My coworker and I dine here regularly on Taco Tuesday. Compliments to Manager Lorena for rolling up her sleeves and assisting wherever help was needed. From dishing up al pastor at the taco bar to bringing chiles guerros to our table, she definitely went the extra mile. Also the tacos, chips, and salsa are always delicious. read more

This location is exceptionally great with their food and service! Food: I've been here a few times. My happy hour go-to are the sopes. I also enjoy the spinach enchiladas and new taco Tuesday bar. The food is usually made fairly quickly and comes out hot. Unlike other locations, the rice and beans are always on point there. They are always quick to bring out chips and salsa once you get seated. Service: Excellent customer service here! The servers and bartenders are so friendly and really make the experience so much better. Parking: There is tons located in the plaza. Wifi: Available and easy to connect to Restrooms are available. The bar is usually louder. The main restuarant has both booth and table style seating. High chairs are available. Family-friendly. read more

Everybody is stank af for no reason, seemed like nobody wanted to do their job including the management. Manager spilled a drink on my niece and couldn't even replace it after. Took ages for them to grab anything we asked for like silverware that we still didn't have by the time we got our food. There was way too many people working and standing around for service to be so shitty and why are ALL of you mad??? Nobody told u to work there please find a different job read more

I came here to celebrate earning my doctorate and getting a promotion. It's the ONLY place you want to go for an all you can eat brunch!! This place is absolutely amazing. The service was phenomenal. The food, exceptional! And the service (Ms. Fernanda) made us feel important and valued. This will be a monthly trip for us. The ambiance was exactly what we needed. Beautiful location, outdoor seating, TVs, good company. The price was perfect for all that you get...a huge array of different authentic Mexican food and American breakfast. It was overall a fantastic Sunday. read more

The ambiance is chill they have good music playing in the backgrounds , it's not too loud. The service is great everytime I've been there my waiters have been great. The food I think is ok for the price that it is maybe some more expensive than others but it could be better. For 3 birria tacos rice & beans it was about 20$ but the tortillas were cold, they werent crisp & you couldn't taste much of the flavor. read more

Food- good Salads- good Service- Horrible arrived at 12 it's 1:00 pm and the food is still not ready. One server for the entire bar (12 tables). Server never smiles, never apologized for the late service. Oblivious! So irritating. Ambience- good read more

Visited El Torito on a Tuesday evening, was not that busy. Ordered a drink and water with my family. Was given menu's and waited 30 Minutes before we got up to leave. Paid for my drink at the bar. Went for lunch today. They sat us at one table then moved us for " better service." Just wish that had been true. The service was so slow. Had one person who tender bar and was also expected to wait in tables if you weren't ordering alcohol you were ignored. . Food was mediocre.the chicken fajitas were dry. And tasteless.if you work and want to go here for lunch, you will need 2 hours.I would not recommend such a shame they used to be a decent place to go eat read more

SURCHARGES, - this restaurant is still charging surcharges. For those of you that don't know about this. It was a charge restaurants charged during covid for serving you, their healthcare and passed on that cost onto US the customer. Which I was okay with back than. These El Torito restaurants are still charging that cost. The workers healthcare and cost are priced in the cost of the food and drinks. It might not be a lot but that's something to keep an eye out for. The food was okay, I had the supreme fajitas and 2 drinks. Not impressed and the food has lost its authenticity but still good if you're hungry. 3 stars only read more

The El Torito at the Riverside Plaza has been our favorite go-to place for a relaxed and tasty dinner for several years now. The service never disappoints. Today, Alondra was our server, and was friendly, quick, and accurate. Edwin brought us our food (and I think recognized us, as we come often). He always has such a friendly and happy demeanor, and he always makes us smile. We generally try to sit on the patio so that we can order some items off the Happy Hour menu, and it has wonderful ambience, especially once the sun goes down and the globe string lights are blazing. Thank you again for another wonderful experience. read more

It is sad for our family to post this review. We used to go almost everyday and we had our birthdays there. But the owner or owners need to be aware that there has been a downfall in the overall experience at El Torito at Riverside Plaza in Riverside. Great employees have left and even great managers got transferred. People that made customers feel as if they were in a warm and family environment. Currently, as you enter this location you notice that there is a toxic environment. There is tension everywhere between employees and management. The current management team is not even close to what it was 4 years ago. As I said in the beginning of this review, it is sad for us because this El Torito was our favorite place. read more

Juan C is the is the best! We appreciated his great service and attentiveness to our table although it was a busy brunch!

Sunday brunch baby. Too much too chose. Extremely clean and well orchestrated with the staff. OMG. Worth every penny.

Sunday Brunch was top notch I haven't been in a few years but I'll be sure to come back sooner just because of unity server, Victor Perez. Our bottomless mimosas never went dry Food was better than I remember as well. Plus they have more options now too, including steak! read more

They finally brought back the wings and they are disgusting. They stopped using homemade ranch. As if waiting 40 minutes for service wasn't bad enough. I love this place and I often want to go there and have their food and enjoy a few drinks but the service and now the food quality going down just kind of make it unbearable. The Flautas were so mushy, how do you mess up flautas? Such an easy staple. And the fish tacos were stinky it was disgusting. Tried contacting corporate but no answer. Really sad. read more

Juan, PJ, and Jocelyn are amazing!!! They were super attentive and so diligent in their work. We were always being checked on and asked if we wanted refills of anything. PJ stepped in at one point because Juan was handling multiple large parties and that means a lot. We didn't even need extra support but I'm glad without asking they still stepped in. I love this El Torito location, it's truly the best. It's so affordable and the food is soooo yummy. The bottomless mimosas don't hurt either. read more

Hadn't been to this particular El Torito, but had a couple hours before my appt at 3p nearby. I was promptly & professionally greeted and elected to sit in the bar. The hostess explained that they were serving a large party of 20 and service may be slower than normal. Even though they were extremely busy, the service was good, the restaurant was clean and the food and drinks were great. The communication was admirable, considering the circumstances and the waitresses were very attentive. read more
