Feels like a fight at El Cerrito 99 Ranch to find a spot. Marina Bay is a mess (no trash can nearby), and half the chargers feel broken. Also, I usually have to wait for spots. I appreciate Fitzgerald shopping center charging. While hopping, I can usually find a spot immediately, and there isn't trash everywhere.

EV Charger Expert proposed installing a smart plug that would monitor demand, and should demand overtax the existing service, throttle back demand from the car charger. Definitely a destination we revisit to enjoy the immersive experience only the D Box seats bring my little person. There is an arcade inside the theater. The best one is a prize every play for the little person. My daughter and her friends have played inside a few times with the games all functioning when we were present. For food, there is a McDonalds, burrito spot, Chipotle and iHop a short walk away or less than a minute drive. Of course, there are popcorn, pizza, nachos, pretzel bites, candy and ICEEs if you would like to eat during the movie.

The entrance is right before the light of the freeway entrance (San Pablo Ave & John Muir Fwy) and right after the Safeway parking lot entrance. To enter sucks, you still have to wait in the freeway/Safeway traffic before you can access the entrance. To exit, I will either have to take the freeway or cross over lanes to U turn. Morning and late afternoon traffic is brutal over here so... Just saw a car pull up from the Safeway direction, so it is possible to enter/exit through the Safeway parking lot. Still not pretty but definitely easier than the street. Everything about this place is the same as any other Electrify charging station... charging speeds, rates, etc. I hope these chargers will be well maintained without out of order stations as often as other locations. Just happy it's finally open with WAY MORE charging stations than that at Lucky. Not sure how long the no wait will last especially since there is no place to park while you wait for the next available charger. That may change once construction is done over here. We will see...

We have charged here several times and always enjoy it. I enjoy walking through the shopping center…read more checking the price of live crab, having a boba or enjoying a sit down meal. We have never had to wait in line for a charge and have never experienced a broken charger. There is even a pot store across the street if that is your thing. As the man once said..
