I've been seeing Manaz for electrolysis for a year now, and I truly couldn't imagine going anywhere else. She's incredibly skilled at what she does, and her warm, funny personality makes every appointment something I actually look forward to. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in delivering great results. Electrolysis takes time and commitment, but with Manaz, the process has felt easy, informed, and absolutely worth it. My results have been amazing, and I have complete trust in her expertise. If I could give her more than five stars, I would! read more

I've seen Manaz now for 10+ sessions. Her dedication to creating a comfortable, clean, and pleasant experience is unmatched. No, electrolysis is not fun, but YES I love going to spend time with the queen of it! She'll make you laugh, she cares about your skin, and she KNOWS her craft inside and out. She's super talented, punctual, and effective. See her if you want to get rid of stubborn, unwanted hair without worrying about scarring or any skin damage!! She's the BEST!! read more

I started with electrolysis years ago, first with tidying up my bikini line. Fast forward to hormonal changes, and now keeping my face tidied up. In that span, I've retired 2 electrolysis professionals. I can tell you, Manaz is the real deal. She is experienced, professional, and her space is immaculate. For my money, there is no better use of my "beauty dollars" than electrolysis. read more

The quality, the environment, the beautiful and wonderfully efficient and quick services by the lovely Manaz! I look forward to every visit when I'm in town! There is no one better at this, truly. Grateful to have found you! Recommend to all!! You will not find yourself in better hands:) read more

Manaz is absolutely amazing! I've been seeing her for over 1 year for electrolysis on various body parts and I love the progress so far. My upper lip is pretty much all cleared with hardly any regrowth, my eyebrows are nicer than before I started my electrolysis journey, and more. Her prices are very reasonable considering her efficiency and quality of service. Some things I noticed: 1. She is always punctual. 2. She clears the hair for every single minute you pay for--no less. The time to sanitize the body part isn't counted towards the electrolysis time. 3. She's very observant and caring. She will tailor the strength of the zap to your comfort level. 4. She is very organized and is prompt with replying. I've never had any issues with appointment bookings. 5. She keeps the work space and equipment sanitary. 6. She is very sensible and has a keen eye for beauty. When I was maintaining my eyebrows myself, I was plucking them very thin. She helped shape them considering the permanence of electrolysis. She made sure I had no regrets with my request and also offered her input on what looked nice. Now, I love my eyebrows thanks to her! Manaz is genuinely one of the kindest, most hardworking people I've met! She's incredibly professional and I wholeheartedly recommend her as an electrologist. The location is convenient too; there's a parking garage nearby (~5 min walk away) that offers free parking for the first 2 hours. read more

I have been a client of Manaz for over a year and she is simply the best! She is not only amazing at the work she does, but she is also so kind, funny, and you can tell that she cares about her clients. I love her no nonsense personality and genuinely enjoy our chats during sessions. Her prices are more than fair, she does not waste any time, and she works quickly to clear as much hair as possible during your session. She is straight forward and never tries to upsell or push anything on you which I appreciate. She is very honest about what to expect from the process and what is feasible for your particular concerns. She has never misguided me or steered me wrong during this process and I have loved my results! Electrolysis is a long process for anyone but it has been worth the patience and Manaz does an outstanding job. I would give more than five stars if I could -- she is a gem and an expert in her craft. read more

I did myself a favor, and got my ear hair removed for life. Now I get my hair cut when my hair needs cutting not when my ear hair is making me look old. After that I got my beard lines cleaned up and I've received so many compliments it was totally worth it. As all the other reviews state, Manaz is an absolute delight. A little discomfort for a lifetime of never seeing that hair in the mirror again was well worth it. I've already told my friends.... "Do yourself a favor" and they are happy for getting in on this treatment. read more

So grateful to have found Mahnaz. Her eye and work are meticulous and she works tirelessly to get the most difficult blond and gray hairs. I am very happy with the results. The rates are reasonable. The location is great; easy access and free parking. And, this review would not be complete without mentioning that Mahnaz has a heart of gold. She is a beautiful lady inside and out! read more

