I asked if it was ok to leave my bike by the front since I don't have a bike lock and the owner said I can leave it by the counter. I was looking through the fabric and found exactly what I was looking for which made me happy. I had a question about a roller and wanted her opinion to see if it was strong enough to mark denim. Not only was she rude from the start, she told me "do you even know what that is?" I was so shocked and insulted I had to take a moment to collect myself before politely leaving. I was already having a rough day and maybe she was too but if this was about my bike, tell me to come back at another time! I would've understood! Don't tell me it's fine then proceed to be angry at me for it. I think she felt bad because she continued to try to help and guide me but an apology would've made a world of a difference. You don't insult your customers intelligence!

They have sections where they feature local artists and switch them out periodically, the art was amazing. We had a great time looking through all the items and the customer service was exceptional. Someone also had summery clothes laid out for people to take as needed. Made me smile. We passed a cool play structure for small kids in the shape of a honeycomb/hive, with chairs on the side for parents to rest and watch. The efforts of Denver to revitalize their downtown appear to be paying off. I would hang out there more if we lived nearby (between heading out to Golden or the Red Rocks Amphitheater;)). Every time I have visited the 16th Street area, I am always completely underwhelmed. They have some chain restaurants and stores and there are at leave some food options available but absolutely feels like something I would get in the car to go see. I mean they have some little displays with Denver sports legends (like Elway and Sakic) which is kind of cool, but again, there is nothing here to actually get excited about. Also, by 9 pm this place seems to turn into a ghost town. That really surprised me on both visits as well. In my opinion, you could walk through this area one time, take some pics and be done with it. So much space and nothing memorable about most of it. 2 stars.

But the shop has many lovely clothes, suitable for a party, a concert or the theater. So I went to Mariel, and they set me up in a dressing room and kept bringing clothes, many of which I bought.
