    Mortadella & Brie Sandwich

2 reviews in a month let alone less than 2 weeks apart that's how you know I can't make this up ! They're that good ! I Told the wife I'd be back in soon . This time I got the Italian cold cut and the dip . Also a few of the sausages . She always has a nice welcoming vibe to her and they were playing classics inside . Cute clean per usual . But the sandwiches !!!! Did I say last time they make the bread fresh every day ! The Italian cold cut was so fresh . Meat thinly sliced and stacked to perfection. Literally you don't need to add nothing to their sandwiches what's so ever ! And every bite it's like biting into a cloud ! The bread is so soft , perfect amount of cheese like . So big it lasted me till the next day ! They are my favorite Italian deli as of right now !!! Actually I don't think I've ever been to one like this at all ! Also tried the dip . It's smaller than the cold cut but sooo rich in flavor like robust! Meat was tender . The sauce was perfect not salty at all . The sausages we used for breakfast and everyone loved them ! Honorable mention : whatever they do to the arugula is lowkey but high key what sets it off with the freshness of everything ... but the dressing on that arugula = yummy !!! Come come come if you haven't yet come and if you have before, come and try them again because I can't see them failing in my eyes !!!

I discovered this spot through a viral video on Instagram. When we arrived, two of their most popular sandwiches (which were featured in the viral video) had been sold out, so we were unable to try them. That just means another opportunity to visit later! The shop itself is small, but mighty. They have a limited menu of cold or hot sandwiches as well as cannolis, fresh sausage, red sauce, and small marketplace-like items to purchase to go. My boyfriend and I shared the Italian smash Sando. I think what impressed me most was that not only was it made with their fresh sausage, but it is also made with their own focaccia bread. All the ingredients just felt so fresh and flavorful. The sandwiches are on the higher end, but it easily serves two people making it such a great deal. We also bought two cannolis to try. The original was definitely my favorite! The employees there were also very friendly and helpful when it came to deciding which sandwich to order. Overall, this was a great experience!

Holy SH*T and excuse the language but I feel like I discovered GOLD! Gold sandwiches that's for damn certain! First time checking this place out after ordering a lasagna for Easter. Thought I'd give a couple of sandwiches a try and so happy I did! The Hazy Cowboy is just bursting with flavor that made me eat the whole half in about 10 minutes. The Italian Cold Cut is so huge I couldn't fit it in my mouth and that's crazy because I have a big mouth! LOL! They were both so delicious and I'm looking forward to the next visit. The service was fast and very friendly. I was also given instructions on how to heat up the lasagna I took to go. Can't wait to try that tomorrow too! Hidden spot in Pittsburg that definitely is a GEM worth trying!

Normally I see prices at sandwich shops and get annoyed. Not bad price on first look (comparatively nowadays), and definitely no question about worth of sandwich when I got it; if anything, was a deal. Huge, fresh, unique and amazing to the last bite. I was audibly "mmm"ing the whole meal. Employee (maybe owner) suggested the hazy cowboy and it did not disappoint. Any Italian place should always offer cannoli's in my opinion and they do, and pretty good. I would honestly travel back to this city for this place. Curious to try the sausage to grill up at home.

This was my second time here. I got the hot Italian Dip sandwich and it was amazing. The sandwich was so full of flavor but the Au Jus put it over the top. I also had a lemon Cannoli which was also very good!!!

I don't go to very mini sandwich places but I saw the pictures of the sandwich online and it looked really good. When I first walked in I was greeted with a smile from the lady at the front. She was warm and welcoming and asked what I wanted. I gave her my order of Italian sandwich with focaccia. Then she asked if I wanted a cannoli and then they had some pesto pasta. I'm a big fan of pesto so I gave that a shot. The sandwich is wonderful. It's one of the best things I've had in a long time sandwich wise. The ratio of meat to bread is what Italian sandwiches are all about. The ingredients tasted fresh and the homemade focaccia bread okay is super soft and flavorful. I would order the bread alone if that was all I was craving. The bread is out of this world. The pesto salad. I have no idea what's in it besides pesto tomatoes, the pasta and some sort of nut but it all hits differently. I usually just get pesto salad from Safeway or something like that, but this place alone changed my perspective of the pesto salad. The banana cream canola is not too hard. Has a nice crunch to it. The banana cream itself isn't too sweet. It is a delight to eat. You don't feel sick from too much sugar after eating it. You can eat a few of these and be okay but I think about one or two of these is good enough. I'm going to come back here again and try out their smash sandwich. I'm sure it's as good as the normal sandwiches, but since that was already so good I need to try the other items on the menu also.

