Back parking lot for "test rides". You will learn nothing from testing a bike in this small of a space.
Christina B.

I came here to test ride ebikes. You are not allowed to leave the back parking lot, which is maybe 100' long. I didn't even get the bike above 8 mph going across that small of a space. There is no way to get a sense of how the bike does on hills, how long it takes to reach max speed, how the shocks perform on bumps, how the brakes perform, how quickly the battery loses life, how smooth the peddling experience is, etc., etc., etc. Every other bike shop in town let's you take bikes for actual test rides. They are obviously not bikers here. Don't waste your time here.

E bikes to test, rent, and buy!

The difference is light night and day! Even if you're not a runner or an athlete, it's well worthwhile if you spend any amount of time on your feet. Even if you don't end up buying your next pair here, those insights are everything for shopping further afield.

After coming in the first time, getting a futuristic testing done on my feet for size (a complete BS facade to take your money easier), they said I need an 8.5 men's. I wear an 11 usually. I haven't been an 8.5 since junior high 6 years ago. Yet I was made to look like a fool when I questioned the 8.5. Instead, I took the pair home and destroyed my feet running in them. Then returned them and got a new pair that was bigger. And destroyed my feet. Then returned again and returned them to get a new pair a little bigger. And destroyed my feet (albeit not as bad). In case you were wondering, I run 4-10 miles most runs. No I am not new to this. Also, got sold these shoe inserts here. Complete shite. $50 and the worst thing I've ever put in my shoe. I actually just threw them away. I must say though, congrats to Fleet Feet for finding such an incredible way to not only destroy my feet but also make a killing while at it. Which I could remember the name of the cunt who sold me the first pair

I went exploring the new store today looking for a seat attachment for my current board. The sales team members were super helpful and explained the various choices and showed me how easy they are to inflate and attach. They also offered a trail period. We had formerly tried the customer service corporate line and no luck with replacement seat. By happenstance, we were rebooked on our vacation to stay to Austin and driving around spotted the Bote sign! It's a fantastic store with so many different models and accessories. The actual seat we need for our Deus's isn't available for some reason, but amazing Ben was able to find a different seat that absolutely works. He had our model in the store and took the time to show us the other seat, blow it up and latch it to make sure it would work. SOLD! I bought 2 seats and 2 paddles then, took his suggestion to get 2 cup holders to see about rigging them as possible pole holders. Really happy with the customer service and great showroom. PS - this is the only store outside of Florida at this time. Now I'm not so pissed about being rebooked in Austin when the AC gave out on my hotel in San Antonio. Everything happens for a reason. Problem solved. Happy customer.

They tuned my road bike a few years ago for a triathlon and did a great job. I recently got a new bike and was very excited to ride it but wanted to do a safety bike check first. They were busy and so was everyone else so I ended up going to another store that was able to squeeze me in for a bike check for $100. This other store did a fine job checking my bike but my shifters were still messed up when I rode it. Obviously my fault for being impatient. This other store was going to charge me another $60-$90 to fix the shifters and another $200-$300 for new tires, including installation. So I ended up going back to Clown dog - and should've waited and gone there instead to begin with. They did a great job consulting me on tire options and have access to order a variety of tires and it cost me only a fraction for installation and to tune my shifters. Solid. I'm a happy customer and they have become our go to store for all of our bike needs. This place is a gem.

I've been staring at the walls of our home since March and losing my black-ass mind; so something where we could be outside, social distanced, distracted from the insanity of our country, and active was a must. I'm still not sure how I stumbled across Unhooked Sports and eFoiling but I'm so glad that I did. Paul was SUPER responsive to all of my emails was actually able to get us a private lesson for 2 within a week. Boyfriend researched eFoiling online and I was beyond stoked to try it. I was petrified. Until we met Paul at the lake and saw how organized, professional and prepared it all is. Paul provides helmets equipped with microphones and headphones, so he stayed in constant communication with us the entire time. Whether he was reminding us to speed up, lean this way, or just cheering us on; I never felt disconnected. Boyfriend is good at everything and it look him about 5 wipeouts before he picked it up. I never got to my knees, so I ended up having the most exhilarating boogie board experience. It is fun and a surprisingly good work as we're both still sore 4 days later. It is expensive; but consider that each eFoil board retails at $12,000 and we were using 3. There's also the tech for each of the helmets and Paul provided us with lifejackets. If you're into novel, one-of-a-kind activities, then the price tag won't scare you off. The 2 hours we spent outside, on the water, away from the world and having fun was worth it.
