This was our second time visiting the electric playhouse, and it's always such a fun experience. Our friends were visiting from LA (where we used to live), and they brought their little monsters, oops I mean children, so we thought this would be the perfect place. The best part was the room where the kids get to let their energy all go, throwing the balls to the wall (and sometimes accidentally on each other), it's a nice way for them to get tired , have fun, without hurting themselves or anyone. For older children there are other games where you have to figure out how to play it, like following a puzzle or pattern of lights, etc. There's even one where your body resembles air hockey. For the adults there's lots of alcohol at the bar and cool lights to zone out to while the children have their fun. They even have food there too if you get hungry. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. I would recommend to anyone if you want your little Ones to have fun, while you're getting a nice head change and break from the usual day to day, bring them here.

This place was practically empty on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. That says a lot. When we (my sister's family of four, and me, the Auntie) walked in the door, a very zoned-out dude at the front desk checked us in, but gave us zero instructions or information. My brother-in-law then asked questions ("How long is our slot? Do we need any instructions?"), and only then did we get answers. The interactive spaces with video games and lighted walls responsive to touch are pretty cool. But after about 30 minutes, our 8-year-old said, "Is this all there is?" My thoughts exactly. For anyone wondering if this is anything like Meow Wolf..... no. Meow Wolf is in a completely different league. If you'd been there, you'd know.

I swear I have the worst luck. The one Sunday I actually had some time to kill and finally made it here. Wouldn't you know they are closed that day. That is always my luck with this place. Every time I've attempted to come it's always closed whether it's for a special event or just a normal closed day. This time around it was a special event smh. I can never seem to get there when they are actually open. It's very disappointing because I've been dealing with this since they reopened after Covid started. I know I'm very busy especially these days and it's rare for me to have some downtime. I understand they are busy as well. I guess I just have sum it all to bad luck. It sure would be nice if they actually were open when I finally do get the opportunity to go on a weekday, weekend, whatever day it may be. Hopefully my next attempt I'll finally get to see this. If not I think I might throw in the towel.

    Happy hour!

This place was so much fun! 110% recommend! Went with my man and my parents; everyone enjoyed themselves so much. We got to try all the interactive games and if we had any questions on how to operate one a worker was available to assist. You could tell they wanted to play as well haha Food was pretty good. I saw the happy hour prices after we ate and realized it wasn't honored while we were there. No biggie, but good to know for the future. I read they have live performances here. Definitely recommend for kids and adults. Great for a fun date with family, friends, or a special person in your life! Personally I think it would be a fun first date idea ;-) 100% check it out! Again, they have a restaurant so if you need a break from playing you can go into the restaurant area to dine in. The workers are fantastic! Very accommodating. Really great experience! **We did not participate in the immersive dining experience**

This is a great out of the ordinary date night experience. We attended the Space Cruise Dinner. The staff were great and helpful. It was a fun mix of interesting food pairings, light, motion, sound & story. There is some room for improvement in the production piece (partially open black curtain, inaccurate menu at the table...). Overall it was a good meal and a great date night. I suspect it will only get better over time. After the space Cruise, we were allowed to go into the electric playhouse game area. This was a much appreciated bonus. I'll definitely be returning with my kids in the future.

Super fun. We came early, right as they opened on a Sunday morning and were the first ones there and were able to enjoy all the activities with no crowds!

Honestly this place is fun. I also went on a Monday since they are offering deals (half off). My nephews had fun picking the games and going room to room. Is it pricey, yes. But if you complaint about everything being expensive then we would not have any places or events that caters to everyone. I really think people should give this place a try.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

The sunrise burger is still one of hubby's favorites in the city, and the fries are incredible. I tried the High Point Mac & cheese (green chile mac w/steak sliced on top) and yowza. So much flavor, and the steak was perfectly tender. The restaurant has food nailed. And our server was amazing. Unfortunately, th manager did a poor job estimating how busy they'd be on a Friday night, so the two servers were running ragged. The manager pitched in, but they were playing catch up with the silverware and we had to wait for it when the food arrived. Which, no biggie, but it was a fork when I had steak and my husband had a messy burger. So we right away asked for knives. I pointed out my steak, and the manager got snarky with us like she got it. But then she brought us butter knives. When I got up and went to the bar to ask for a steak knife, her attitude was even faker. I don't abide fake when someone's eyes and mouth clearly say they think you're stupid or annoying or both. As a manager, you learn how to school your face and keep people happy or you don't last in management long. Also, if she miscalculated staffing, then it should have been her job to get into the bathrooms and keep them presentable. They weren't. Paper everywhere, and the walls need some serious touch ups. It's hard for people to trust the food safety if the job-food public areas aren't kept clean and well-maintained, you know? We'll be back because the food IS awesome and we always have an enjoyable meal. But they definitely need to turn an eye toward building upkeep and service.

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

I don't even know where to start but here goes. The New Mexican Philly cheesesteak, arguably my favorite dish, very very different take on what a cheesesteak usually is (not in a bad way). I was first skeptical when I ordered it, but I saw all the great reviews on the dish so I had to try. This was oddly enough my 4th favorite Philly cheesesteak I've ever had, which is weird to say because the first 3 favorites were actually in Philly and made the traditional way. Something about the spicy queso sauce and the soft fatty tasting meat just really brought it home. The huevos rancheros: every inch was flavorful , saucy, cheesy and lovely. I enjoyed even more the parts where I could also taste the tortilla at the bottom, wish it was in more of the dish but it's okay the flavors were outstanding. Another 5 star dish! Next time I'll also try it with eggs over medium. The Xmas chile cheese fries: best chile cheese fries in New Mexico! The fries themselves tasted like they were hand cut, so either they had some high quality freezer fries or they definitely cut those fries by hand. Either way I wasn't complaining! Their green chile was insanely good. We also had the Green Chile stew, the flavors and ingredients were really good. I think for people that love home cooking this will feel really nostalgic for them. Like grandmas caldo she used to make. For me, the dry texture of the beef reminded me way too much of my mom's dry / rough beef she always had in her stews . Objectively I can say it was a really nice caldo, but the tortillas, not sure how I could grab on to much of the food with it really. I think this might be a dish best eaten in house. I also tipped their staff $2 in addition to the driver tip , and they wrote a funny joke on the plate which I thought was cute haha. I kept the rating at 5 stars but I hope that management reads this review because I do have one critique. All the food was in styrofoam and non sustainable plastic. Styrofoam especially has been banned from some places including California because when heated it, it adds cancer causing chemicals into your food. I would gladly pay $0.35 per meal to receive the meals in sustainable packaging that will keep me healthy. Because of this, I think I won't be ordering from here for delivery and hope that I have time to make the 20 minute drive to go there in person. It's really good food! Found this place on DoorDash but the funny part is it's been near my house the whole time next to the barber shop I've been to plenty of times.
