This was delicious and HUGE

Holy SH*T and excuse the language but I feel like I discovered GOLD! Gold sandwiches that's for damn certain! First time checking this place out after ordering a lasagna for Easter. Thought I'd give a couple of sandwiches a try and so happy I did! The Hazy Cowboy is just bursting with flavor that made me eat the whole half in about 10 minutes. The Italian Cold Cut is so huge I couldn't fit it in my mouth and that's crazy because I have a big mouth! LOL! They were both so delicious and I'm looking forward to the next visit. The service was fast and very friendly. I was also given instructions on how to heat up the lasagna I took to go. Can't wait to try that tomorrow too! Hidden spot in Pittsburg that definitely is a GEM worth trying!

I discovered this spot through a viral video on Instagram. When we arrived, two of their most popular sandwiches (which were featured in the viral video) had been sold out, so we were unable to try them. That just means another opportunity to visit later! The shop itself is small, but mighty. They have a limited menu of cold or hot sandwiches as well as cannolis, fresh sausage, red sauce, and small marketplace-like items to purchase to go. My boyfriend and I shared the Italian smash Sando. I think what impressed me most was that not only was it made with their fresh sausage, but it is also made with their own focaccia bread. All the ingredients just felt so fresh and flavorful. The sandwiches are on the higher end, but it easily serves two people making it such a great deal. We also bought two cannolis to try. The original was definitely my favorite! The employees there were also very friendly and helpful when it came to deciding which sandwich to order. Overall, this was a great experience!

This was my second time here. I got the hot Italian Dip sandwich and it was amazing. The sandwich was so full of flavor but the Au Jus put it over the top. I also had a lemon Cannoli which was also very good!!!

Hazy Cowboy Smash is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!! Thought it might have to much heat but the balsamic bbq sauce calms it down a lot. 10/10

Good service. I've heard about this place from friends and finally got to try it out.

I don't go to very mini sandwich places but I saw the pictures of the sandwich online and it looked really good. When I first walked in I was greeted with a smile from the lady at the front. She was warm and welcoming and asked what I wanted. I gave her my order of Italian sandwich with focaccia. Then she asked if I wanted a cannoli and then they had some pesto pasta. I'm a big fan of pesto so I gave that a shot. The sandwich is wonderful. It's one of the best things I've had in a long time sandwich wise. The ratio of meat to bread is what Italian sandwiches are all about. The ingredients tasted fresh and the homemade focaccia bread okay is super soft and flavorful. I would order the bread alone if that was all I was craving. The bread is out of this world. The pesto salad. I have no idea what's in it besides pesto tomatoes, the pasta and some sort of nut but it all hits differently. I usually just get pesto salad from Safeway or something like that, but this place alone changed my perspective of the pesto salad. The banana cream canola is not too hard. Has a nice crunch to it. The banana cream itself isn't too sweet. It is a delight to eat. You don't feel sick from too much sugar after eating it. You can eat a few of these and be okay but I think about one or two of these is good enough. I'm going to come back here again and try out their smash sandwich. I'm sure it's as good as the normal sandwiches, but since that was already so good I need to try the other items on the menu also.

Hazy Cowboy Smash Sandwich

Lives up to the hype!! I had the Hazy Cowboy Smash Sandwich. Possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread which I believe was focaccia was so damn great. Everything in the sandwich worked perfectly together. My son had the Italian Cold Cut Sandwich. I tired a bite of it, and it was really really good. The bread once again was amazing. All topping very fresh. We didn't customize anything on either sandwich. Probably would add some condiments like a garlic aioli or something just to give it a little something extra. The sandwiches are a bit expensive, but they're also much larger than pretty much anywhere I've been. Also with the fresh & delicious ingredients it's definitely worth it. A lot of people could probably be content with half a sandwich. We took a couple pounds of sausages to go. Haven't tried them yet, it they look amazing in the display. Also ordered a few Biscoff cannoli. They were amazing, but I forgot to take a pic. Ate them too quick lol. The service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Place is clean, and there's limited indoor seating and two tables out front. Can't wait to go back !!