Trust me--you will not find a more skilled, swift, and gentle electrologist with a more lovely personality than Manaz. I have seen her six times now for eyebrow electrology, and each session has delivered me wonderful results with minimal pain/discomfort. (And in terms of pain, not all electrologists are equal! The two sessions I had elsewhere before discovering Manaz were a world of discomfort compared to Manaz.) Not only is she good at removing hair effectively and efficiently, but she also has a keen eye for *shaping* your brows in a flattering way, thanks to her past experience with eyebrow permanent makeup, while also accommodating your own preferences for thickness + shape. She's very cautious/conservative with the hair removal too, not taking off too much at once, which I think we can all appreciate, given the permanent nature of electrology. On top of that, she is just the sweetest person! Electrology is a slow process that requires multiple sessions, and it really helps the process if you enjoy the company of your electrologist, whom you will likely be spending several cumulative hours with. Manaz has such a serene, kind, and grounded soul and I have come to really like talking to her during our sessions. As happy as I am that I don't have to schedule sessions with her as frequently anymore these days (the electrology is working), when I eventually am done I'm certainly going to miss my chats with her! read more

She is amazing! So sweet and kind. Also, for some reason, in my electrolysis with her I experienced hardly any pain, much less so than at other places. Highly recommend her! read more

Don't believe any of the bad reviews. Manaz is one the sweetest people you will ever meet and I'm so happy I was introduced to her. As a Persian lady I have a lot of unwanted hair on my face and after only a couple months, it is virtually gone. There is some pain, of course, as with most of these types of procedures. But as the saying goes, beauty is pain read more

Manaz is amazing! I have been going to her for more than year now and I have had a lovely experience with her every time. Electrolysis does not feel good by any means, but she does everything in her power to make sure I am as comfortable as possible. Most importantly, she cares about my skin. She is very responsive and flexible with scheduling, within reason, and open to feedback. read more

The person I was going to after many years retired last year. So I went onto YELP and read several reviews. I feel like I won the lottery by choosing Manaz. She happens to be in a great location with plenty of parking and a lovely and clean suite. In addition, she has been in this business for many decades and is very good at what she does , very pleasant, and very close to where I live. I definitely will call her again for a treatment. read more

Manaz is the best and would 100% recommend going to her!! She does excellent work - I went to her for 3 months and never got any scarring. She's also very flexible on scheduling and is open on Saturday. The cherry on top is that she's just the sweetest human. Manaz is the ultimate professional with a warm and caring touch. From the first phone call to the last session with her, she has been thorough with her work and very friendly. She also took time to explain hair removal basics, pre session and post session care tips. The studio itself is neat and tidy. There is always relaxing music in the background as well. I rate this place very highly. You should give it a try. I am sure You won't be disappointed. read more

Came here for a consultation a few months back and just didn't like it. The room was small and Manaz wasn't friendly at all. Furthermore, her technique was really painful and left me with a a terrible breakout. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

I am so happy I found Manaz! I have suffered from unwanted hormonal facial hair for too long and I am almost hair free. Manaz is very thorough and moves efficiently during the hair removal process. Manaz is a pro at what she does and takes great pride in her work. The results have been amazing! She makes the experience as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The location is great, parking is easy, and her prices are reasonable. Booking appointments couldn't be easier because she is so responsive. She's always on time, so no time spent waiting. After having a horrible laser hair removal experience on my face, which led to many new unwanted whiskers, I discovered Mahnaz. And for the first time, I'm finally starting to see a reduction in growth and coarseness. From the very beginning and throughout, Mahnaz makes sure that the client is in the know, comfortable and happy. I have very sensitive skin, so we started low and worked our way up, as to not damage the skin. She checks in, and actually cares. Mahnaz is gentle and kind. And I'm always so excited to see her. I highly recommend her services! read more

