Sewn is an overpriced store selling used and antiquated clothes that will not honor returns…read more I came into Sewn searching for some cloth. The lady at the front desk was exceedingly helpful and even assisted me in selecting the correct type of fabric. I was shocked to see that the scrap fabric was grossly overpriced at $40, but after paying for the item, the shopkeeper stated I could bring back the fabric should I have any issues with it. A few days later, I came in to return the unused fabric, but a different shopkeeper was manning the cash register. This employee refused to refund me despite the receipt I produced. She stated that fabric was not returnable, which was never disclosed to me prior to purchase. Moreover, the previous employee who processed my transaction clearly stated I could return the fabric. Instead, I had to settle on store credit, which I begrudgingly spent on an overpriced vintage (aka used) button-up. Overall, I would not recommend Sewn for clothing or fabric. Sewn charges an unjustified premium and refuses to honor returns.

What stood out to us were the unique local shops, especially Denver brands like Toco Design with its creative, modern aesthetic. It's also home to the only Thule store, which was a fun surprise to find right in the middle of the city. We also loved Aktiv, a high-end Scandinavian-inspired store with beautifully curated products. We ended up buying cozy woolen slippers, a backpack, and soft wool t-shirts -- all such high-quality pieces that really stood out. It's one of those streets where shopping feels like an experience in itself, not just an errand.

i'd give zero stars if i could…read more i'd called 15 minutes prior inquiring about a pair of shoes, which i understand likely led to some mixup about the specific pair i was speaking on, but the absolute attitude from the woman at the counter when i walked in was so uncalled for. first of all, i barely even started this conversation with her and she cut me off to let me know "i'm putting these back here so you can't run off with them". she was talking about a tiffany necklace and some earrings. hate to break it to her, i only wear chanel jewellery. what!!!? this is absolutely disgusting and unreasonable. on top of that, she'd treated me like i had no clue what i was talking about. she genuinely sat there and talked to me like i was an imbecile child. the absolute nerve this woman had to treat another woman she met not even 3 minutes ago like this is ridiculous. it's absolutely NOT friendly customer service and i will never come back here. i guarantee if i had been wearing my glasses and had any jewellery in, she would've treated me much differently. sorry, not all of us are trying to get mugged while walking around denver. absolutely disgusting behaviour. nothing and no one here is worth your time.
