Great experience. Bobby answered our call and immediately got his crew together to come over. He had another job going but fit us in. Within a few hours he was at my house with his partner and started working. He was very friendly and kept me updated by text right up until he showed up. We needed some heavy furniture moved so they did a quick size-up of what was needed and where to put it. He and his helper took care and didn't hit any walls or scratch anything. They worked quickly to the point that I wanted them to take a break. As I said this stuff was very heavy and was not easy to maneuver. Also, they happily moved other small items for us. I'm a little behind on this review, but hey!!! I was busy doing what I need to do with my move. The move was a pain.....but this company made it a breeze come true. First of all, communication is 100% . Bobby the owner kept me in the ring the whole time, on who was coming thru to help (even gave me an extra hand to help out) like how nice is that(?) I told him I needed only two men, and this guy gave me another dude to help. So, things got done in a short manner and I got to save my wallet. But regardless it was worth it! (As we all know moving is difficult) Speaking to the owner via phone was easy- he immediately got my inquiry online and reviewed it as I spoke on the phone on my needs and concerns. Love that he was on top of it. I called all around the Boise area, and this company was super detailed, didn't de-rail me to a call center, didn't take time (days or two) to respond to me. "PHEWW!" Even tho I gave them a call, the owner didn't beat around a bush with an estimate...he was CLEAR on, "this Is the total." I LOVE THAT, it's like, "lets be real here, I don't need hidden fees, or anything like that." I explained my budget, my need for ONLY TWO MEN FOR 3 hours. He was all about making it work for me. Even tho I filled out the online form which is by the way, personal on who these guys are, his team, his company goals and how they work to get it done/ details! DETAILS! Talk about a win! Just check out the site yourself. Bobby, wanted to make sure "I as THE CLIENT WAS comfortable on WHO WILL be taking care of my stuff! Respect right there. "Thank you!" Okay, so, I immediately knew with the quick and easy call that this was the TEAM I wanted to hire. Everything was so smooth, just like he said. Communication was spot on! I was notified the day before and day of (phone call/text) The owner showed up himself and also brought an extra BODY to help out(like wwwhhhaaat?! Who does that?!) to kind, but also more like, I got you, and understand if we can, we will. I respect that as a WHOLE for a company to care for the clients needs and understanding. These guys were Super professional, greeted, asked every single time on, "where would you like this," it was perfect. I watched how the guys just went straight to work and did it with a smile here and there.....(idk about you, but smiles are everything) I asked for all my totes to be out of my 26ft UHAUL TRUCK, and furniture to be unloaded within 3 hours and they got it done in SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME!!!! Less than 2 I believe. I paid the full amount, because I just was baffled by how quick these guys were, but also by how they were super gentle on all my stuff. The owner was super kind, period. - I am just truly thankful I found this great company! They not only do moving, but they are versatile in their work with other projects and areas! I look forward in the future to use this company again or just to help clean my house, . Pretty exhausted here lol! I do want to mention, that I gave this company waters, and basically hydration drinks! It's HOTTT OUT here, and regardless if we pay the company and they do what they do, we need to help out as a client. I would like to give a big shout out to Electric Monkey Moving Company. The owner is Robert (Bobby) Bowles. They just moved me from Southern California to Treasure Valley, Idaho. I'm excited to be here near my family and more freedom. I really appreciate the fact that Bobby and Micklo were involved in packing up the truck in CA and unloading the truck in ID. They took such great care of my antique furniture and other items. They respected me, my home, and my belongings as did Tristen and Aiden. These young men worked very hard, diligently and smart. I did a lot of research on moving companies and was amazed at the poor reviews so many of them have. My daughter and a friend also did research for me and the three of us came up with Electric Monkey Moving. I love supporting small family businesses and that's what this is. Used them this summer. Owner is very nice but one of his workers put a larger ding in ceiling. Pointed this out but they did not fix it.

My move was short; from Boise to Meridian, but they handled it with TLC to the max. Friendly guys, efficient, and fairly priced. I especially love that they're just blue collar men who genuinely WANT to help. read more

Although the price was very good, the move was a disaster. The movers could not get everything on the 26' truck even though they had come to see everything beforehand. There was expensive furniture that wasn't wrapped and damaged because "they ran out of blankets" There were items lost and things that disappeared. We were told they would reassemble everything but then they were annoyed when we asked them to do so. When we talked to them about these things they said they gave us a great deal so we shouldn't complain! I wish we would have paid more and hired a professional but they have proven that you get what you pay for. I have never taken the time to write a bad review but I am just so disappointed and wanted others to be aware. read more