Manaz is the best! I came here for my first time and she is very informative and knowledgeable. She's been doing it over 31 years and that makes me feel way more comfortable! Very reasonable prices, great location and 2 hour free parking! Going back next week. :) read more

I'm so pleased that I found Manaz through yelp. She has a lovely personality - kind and caring - and does everything she can to make the process as comfortable as possible. Her skills are outstanding. I've been very impressed by how quickly and effectively she works. After just a few sessions, I saw a marked improvement in my problem areas - chin, neck, and upper lip. With a few more visits, those areas are now almost completely free of hair. I give her the highest possible recommendation! (And as a bonus, there's free two hour parking in the city lot right across the street.) read more

I found Manaz through Yelp, and am extremely grateful I did. You can stop your search for an electrolysist right now, Manaz is the one! She's so sweet, friendly, nice to talk to, and I consider her a friend now after coming to her for a year. I've used hair waxers previously who've made what can already be a fairly sensitive subject/treatment all the more awkward, yet Manaz has always made me feel very comfortable (and on top of that, it's permanent!). She is great about explaining the process of electrolysis to me and answers any questions I have about it. She uses a numbing cream before she begins and a cooling tool afterwards, making the process pretty painless. It took growing out some of my problematic hairs and a handful of sessions, but my troublesome hairs are almost all gone now! I can't recommend her enough. read more

Manaz is the BEST!! Gentle hands and fair prices. I know this is electrolysis I am reviewing but I look forward to coming in to see her. She is so sweet, we have good conversations and I love her accent! I have been blessed with hair! You should see my dad, he is covered. Sorry to disappoint you dad but this hair has gotta come off. Thank you Manaz! Hair removal is not for the weak. So sit back and enjoy the ride. read more

Manaz is one of the sweetest women you will ever meet and I thank God that I was introduced to her talents through a friend (who is also a happy client). She's truly a hair-removal goddess! I've been seeing her over the past several months for electrolysis treatments and have been so happy with the affects. Over time, with her treatments, my hair growth has lessened and the remaining hair has softened ... the only downside of the treatments is that she does such an excellent job that my time between treatments keeps getting longer and longer ... meaning I don't get to see her as much as I did when I first started treatments! I'd tried laser hair removal in the past, but I'm one of the unlucky gals for whom it increased my peach-fuzz growth without providing the desired results. My trouble spot is my face and Manaz is absolutely gentle (and uses a fabulous topical numbing lotion), but gets the job done. As a newbie to the procedure, and a bit of a wimp, I was concerned that electrolysis would max out my pain threshold ... I was happily surprised that at least for me, it hasn't hurt a bit. I've been really impressed with Manaz's appointment availability and flexibility, her studio (which is bright and cheery), and her prices (which are very, very reasonable). Parking is available onsite and Manaz provides validation. I highly recommend her! *** August 2013 Update *** I wanted to update to add that for the past several years I've also been a permanent make-up client. Manaz transformed my eyebrows from nothing to true, face-framing works of art. Fertility treatments and genetics had made my brows super sparse ... so much so that I felt I had to fill them in even before going to the gym. Sans make-up still meant doing my brows. The natural look that she gave my brows has given me so much freedom -- I feel like I can throw on sunscreen and mascara and still look put together now. Manaz is truly a perfectionist and even when I thought they looked great after the initial ink, she continued to make tweaks that took them from amazing to a-maaaaaaay-zing! To be honest, I was nervous about something so permanent on my face, but Manaz's perfectionism and attention to detail the first time I had my brows done have put me at ease. I've been back several times for touch-ups -- because like any tattoo the color will change a bit over time -- and each time she is just as wonderful as the last visit. The pain threshold for the permanent make-up, for me, is a little higher than the electrolysis, but after the initial touch of the pen it was fine. Manaz is as gentle as can be with the process and stops to ask you how you're doing. Each time I go, it gets easier. I love the results and wouldn't trust my brows to anyone else! read more