Italian sandwich. Just one. Feeds two

Update. Sausages were excellent . We also had the take and bake lasagna which was amazing and and perfect family meal for a get together I didn't want to cook for. We have nothing but good to say about paulos

Good service. I've heard about this place from friends and finally got to try it out.

We first tried Paulo Sausage at The Beer Aisle in Oakley. We ordered the Italian dip as a plate with no bread, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were bold, the sausage was perfect. We appreciated how accommodating they were with this odd request. Today we ordered sandwiches, and they were incredible. The bread was fresh, the meat was packed with flavor. The large parking area makes it easy to stop by, and the shaded outdoor seating is a perfect touch. Plus, the staff is always welcoming and happy to accommodate special requests. Whether you're a sandwich lover or just appreciate great food and service, Paulo Sausage is a must-visit.

Lives up to the hype!! I had the Hazy Cowboy Smash Sandwich. Possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread which I believe was focaccia was so damn great. Everything in the sandwich worked perfectly together. My son had the Italian Cold Cut Sandwich. I tired a bite of it, and it was really really good. The bread once again was amazing. All topping very fresh. We didn't customize anything on either sandwich. Probably would add some condiments like a garlic aioli or something just to give it a little something extra. The sandwiches are a bit expensive, but they're also much larger than pretty much anywhere I've been. Also with the fresh & delicious ingredients it's definitely worth it. A lot of people could probably be content with half a sandwich. We took a couple pounds of sausages to go. Haven't tried them yet, it they look amazing in the display. Also ordered a few Biscoff cannoli. They were amazing, but I forgot to take a pic. Ate them too quick lol. The service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Place is clean, and there's limited indoor seating and two tables out front. Can't wait to go back !!

I had to come and try this week's special after seeing it online...RUN do not walk before it's not on the menu. This was so amazing! I'm upset I agreed to split the sandwich with someone. The meat is so flavorful and juicy, the pesto mixes well with the garlic aioli, and the crispy onion bits gives a best crunch. I'm sad this is just a special because it's definitely my favorite sandwich I've tried from them and I would hate to see it go.

Ok, tried the Italian Dip 5/5, Mortadella and Brie 5/5, now the Italian Cold Cut Sandwich. Do I need to say it? 5/5. Apparently, Paulo Sausage CAN'T make a bad sandwich. Oh, BTW, they make awesome sausages too

I didn't know till after the purchase so I grabbed a water to purchase, but the short girl had walked away already and was sweeping the floor, never acknowledged me again. So the other worker rung me up for the water. But the short register girl kept looking at me when we sat down at the table. It was odd to get stared down and dirty looks for sitting down to eat, something we purchased. They said nothing as we were leaving and the short girl just stared as I was leaving. Never experienced so many dirty looks from a business establishment ever. I'd been here one other time and the service wasn't stellar but no where near what we experienced today. This message is purely on the price and the service of things I came in with my 2 daughters and ordered a total of 5 sandwiches, 3 of which were literally ham and cheese for my obvious 2 daughters that were with me and 1 for my son who was at home when asked if plain I said yes they just want ham and cheese and plain no mayo on one due to my small daughter being picky on sliced bread at that.. He makes them and it comes out to 70 dollars.. I had to get more money as my husband had sent it to me , the guy who made my sandwiches told the guy that I needed to pay and the shorter guy replied to him like yeah I told her, but she needs more money. I kind of felt embarrassed due to the tone he had said it in, needless to say when I was paying, I said something along the lines of $70 was kind of a lot. I didn't know that ham and cheese for a kid would be this expensive in which the guy replied we have kids sandwiches All you have to do is ask... I did not feel like that was a kind response..as again there was attitude.. I paid anyway and I get it things are expensive nowadays and something like a ham and cheese I probably could've made at home but decided to support a local business instead... suggest maybe adding kid options to the menu that's up above and a smile would go very far. I won't be going here again unfortunately.