We first tried Paulo Sausage at The Beer Aisle in Oakley. We ordered the Italian dip as a plate with no bread, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were bold, the sausage was perfect. We appreciated how accommodating they were with this odd request. Today we ordered sandwiches, and they were incredible. The bread was fresh, the meat was packed with flavor. The large parking area makes it easy to stop by, and the shaded outdoor seating is a perfect touch. Plus, the staff is always welcoming and happy to accommodate special requests. Whether you're a sandwich lover or just appreciate great food and service, Paulo Sausage is a must-visit.

I had to come and try this week's special after seeing it online...RUN do not walk before it's not on the menu. This was so amazing! I'm upset I agreed to split the sandwich with someone. The meat is so flavorful and juicy, the pesto mixes well with the garlic aioli, and the crispy onion bits gives a best crunch. I'm sad this is just a special because it's definitely my favorite sandwich I've tried from them and I would hate to see it go.

Ok, tried the Italian Dip 5/5, Mortadella and Brie 5/5, now the Italian Cold Cut Sandwich. Do I need to say it? 5/5. Apparently, Paulo Sausage CAN'T make a bad sandwich. Oh, BTW, they make awesome sausages too

Food: The hot tri-tip sandwich was unfortunately ice cold, lacked flavor, and was overcooked. I had to use a lot of barbecue sauce just to make it enjoyable. I've had this sandwich before and it was delicious, so I'm not sure what happened today. 2/10 The hot pastrami sandwich, on the other hand, was flavorful and one of the best sandwiches my wife says she's ever had. 10/10 We didn't order any sides this time, but we'll definitely try them on our next visit. Drinks: We ordered two waters and one Gatorade. Service: Service was quick and efficient. The team at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I also liked the old school touch of filling out a sandwich order form. Prices are very reasonable and fair. Even though my sandwich wasn't the best on this visit, we'll definitely be back to try the sides and other items on the menu.

....It's a Liquor Store by all means, with that being said I feel my rating is being generous when…read moreit comes to this place and the service that I and most may receive here. Let me tell you why, that is if you care to read a little bit. This establishment is called "Pittsburg Liquor and Deli"....but my question is, how are you also going to be a deli and you have nothing "deli" related in your store? I think maybe they should take that off the storefront and just call themselves "Pittsburg Liqour and Crappy Service" Yea, that about sums it up. The service here Suuuuuuuuuuuuks! Like to be honest, I've been in situations where I've dealt with bad service before, but the service is is like talking to Mt Diablo (note Mt Diablo is a Mountain aka inactive Volcano aka a huge rock) You would walk up to make a purchase and if its the guy at the counter, he'll just stare at you and not say a word....weird. And don't ask for a scratcher or lotto ticket..you will finally get a reaction out of the guy attendent and that would be a huge sigh of annoyance. To be honest, if you're making money, why would you seem annoyed and irritated by that? The lady attendant that is here on occasions isn't as rude, she honestly makes this place even worth coming too when I need my quick "Turn Up" she at least would say thank you. Oh also worth mention I live like down the street, so this place has the convenience factor that makes me frequent this liquor store compared to others. The prices here are about average, to be honest I've visited places with better prices. But like I said the convenience factor sores this place to an 3 star rating. In conclusion, it's located off Railroad Street in Pittsburg obviously. It's located in the same little strip with notable locals (Blue Saigon, Chef J's Pizza, Al's Doughnuts and Starbucks) Highway 4 is right up the street making this the perfect place to buy pregame drinks and then hit the road (Disclamer: I'm not condoning irresponsible behavior. Please drink responsibly) this place is a great place to get those "In style" drinks aka the ones from all the entertainment folks. Yea you E40 fans would be happy here they got his stuff! So with that being said, my review is my own. You be your own judge, if you're in or around the Pittsburg area, give this place a go and Yelp your own experience.