Ok boys and girls, let's face it: Many of us have some extra hair in places we just don't love. It's too tiring to deal with shaving, waxing, and plucking. I'm Middle Eastern so my hair roots are Herculean. And the more you shave...well, the more you shave! I decided to commit to electrolysis to really deal with this issue. I did my research and met with several electrologists around town. Without a doubt, Manaz is the best! She is extremely professional, clean, smart and strategic about tackling that hair. She takes this work seriously because she knows how having unwanted hair can affect someone's day. She'll be realistic about your needs so you never have to worry about not having a plan. She explains the hair growth cycle and encourages you to put the tweezers away. Trust her! On top of being great at her job, she's funny and friendly and always makes her clients feel truly comfortable. Her prices are very reasonable. Her salon space is bright, airy and has lovely plants that put you in a relaxed mood. Parking is easy, too: find street meters during the day, or side streets on evenings/weekends or you can always park in the attached structure for which she validates!! She'll remind you regularly that the hairy situation is getting better and the progress is being made. It's just the support you need. Remember that it's not laser hair removal - thank God -- that stuff burns!! -- and so it'll take some time but you and she will always talk about how things are progressing. You'll be thrilled to have the hair come in softer and less intensely after several visits. And eventually, the follicle just gives up and no more hair comes out! That's because Manaz's fantastic and concentrated powers are nothing as compared to those hair follicles! read more

Manaz is my favorite! After a few months of living away I made my way back to the Queen of electrolysis. She's super nice and always fun to talk to. She's very knowledgable about hair and the stages that the hair is in. She explains to you when it is best to do electrolysis for your hair too. To ease the pain from the machine, talking with her helps. She is fun and engaging. I am so happy I know her and that she helps me feel beautiful every time I come. Her work is super clean and she tries her best to ease the pain. I admire that she does not like to leave the work unfinished too. I had some hairs left after my 15 minute session and she preferred to get it all done rather than having me come back next week to finish the rest of the area. read more

So I went to Manaz a few times. Really sweet lady but the treatment not only didn't work it made my hairs thicker. When I began to notice the hairs getting thicker I mentioned the observation to Manaz and was reassured that this is the process and the hairs first get thick and then go away. Needless to say, this did not happen. After 4 months I decided to try someone new. I have been going to Alison Ashley for almost a year now and my hair is almost gone and I couldn't be happier. read more

Manaz genuinely cares about her clients. I have been seeing her for over a year now and have noticed a huge difference in my hair growth, which is typically very coarse and thick. She is kind and gentle, and I wouldn't trust anyone else for my electrolysis. I have very acne prone skin and do not break out after being treated by her; you just need to take extra care of your skin after being treated to avoid breaking out, as it will obviously be very sensitive. Another plus is that parking is easy and free at her location. Manaz is the best! read more

Oh, how I love Manaz! ... Let count me count the ways! Not only is she elegantly professional, she is kind and delightful! It is ironic to look forward to your electrolysis appointments but I do! And I look forward to my appointments because Manaz is gentle and very precise. She takes time and makes sure you comfortable; she gives you the option for her to apply a numbing creme so you can breathe with the results. She uses "blend" which is a electrolysis technique; and what you are looking for for lasting results. She places a bolster under your knees for ultimate comfort and offers you a blanket so you dont get a chill. Her suite is gorgeous and parking is only $1 with validation. I would totally recommend Manaz for your skin care needs; she is so trustworhy and I am so blessed to have found her! read more

I found the lovely Manaz through Yelp and i will always be grateful for it. Not only she is very knowledgeable, caring, sweet and listens to your concerns, she's also an amazing lady with a big heart and sense of humor. I don't know why i took so long to write this review. I'm happy with the progress on my face, before electrolysis i was embarrassed to even show my face and that would make me very depressed.
