted, and no sales tax (EE paid it). In the end I got an online price, from a local shop, and a personal experience. I'll be back. read more

What an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! BY FAR the worst retail experience EVER. I purchased a "Manager's Special" Acer desktop computer. They had three left, and I was told they were all "Open Box" items, hence the "Manager's Special" price. This is where the old cliche, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is," kicks in. I was told they were all "NEW" units that were either store demos, or computers opened at the store for inspection. I asked specifically if any of the units were returned by customers, and two different sales people told me they were not. Additionally, most big box retailers like Electronic Express that offer nationwide warranties, don't allow computers returned by customers to be sold as "New." When one is returned, they are sold as "refurbished" at heavily discounted prices, simply because the hard drives are completely erased and reinstalled to avoid spreading computer viruses. I trusted what they told me, purchased one and took it home. I made the switch at my office two days later. I connected everything, powered it up, and immediately got error messages that said there was nothing on the hard drive. In other words, the hard drive had been erased and whoever erased it "FORGOT" to reinstall Windows 10 and all other software that was on it. That means I was sold a computer that had been returned, which I was assured by two sales people was not the case. I will NEVER visit an Electronic Express store again. Their sales people are all paid via commission, so they'll tell you anything to fatten their paycheck. I returned the unit, and after a heated exchange with a manager FINALLY got my money back. They wanted me to try another one, but I refused. Buying here was a complete waste of my time, and I will never do it again. And you can bet I will tell everyone that wants to listen what happened. And retailers are wondering where all their customers are going? Experiences like the one above are a huge part of the problem. Good riddance! read more

I just bought a $3,000 refrigerator from Electronic Express & couldn't be happier with the experience. They had very helpful & accessible staff (better than any big box store I've been in), and a great and organized selection. The appliances being grouped by manufacturer was really helpful as they were not just scattered all over the floor. Their staff waited patiently as I shopped and compared rather compulsively (have you seen the options on refrigerators recently?). He was very attentive and informative with what was in stock and delivery times and model information. They got it shipped over a week before Home Depot could, where I wandered around for an hour with zero help, and once I got a person he had zero knowledgeability. This review comes after shopping at Home Depot (terrible), Lowe's (terrible), Best Buy (good - they've outsourced it now), and DT McCalls (good). For my next appliance I'll stop here first. I'll also say after buying the refrigerator I visited different departments and was very pleased, wherever I went a staff person asked if I needed any help and was happy to help. From TV's to cameras to computers. It reminded me of what shopping used to be. On a final note I bought the fridge warranty (recommended by my appliance repair man who says he works on a lot after only 2 or 3 years & the manufacturers warranty expires after a year). It was five years for under $200 which I felt was fair. I was glad it was five years; many other were 3 or 4, and the price seemed in line or cheaper with others. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I went to buy a laptop, I picked one out, but they only had the display left, so since I wanted something new I pick a different one. The new one I picked out was $300 more expensive. When I got home and opened the box the laptop had a huge scratch on it and fingerprints and scratches on the screen. I called the store and after talking to an associate I asked to speak to a manager. I talked to a manager named Ryan and he told me he would call his DM and call me back. Instead of him calling me back he had something else do it, another associate, not a manager. I was told that I would get a brand new HP. The new one was an I5 processor when I wanted a I7 processor. I WANTED A BRAND NEW ONE THE WHOLE TIME!!! When I went to pick up the new laptop the next day, the manager Ryan was at the front desk and he didn't even introduce himself or apologize for this terrible situation. I only knew he was Ryan because someone called his name. Lesson learned about this 1. Open your laptop box in store to make sure its what you want. 2.
