Damage was severe enough that the car had to be towed. Fortunately, no one was injured. Fast forward roughly four weeks and I reclaimed my car today. It was exactly what I expected: impeccably repaired with a paint job--thanks to master painter and WBS owner Danny Avalos, Jr.--that matched the original finish perfectly. While four weeks seemed overly long, my insurance company's adjustor and appraiser were responsible for most of the delay. Throughout the process, shop manager Eric Villa keep me apprised. Price--you can't beat it!

He was willing to wrestle with the other owner's insurance company to get the complicate, multi-panel repair done at a price that worked for me. He also provided service after the initial work, in that he had to order a small part not related to the accident. The best part? Terrific communication! For me years ago repairs were easy, I just gave him the keys. If we didn't it, he'd send it off to someone and it would get done. We weren't a body shop, nor a detail place, but we knew people. I bought my SUV and there was a slight gap at the bumper after about a month, I did take it back and they just pushed it back. Never looked right. but it was okay. Well now this time I did it backing into a garage there was this wrought iron basket, not mine. My bumper caught it and it pulled away. It looked bad and couldn't be ignored. What's damaged, I don't know, do I need a new bumper because something got damaged behind it, again, no clue. I came across Carrectly, was impressed by the reviews, also was impressed by the pics of Dixon P's bumper repair. So I sent an email requesting a quote for the repair. Oliver replied fast with an accurate quote and information. He also answer all questions I had. I decided to give them a try. So glad I did! How much time is wasted on dropping off your vehicle? With them none, same for pick up. Yuri was so pleasant and helpful, I inquired about getting a detail, specifically the inside. It really needed it. He gave me some info, but said I should speak to Oliver. At first I was going to go mini, but then went full. When I inquired he told me what they do for each, there was no upsell, no pressure. I will say it looks beautiful. I also had them do some touch up where the paint came off. The gave the exterior a very good wash. I'm very pleased with the whole process, and recommend them highly. I'm proud to be seen with my vehicle again, instead of walking away quickly. You know how it is when you ride looks trashed. So glad I made this choice.

I approved the extra charge, but when I got my vehicle back, the original issue was still not resolved and my check engine light remained on. They told me they could continue looking into it, but also mentioned that these types of warning signals "sometimes happen," which didn't give me much confidence. On top of that, I noticed my car was returned without proper care there was dirt left in the back seat. At this point, I no longer trust this shop to handle my vehicle. We hoped maybe they could fill it in and paint it over to at least make it look ok. Great service: they gave me an appointment time, and Derek was standing with me looking at the car within 5 minutes of my arrival. Honesty & integrity: he said "let me get the paint off to see how bad it is". He came back with a solution, rubbed the spot, and it wasn't a gouge at all. It was gone. I offered to pay him for the clean up (feeling a little silly to be honest) but he said no problem! I honestly do not understand how this business has received so many positive reviews based on my personal experience. The high ratings make me question how accurately they reflect the customer service and quality of repairs. My vehicle still has the same noise issue that I originally reported, along with several other problems that were never properly addressed. I have tried contacting Liz multiple times, but she has not responded. What is especially frustrating is that communication seemed to stop after the insurance payment was received. I trusted this business to repair my vehicle professionally, but instead, I have been left with unresolved problems and no meaningful follow-up. I cannot speak for other customers or the authenticity of their reviews, but my experience has been completely different from what the high ratings suggest. I had just moved to Chicago for school and a semi-truck hit my small Toyota Corolla from the driver's side. It caused severe damage. After months of dealing with the other party's insurance, I finally got them to agree to pay to fix my vehicle. But then I had to find a place who would be willing to agree with their labor rates. I went to get an opinion of another place and they told me I would probably be paying hundreds of dollars (up to $600) out of pocket for them to be ok to take it and break it apart. And after all that it would just end in total loss. I was so sad. I did not know anyone in Chicago to help me. I am student and didn't have extra money at the moment. And my Corolla was only 3 years old, so pretty new and well taken care of. Then I stopped by River North Collision Repair. Mr. Abel was so professional, so compassionate. I signed a form allowing them to directly communicate with the other party's insurance. In less than one month, my vehicle looked like nothing has happened to it. They fully communicated and dealt with the insurance, I paid ZERO dollars extra for them. I picked up my car fixed and even cleaned on the outside and inside.
