Bryan G.

The flavors are always amazing, and the customer service is great! It always seems busy, and they always have music playing to set the perfect ambiance

We stopped in for a midweek lunch and were immediately impressed by the beautiful, quaint atmosphere. The restaurant has a wonderful Caribbean Latin feel with thoughtful decor that makes the space warm and inviting. Our server, Javier, provided excellent service. He was attentive, friendly, and prompt throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. We tried the Yum-Numb Shrimp, Coconut Curry Chicken Empanadas, the Steak frites, Plantanos and the Taste of Key lime dessert. Every dish was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere made our anniversary lunch a memorable experience. We'll definitely be coming back to Lita to explore more of the menu and try some of the other dishes. Highly recommend giving this place a visit!

Orders: Lita Oxtail taco $29- the oxtail is braised w/such savory depth that it doesn't need any sauce to complete it. Love the creative macaroni pie added to this taco. In the future I would order the Braised Oxtail to share bc it reminded me of when my grandmother would make this. Dessert: Chocolate Passionfruit Cake $13:FYI:this is a gluten free dessert that is decadently rich w/Valrhona chocolate, Passionfruit sauce & a ganache glaze. WOW! Is how my 1st impression was. I was completely blown away at how rich & curated this was. It was one I'll have to always order when I come back. Loved the ambiance, the food & the neighborhood.

I've made my way through a bit of the menu, but on a typical gloomy day in Pacifica, for me, nothing beats the aji de gallina. The ceviches and empanadas are unbeatable. I'm also a mac n' cheese fiend, and thoroughly enjoyed their Macaroni with huancaina sauce. The staff is always friendly and inviting. I love bringing new people here.

My friend and I split the Plaintains, squid ink pasta with seafood, and a pork dish, all of which was good. Allergic friend had a plate piled with veggies, and she said it was good. The friend who had the bronzino said it was great. Service was fairly attentive, except that we had a fifth person join us late, and it would've been ideal if someone had come to take his order sooner. Drinks: I had an NA beer, which was nice, but one friend hated the white wine he ordered - if they'd had him taste it before bringing him a glass, that would've been better. My other friends had mojitos and said they didn't like the coconut rum, and would've preferred if it hadn't been flavored. Ambiance on a Sunday night was the same as I remembered when I went a year earlier - mostly groups eating near us, large TVs on the far wall showing soccer. Not a quiet place I'd want to go on a date. Note that this place is not cheap - entrees run around $40 each.

We experienced great service as they were able to accommodate us for last minute reservation changes, even for a large group. Additionally, I was immediately greeted by the team for my birthday. We were obsessed with each dish. Arroz con mariscos paella, 11/10 filled me up and had generous portions of seafood! Yuca frita 10/10 can't go wrong, nice sauce pairing Plátanos fritos 10/10 the tamarind sauce was tangy and yummy. I've never had sauce like that! Overall you really can't miss with anything you order. The churrasco ordered by my neighbor looked bomb too. There's plenty of space for large groups which is why Parada won me over instead of Limon which I frequent. There's a lot of parking available and options of outdoor and indoor seating. Nice ambiance, they have a full bar and TVs for sports.

I know that Peruvian food is delicious (based on the numerous suggestions I receive from my colleagues), however, this is unfortunately not the place to try Peruvian food for the first time. Their food is nowhere near terrible at all, but it just didn't stand out enough for me. Just decent all around, but with a higher price point. A common issue around the dishes we tried is the lack of taste. A tad bit more of the basic salt and pepper can elevate the dishes. I'd say their empanadas were my favorite - stuffed and flaky. Customer service was great, no complaints there at all.
