First time having birria tacos and Delectacos did not disappoint. We were not dining in and picking up to go, so we were trying to order ahead of time but they didn't have a website to order from and when we tried dialing in, they call went straight to voicemail. Heads up there! When we arrived at the place, we placed our order and it didn't take long to come out maybe 10ish minutes or so. Below was our order- 1 order of the regular birria tacos 2 orders of the quesabirria tacos 1 birria burrito 4 aguas frescas I had the quesabirria tacos and they were spectacular! Delectacos wasn't stingy in the birria in the tacos, and the consomé was delicious. 0 complaints on the tacos, they were great! I couldn't finish all 4, only had 3. The aguas frescas are huge! So maybe order one and share with someone. The overall price was about $70 so I dk if that's on the pricier side or not, but it felt like it was a bit. Family friendly location, music playing was great. I ordered the quesatacos de birria (beef) with consommé. Overall, the tacos were great. I will say that next time, I'll probably just get the birria, with no cheese, as I found them a little too cheesy, but the meat was delicious, and the consommé just right. The meat was very clean, not too greasy. You get 4 tacos with the consommé and purple onion and cilantro. Who can resist Birria Tacos? Not me. I came here after looking for Birria places with great reviews. It was midday and not busy. I was seated right away and staff was friendly. I ordered the Aguas Fresca (Lime) and the Birria Tacos with consomé. It was the perfect match. They have a salsa bar that has fresh salsa's, pico de gallo, and other toppings. As excited as I was to try it, I gotta admit I was disappointed when I popped open the box at home and saw what my order looked like. Driving through and stopped by with my friend. Initially i was gonna ask for the suadero campechano but the waitress said the tripas are mixed in with the rest of the meat and I hate a soggy tripita so opted for al pastor. Although the al pastor was good, the suadero was better. I might go back for it later. The salsa could be hotter but I like the tacos comes with a baked potato. The agua de piña was ok. Tacos are great. The Service was horrible. Asked for chips never brought them. Asked to buy an order of tacos. They made the order wrong. Waited for them to correct it, the order never came. We werent done eating and they were already picking up stuff from our table. Our waitress was in a hurry leaving the table she would walk away while we were talking to her. I finally found a place who does Birria tacos the way I like it. I was actually dipping a CRISPY taco into the consume' instead of dipping a "quesadilla" like soft taco. Everything was full of flavor! The only complaint I do have is that there was not a lot of meat in these, but they do give you 4 so it was enough for me.
