Awkward and cramped for 3 humans. Besides sitting outside, there was no literally nowhere for us to play cards, or eat takeout food. Nice place overall, but I felt a bit duped. We were literally instructed to not post to yelp unless it was five stars and to write them directly, but when I saw another review echoed my experience I just had to.

The property is listed as a B&B on several platforms, the website features breakfast imagery, and the booking form asks for dietary restrictions, so we reasonably assumed breakfast and access to common areas were part of the experience. Instead, Room 2 functions more like a small private room rental with limited access to the house. We were surprised to learn upon arrival that we did not have access to the main house common areas. For us, shared spaces are a major part of what makes staying in a bed and breakfast enjoyable. The room itself was also extremely small. With a queen bed and a twin bed in the room, there was essentially no space to move around comfortably and no seating area at all. For three guests, there was nowhere to sit except on the beds, and simply walking around the room was difficult due to the tight layout. Breakfast was also not served. Two muffins were left for us despite the reservation being for three guests, and despite the booking form asking for dietary restrictions. We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over the years throughout California--both coastal and wine country--and the experiences we've loved have always included warm hospitality, welcoming hosts, shared spaces to relax in, and memorable breakfasts. The common thread in these stays is that guests are encouraged to enjoy the home itself, interact with hosts, and relax in shared spaces. That sense of hospitality and atmosphere is the reason we choose B&Bs. While the building at The Parsonage is historic, Room 2 itself felt very modern and generic rather than reflecting the character of a historic inn. To be fair, the owners later pointed out that the website includes a detailed description and a floor plan showing the limited access for Room 2. However, we found the wording easy to misinterpret when booking, particularly given the B&B categorization, breakfast imagery on the site, and the dietary restriction field in the booking form. At approximately $280 for the night (including a $50 fee for a third guest), the experience did not match what we personally expect from a bed-and-breakfast stay. This room may work fine for travelers who simply want a small private room and plan to spend most of their time out in town. However, for guests specifically seeking the hospitality, shared spaces, and atmosphere that typically define a bed-and-breakfast experience, Room 2 may not meet those expectations.

It made the entire weekend feel so special, connected, and full of love. And the beauty of the venue is honestly hard to put into words. Choosing a venue is such a big decision because it sets the entire tone and vibe of the wedding, and Harmony Ridge Lodge was truly the magical enchanted forest garden party venue of our dreams. Our wedding was on June 13, and the flowers, greenery, trees, and forest backdrop must have been at their absolute peak. Everything felt like it belonged in a fairy tale. The string lights, lanterns, gardens, and surrounding forest made the whole space feel warm, romantic, and magical. We had our rehearsal dinner here too, and brought in some Mexican catering, which ended up being a great way to maximize our time at the venue and it was so fun! For other engaged couples navigating the venue layout: there are many options for where to have your ceremony ( in the forest or gazebo), and dancing (renting a dance floor to have near the dinner area or the dance pad out front). We had our ceremony at the gazebo which was epic and beautiful and our dance party out front at the dance pad. Up until the wedding itself, I was worried that having dinner and dancing in separate spaces would split up the guests, but it ended up being perfect. Everyone was on the dance pad all night, there was so much space, and it looked so beautiful once the lights came on. It created such a fun and lively atmosphere. The breakfast was also incredible. Our chef was amazing, and we had several vegan guests who were so grateful to have thoughtful vegan options that actually had protein, flavor, and care put into them instead of just toast and fruit. Walking into the house, my girlfriend and I were transported into what felt like snow white's wonderland cabin. The teacups on the ceiling, the wood slab table with pie plates, the velvet couches... there are cozy little details everywhere; the more we looked, the more we were amazed. We were greeted by Priya, the owner of Flume's End who is a one-woman show. Her energy was contagious and I immediately felt at home. She showed us to our room, the Empire Suite, which has a huge bed, a gorgeous bathroom, and its own outside patio balcony. This is an all inclusive experience. Priya likes to leave out cookies for guests as "midnight snacks," and there's hot cocoa and coffee available all day! I can't say enough about the breakfast, which had everything you could ask for. Can we talk about the little parfait cups?!? And the mini egg dishes? I was living in tea party heaven. You can't beat staying at Flume's End. It's a 5 minute walk into downtown, and the backyard is a fairy forest that you can wander around and enjoy day & night. We'll be back!

A street runs right outside this window thus a privacy curtain is needed. A very easy walk to the old town center with lots of tourist trap shops and a few nice eateries. The chocolate shop is not to be missed as is the updated Mediterranean restaurant.

It does remind you of olden days because it looks like it hasnt been updated since the 70s. Tiny rooms, bedspread looks dirty, and food from the previous renter was still in the fridge. They promote a pool but was told it was closed until it can be inspected and no date was given. I unfortucnately pre-paid based on the positive reviews and now am stuck here for 3 days. I cant imagine where other reviewers stayed previously that they gave this place 5 stars.
