I had a great experience with The Electric Man! Richie responded to my inquiry quickly and communicated clearly throughout the entire process, so I always knew what to expect. He did an excellent job installing a Sputnik ceiling light fixture with a dimmer switch, a new light fixture above my dining room table, and two outdoor sconces. His workmanship was top-notch, and everything was installed perfectly. Richie was professional, dependable, and reasonably priced. It's hard to find an electrician who is responsive, does quality work, and is affordable, but he checks all the boxes. I highly recommend The Electric Man and will definitely call Richie again for any future electrical projects! read more

This was the second time I've hired Richie and once again, he did a great job. He updated several breakers that were having issues and quickly resolved the problem. He's always responsive, reliable, and honest. He takes the time to explain what needs to be done, and his pricing is fair with no pressure or unnecessary upselling. It's hard to find someone you can trust, and I highly recommend him for any electrical work. read more

Second time using him and once again he did not disappoint. Came to connect and install a ceiling fan on our second story roof. Not an easy place to get too. He was open and honest the entire time, answered any questions me or my wife had, and we were fully ready to pay a certain price and have extra holes made. He was able to figure out a way that left no holes in our roof, and actually brought the quote down because he was able to find another more simple solution. That's not something people do. We will continue to use his service for anything electrical and you should too. read more

Our outlets in the garage went out and I was able to call Richie around 7P and he picked up to talk it through. He had availability the next morning and he got everything figured out and working. He also noticed a lot of the electrical outlet work that came with the house was not up to par and he was able to change the ones inside to the outlets that are child proof. He also changed some of my light switches that were messed up thanks again Richie. read more

I was referred to Richie by a friend as I am hesitant to find someone who I didn't know personally to recommend. If you're looking for a honest, hard working and fair priced electrician Richie is your guy. I was only suppose to get some things fixed, but because of his fair pricing and his truly hard commendable work I opted to get more stuff done by him. He is very reliable and hard working and I highly recommend him especially if you're in the IE area. I personally had multiple quotes and researched on yelp for other electricians and he was my top pick. Richie worked on all my island lights and chandelier for my kitchen and dining room. He even bought all the bulbs for me and took into account the aesthetic look I was going for. He texted me pictures when he was at the store to see what kinds I would prefer and even told me when things were on clearance so he would always be honest and open about it. I appreciated that a lot because not everyone will do that. Additionally he installed and put in my new ceiling fan and also changed all my lights to LED and recessed lights....he even added changing my backyard light to another LED light! And while he was here I bought a ring flood light and he installed that as well lmao he did it all! Don't think about it, hire him! read more

Awesome electrician, very responsive and reasonable. Quality work, highly recommend for any project, small or big.

Richie was recommended by a friend. He was going to replace what I thought was a dead gfci outlet. Turns out the outlet was fine, it just had loose wiring. Instead of charging me for a replacement, he was transparent about it being an easy fix and fixed it. Additionally, he installed new lights in the kids rooms, replaced recessed lighting that went bad in the kitchen and around the house, properly installed my dining room light fixture and replaced outdoor lights. Very happy with his work and happy to have lots of lingering issues finally fixed! read more
