Their beer selections and food have been really good at each stop. Months ago, they opened up in the Ghent area. Let's see how this visit turned out. We were greeted once we walked inside. I have to say this Wasserhund location is the most spacious of all. The decor inside is spotless and artwork covers the walls from front to back. It definitely makes you feel welcome. We were ready to order after looking over the meni. I selected the following: -Copper Collar California Common for my beer selection. This one was actually pretty good. It had a bitter taste, but was just fine. When you combine the taste of toasted bread crust, caramel and cocoa, you'll be just satisfied. -Dog Tails for appetizers. Very good stuff. We actually had this at the Chesapeake location and enjoyed it. It wasn't overwhelming with the amount of fried pickles and it wasn't too salty either. -Large Italian Greyhound pizza. The both of us enjoyed this one. We actually ate this at the Virginia Beach location and liked the pizza. The same happened here as well. All the protein, tomatoes and cheese worked together and the pizza itself was baked perfectly. We ended up taking half of it home where it was still good. There you have it. Another Wasserhund visit in the books. You know we'll be back here soon. Till next time :)

Much better than the beach location. Food is always great. Was disappointed that I could not get my dog a pizza to take home. Love this staple! A forever fave!…read more My husband and I dine here a few times throughout the year and it's always a great experience. Our most recent dining experience took place last night early evening if you may... We arrived about 6pm. When we arrived it was only a handful of people present. The server bartender present I believe her name is KARA... She was amazing! We were able to meet the cook and he was super polite. Due to the handful of people there it wasn't a wait to be seated or a wait for our food. Now keep in mind this is a small restaurant so the Ambiance is rather chill so you're not going to go in there and experience anything top-notch but it's definitely a laid back kick it and enjoy the vibe type feel. We ordered side salads to start and the side salads are suffice so if you're thinking about getting a salad a side salad will do you and we both ordered Subs. I ordered the combo sub and my husband ordered the turkey ham and cheese sub both delicious. I highly recommend. So for two side salads and two subs two bags of chips and two rounds of drinks just above $50 and you can't beat that with a bat. Plenty of parking. Thisrestaurant is located in like a strip mall so to speak. I believe there's another restaurant available as well as a barber shop and hair salons and a handful of other stores. If you're the area definitely stop by they have daily specials as well as a happy hour. For Your Entertainment and gaming Pleasures TVs are located behind the bar there's a pool table present as well as some of the gambling slot machines. The restaurant seats about 50 ppl comfortably. The only thing you may be disappointed by is that your stomach simply won't be big enough to try everything on the menu, lol, because trust me, you're going to want to! The food comes out beautifully plated, immaculate, hot, juicy, flavorful, and the portions are generous enough that one plate could easily feed two people,  but trust me, you would not want to share. Every bite is absolutely wonderful. And the ambiance? Amazing. The live music, the atmosphere, the overall experience, truly, I have zero complaints. Now, realistically, you're not going to get along with everybody everywhere you go, because that's simply life But that's also why proper training is so important. You don't just walk into a job and automatically know exactly what to do, especially in an intense industry like the food service, where things can get extremely hectic. Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. I especially want to salute everyone at Peake Tavern, including the owner, who takes the time to make sure everything is superb and that guests have a great experience. That level of care does not go unnoticed. So, if you're in the area visiting Peaks Tavern, GO! You will not be disappointed. And if you somehow are displeased, find me, because I'm confident enough in this food that I'll pay for the meal you weren't pleased with! That's how strongly I believe you're going to love every bite of whatever you order.

She was so friendly , attentive and on top of everything . I have not seen this quality of food and service in many years .We ordered multiple times and had stuff brought out at different times . The mouth watering flavor was seriously top notch . Since I am allergic to shrimp I didn't get to have any but the smell was so good . The guys that ate the shrimp praised them so much I was jealous . They do have live music on certain days , I would check the schedule to see who is playing and if it is your kind of music . If you are looking for a place to hang with friends , grab a cold one or killer food and service then this is your place . I really can wait to be back in the Chesapeake area I could not wish for a better place to eat , be entertained , relax and have perfect service Perfect 10/10 food and service very impressed

Upon walking into the bar you can instantly tell this is a local dive. We sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks and a chicken quesadilla. The service was good! I would return if I found myself in this part of Virginia Beach again, it's a bit cramped inside but it adds to the local feel and I can tell this would be a great place to watch a sporting event!

My boyfriend and I went to Shorebreak for the first US game of the World Cup. As expected, it was an absolute zoo. We didn't have reservations or seats. Somewhat dejected, we approached the packed bar and admittedly, I expected a serious wait before I got a drink. In comes Martina! She almost immediately flagged me over to get a us drink and started my tab. We ended up moving outside and found some seats at the outside bar, so thrilled! Of course, Hannah was quick to take our orders. All was well... then came the rain. It turned into a downpour and we had to rush inside. We wondered about our nacho order while we dripped from the rain, packed into a sea of people. But Hannah found us right away! She got us more drinks and checked on the nachos. She said they were probably cold at this point and insisted that she put them in again. She brought us more drinks and nachos all in the chaos of the night and never forgot about us. At halftime, I realized I needed to close out my tab with Martina at the indoor bar and was dreading it, as it had only gotten more crowded. But once again, immediately upon my return, Martina found me and closed my tab for me. As usual, the food and drinks were delicious. But I really wanted to point out the exemplary service we received (esp by Martina and Hannah) on one of the craziest nights I've ever experienced at Shorebreak! Wonderfully run place, and the service really made the difference between a disastrous night and a memorable one.

This business is connected to Westside burger. Unfortunately they were closed this evening. But The Silos were open for business. They have an inside bar on both sides of the establishment, they have a seating area outside on both sides as well.. and believe it or not there is a rooftop seating area upstairs as well... The waitress was on her job as soon as we walked in making it easy to order food and drinks. There was even a game area to your left when you walk in. The yard area is for the whole family to enjoy. But in order to enjoy rooftop dining you have to be 21 years old or older to enjoy rooftop dining!. The bars offered a full experience of beer, liquor and other alcoholic beverages! I will recommend and definitely return for another great experience!. Another 5 star experience!.

They seem like they have like a lot of games you could play the happy hour seem very appetizing however that was not the case. As soon as we walked in, there was no one to greet us. We had to find our own seating. It was very loud and in the restaurant finally, we found two seats at the bar we sat there. It took about 10 minutes for us to be even greeted by a bartender to take our drinks or give us a menu. Once we're given a menu we order two tequila sunrises, which are decent and we got some shots from some patrons are right next to us, which was nice. After we finished our drinks in our shots, we decided to go to the other side of the restaurant which was more of a country music area with more white people and than Black people. We got two drinks over there same deal with the service not really approachable. The bartenders weren't very attentive. It seemed as those Silos segregated the restaurant because there was a black section which played R&B music and there was a white section that played country music, which wasn't really cool. They really need to decide on what type of restaurant they want to be. I don't think we will be coming back to this restaurant and bar.
