They upgraded my NEMA 6-50 to NEMA 14-50 and also found out one of my breaker is going bad. They upgraded EV plug, changed out the breaker and added a surge protector. Using advanced diagnostic tools and a systematic approach, they pinpointed the root cause quickly and clearly explained what would be required to fix it. What stood out most was their honesty. It would have been easy to push for an expensive repair, but instead, they suggested giving a try with the builder's electrical contractors before committing to their proposed work, as the house is relatively new (3 years), though it is out of the builder's standard 1-year warranty. Fortunately, that option worked, and I didn't need to move forward with repairs through Nick's Electrics. Even so, they didn't seem disappointed in the slightest. The project included 15 Ethernet drops across six rooms and 1900 sq ft, audio speaker wiring, and height speaker installation. The work turned out very well overall. What stands out most was Rick's accountability to the job and for the work of his crew. He was communicative, kept me informed throughout the job, and made absolutely sure any issues I had were addressed. Rick's team also tested every cable run with a Fluke tester and verified that each run was properly shielded and capable of 10 Gbps performance. They were also attentive to the smaller cosmetic detail requests, including cable color, outlet style, and the specific placement of wall jacks. Although just about everything is expensive nowadays, the pricing for the scope and quality of work was reasonable. It was a pleasure working with these guys -- I'd definitely hire them again for any future data cabling, audio, camera installation work.
