Wife and I ate it when we got home and DANG... so good. i've only had a few pupusas in my life but it was so delicious. the thick outer tortilla was perfectly crisp but chewy and the filling was so flavorful. so.... after a few hours, we went back to eat dinner there lol We got some more pupusas but the revuelta def was the best. We also got the baleada con todo which was so good! (had to look up what a baleada was) i'm not big on beans but all the ingredients were delicious and worked well together. prices were very good too. doesn't feel like stressing your wallet to have a nice meal outside. service was great but food takes a bit to come out but overall, this place is amazing and we'll def be back.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, with generous portion sizes. We especially appreciated that the menu included photos, which made it so much easier to decide what to order. The staff could not have been nicer. Several members of the management team stopped by our table throughout the evening to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our experience. Service was quick and attentive, and the ambience is beautiful--warm, inviting, and a great place for dinner. Our only critique was the chicharrón, which was quite dry and chewy and didn't seem as fresh as the rest of the meal. Everything else was excellent. So happy we finally checked this place out after all these years. We'll definitely be back!

Besides almost every table full at 1:15 lunch...including the back room and it is a large restaurant. We were seated without a wait. Took longer to navigate the huge menu. Hubby and I just wanted a light lunch. He ordered the chicken wings and I ordered the "fish" sandwich w/o cheese. Unfortunately, I was served the chicken sandwich not the requested fish sandwich. It still came with avacado, onions, tomato and lettuce. (No cheese as requested). Once I took a bite I realized I had the wrong sandwich. I was disappointed. Waiter apologized and offered to switch it up...I can see he felt bad and we were not quite sure where we both messed up...could have been me? Him? Not a big deal...I just kept it and enjoyed. Chicken was slighty dry (cheese would have fixed the dryness) but seasoned perfectly. It was a large sandwich with two layers of thin grilled chicken. I would split it next time. I like the way it was served...wrapped in a paper. I requested un-seasoned fries and my request was honored. It was all a generous portion. The restaurant is high energy, food around us all looked delicious and fresh, cocktails looked really good...I wanted to taste the cappuccino martini next to us...tempting to order one. Service was timely, friendly and efficient. Noise level a tad high however it was easy enough to carry on a conversation. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The service was spotty and inattentive, and the ribeye was honestly just bad. We ordered it medium rare and it came out rare. It was thick enough and undercooked enough that we sent it back. Even aside from the temperature, the steak itself was disappointing. The tostones were bland, and the sauce served with it basically tasted like ground-up garlic mixed with mayonnaise. Not good. And check your bill. An 18% gratuity had already been added before we were given the opportunity to tip, which was particularly frustrating considering the level of service we received. If a gratuity is going to be automatically added, that should be made very clear. Great cocktails and an absolutely delicious shrimp and chorizo appetizer, but overall the experience was disappointing -- especially the steak and the service.

As soon as we sat down our waitress came to take our order and the food came out quickly. I would suggest they hire more help because our waitress was scarce. She was working too many tables. Apparently they have another room around the corner for large crowds to watch the soccer tournaments so she was working that room and the main room too so it took a long time for her to come back around to us. In fact, I had to go upfront to ask the owner to melt the cheese on my Cuban sandwich cause it took her too long to come back. Also, when I asked for mustard for my Cuban sandwich because I couldn't taste the mustard she told me without going into the kitchen to find out if they have mustard that the restaurant doesn't have mustard. When I told my granddaughter to show her from the menu that mustard comes the Cuban sandwich she looked stupid and retreated to the kitchen and came back with a small cup of Dijon mustard. The Caribbean rice was trash. They should take it off the menu. The fries were awesome. The skirt steak was okay. The waffles and chicken were decent. The pork dumplings were tasty. The chicken empanadas were good but I've had better at The Cuban Inn in Tarrytown. The panini Cuban sandwich was not good even with the missing mustard I got from the kitchen. I would not order it again. I would go back but would try something different next time before writing them off altogether.
