This is a smallish, unassuming, dare I say, typical Mexican restaurant. What makes it dissent is the service and the food. The waitresses were always smiling and ready to help. The food was great. The guacamole was really simple but so delicious. It was served in the avocado skin, which made it difficult to eat without getting some on your hands, but that's just an excuse to lock your hands... The shrimp quesadilla were really shrimp tacos.. but delicious.. The shrimp fajitas were also very flavorful.. but the tails still had the shell on, which was inconvenient. The rice and beans were fine. The fish on garlic sauce was amazing. The fish fell apart like butter, the sauce was garlicy in all the right ways and not overpowering. Lovely service both server and cooks, clearly well-intentioned staff. Food unfortunately wasn't good. Mole itself was solid, but the meal was disappointing and mostly was tossed. Ingredients weren't the best or fresh. Shrimp were slightly overcooked, likely because they were finely chopped for some reason in the enchiladas. I had tried, brought and ate the carne asada with grilled cactus that it comes with tortilla, guacamole, rice and beans including a good side of radish, jalapeños and red and green sauce to make it tasty and quite spicy. Their menu also has plenty of other options - we really like their quesadillas too. The staff are always friendly and it's conveniently located next to a subway station. This restaurant is easy to miss since it's nestled within the car dealerships and repair shops in the area. It is a good, clean and friendly Mexican restaurant in the community. The service is very friendly. Prices are average. I had the carne flautas and an al pastor taco. The flautas are a type of fried tortilla stuffed with meat and topped with cheese and sour cream. Each order comes with three and a choice of rice, beans, or salad. I chose the salad. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and colorful salad since I was expecting something basic. There were avocado, radish, orange slices, bell peppers, broccoli, onions and iceberg lettuce. It was the first time I had flautas, but it tasted decently good. The tortilla was nice and crispy, but the meat in one of the flautas was a bit tough to chew and bite apart due to the tendons. The al pastor taco was good with a bit of lime juice. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, and a can of selzer to stay. I left 20% tip. Anyone want to guess the price? Here it is: $28 and change. I know we live in inflation times but this is a bit excessive. Now having said that, the mole sauce was incredible. Spicy, but very good. The enchiladas were good. The rice and beans were way better than expected. From upon walking in the ambiance is absolutely amazing, all of the staff are amazing. There is an open area into the kitchen so that you can see the chefs working on orders. Despite it being a smaller restaurant the food quality is amazing. Everything is always so fresh, I highly recommend their quesadillas, their burritos, tacos, and their steak. They are all my personal favorites. When I can't go in person I also order delivery. Their prices are extremely reasonable. Dropped my car off at Subaru for service and wanted to grab breakfast and this was around the corner. What a clean, cute restaurant. I decided to try this place out for breakfast (you can't really mess up breakfast, right?) I ordered a breakfast platter: 2 eggs over easy, sausage, home fries and toast A small cappuccino 2 tamales, 1 red 1 green $16.50 I should've changed my order when the polite waitress didn't know what over easy eggs were but I didn't and that is my own fault. I got white dry bread barely toasted, home fries that were just as white. The thing that destroyed my breakfast were the hot dogs I got instead of sausage. All I ate were 2 pieces of white bread and the eggs. The cappuccino had the right amount of foam but still tasted very light, so I think they'd do better with a different espresso brand. The tamales were ok for $1.50 the red one wasn't very tasty, kind of flavorless and needed salt. The green one was way more tasty and if you're going to try this place, don't go for breakfast. My rating is for the food I received, I didn't sample lunch or dinner plates to give the whole restaurant a rating. But I won't be going back to sample anything else. read more

Truly in utter shock, I have previously ordered from here many times before but today was a total let down. I had ordered a Cemita, which the main ingredients consist of papalos and chipotle, what i received was something that resembled a torta, it had lettuce and tomato in place of them. I called to complain as to how could we have possibly received a cemita without the main ingredients that make a cemita a CEMITA? So the lady that had taken the order apologized and said she'd send over the correct order. We waited another 25 min or so and the delivery guy handed me a bag, it was unusually light and i happened to look inside the bag and noticed to small plastic containers, i immediately ran after the guy telling him all i received was a sauce. And as i took the small items outside the bag i noticed it was literally chipotle and small leaves of papalos. I stood there baffled and thought this was somekind of joke! Are they serious?! I literally had thrown out the cemita in the trash thinking i was going to received ny correct order, not literally just the ingredients that were missing from the cemita. I asked for the chicken enchiladas in mole sauce, and they were the best I've had in a very long time. The chicken was very fresh and mole sauce was of a superior quality and taste.
