This is our go to place for tacos but they really dropped the ball last night. The wait was long, at the end we were told that a big party had come in and cleared out the prepped food. That is something that they could have said up front to let us know and given us the choice to wait or go. So, we finally get the food and it is so boring and wrong. We paid $50.00 for the combination steak and pork El Pastor, we only got steak with no seasoning, not even salt. If you ran out of the El Pastor, say something!The container of beans, all liquid only half full with beans. I feel ripped off on so many levels. It was so bland, that's right a white man is calling this meal bland. Please do better I would hate to have to find a new taco place. read more

Sadly didn't get to taste the food! Service was ok but only becuase the girl at the front took my order and charged me mind you! After a 10 minute wait she comes out and informs me that the manager says they can't sell promotion tacos to go?!! After they charged me!? I ordered a dozen to go and left with a big goose egg!!! Can't believe I'm an EP native and had never been here. This location came highly recommended. When you sit down you are welcomed by complimentary salsa and tostada chips and a plate of jicama carrots and cucumber with chili powder. The 3 salsas are spicy and delicious. You know it's more than likely gonna be good if the salsas are good. My date recommended the tripitas and pastor so I ordered a six pack of that combination. The tripitas were cooked to a crispy perfection. The al pastor was so well seasoned and mighty flavorful. We also ordered the choriqueso with rajas. Yummmmm. Came here once at 9pm, they were cleaning everything as if it were 10pm already. My family and I ordered some tacos and we were watching a football game as we ate. They turned off all the tv's at like 9:30. We kindly asked if they could turn the tv on again just while we finished eating. One server, some short chubby girl, made a face at us. They didn't turn the tv on. Mind you, we finished eating before 10pm which is when they close. We felt rushed. Might as well close at 9pm if they're all so desperate to leave before 10. But then they'd probably be doing the same thing over again and start cleaning at 8. Went in a second time, got there at 9:30pm after work for a quick meal and they said I couldn't eat in. Seriously? The food was good but the service sucks. Not worth coming back for good food if the service is shit. I'll take my money elsewhere until they get new staff who actually care about making money. read more

Anytime we go visit El Paso we always go to one of the El Toro Bronco locations.... I am so glad I found this one! The decoration makes me feel as though I am in Mexico! We went on a Friday evening and the atmosphere was fun. We were seated quickly and very shortly thereafter we were given chips, cucumbers, jicama, and a variety of sauces. We ordered the parrillada for 2 with beef and chicken. This platter comes with beans, two big potatoes, melted cheese, grilled onions, and of course the meat. They also include jalapenos & Long green chile. The servers are attentive, speak both English and Spanish, and the food it's flavorful, not greasy, and delicious AF. The prices are very reasonable and we had plenty of leftovers to take back to my mom's house. I highly recommend this place! The first time I came here I had no idea what was happening! But now it's one my favorites. Warning, the menu is all in Spanish and the servers speak Spanish most the time as well. But they work with you. The food is always good. The chips and salsas, veggies, and ranchero beans are complimentary. The tacos are your choice of meat and come with avocado. An the best papas around. You can also occasionally catch some mariachis too. Had to hold back that 5th star because occasionally they get very busy and your service suffers and there's minimal parking. But still my go to for tacos anytime. read more

This place is sooo good!! Parking is small but they do have an extra parking lot across the street. Open seating so you walk in and find your own table. You do get chips & salsa while you order & wait. So it's kind of like an open floor plan which kinda sucks because you see all the servers huddled together talking & laughing.(I've worked in restaurants & being seen talking & laughing in front of guest is frowned upon maybe just me) I wasn't too crazy about the tostadas either they're under a heat lamp and it looks like they've been there a few days.. our food was great we got the pastor combo which comes with a drink, a baked potato, and your 4 pastor tacos. They were amazing! We went on a Saturday evening there was a two man band with a sax & a guitar they really set the mood! Would definitely comeback definitely recommend! The staff is very rude, I didn't even stay long enough to look at prices on the dirty soaked menu that was dripping all over the table. I wanted to give this place 5 stars. I really did. The atmosphere was very authentically Mexican, the service was friendly and prompt, and the dishes were delicious. That is, except the "carne asada". Sadly it was very poor quality, full of gristle and fat. We couldn't eat it, which meant we couldn't eat half our meal since we ordered one of the "comaleros", half "al pastor" and half "carne asada". I think we'll come back once more, but if the beef is this bad again, then we're done. read more
