Shredded Chicken Burrito topped with onions and cilantro (I added their salsa) with a side of rice. HIGHLY recommend!

Omg!! My husband brought a burrito home from here last week and I have been craving another one ever since. Shredded Chicken Burrito - smothered with queso and (upon suggestions from previous reviews) topped with onions and cilantro. PHENOMENAL! This appears to be a family owned/run business and their service and food on both visits have been awesome. You need to give them a try!

Excellent service with a smile at this family-owned restaurant. Taco Guerrero. Tortillas a mano servidas bien calentitas.

Stumbled upon this gem looking for some authentic Mexican food for a quick family dinner. Super friendly staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. Order at the counter, choose your salsas and grab a table. Food arrives quickly as each dish was finished. Recommend the Torta with chicken and chorizo. Pretty amazing. Fresh bread and condiments, delicious meats. This place looks like it's run by a family. Drop in and check it out!

Caritas Torta. GROSSS!!!! Smelled like seafood.

Disgusting carnitas torta. Smelled like seafood, not pork. I took one bite and had to spit it out. I was afraid I might get food poisoning. It appeared as if the server didn't really care to answer when questioned about the menu. This place doesn't even have beer. Do yourself a favor and go to the other Mexican restaurant down the road.

Some of the best fresh chunky guacamole I've ever had. Wonderful service and very clean. Authentic too!!

Some of the best fresh chunky guacamole I've ever had. Enchiladas Supreme was muy bueno!!! 4 different enchiladas in red sauce. Beautifully clean place and wonderful hospitality. Just what we needed after a long drive from Milwaukee.

My son recommended this fresh authentic Mexican restaurant. So, we finally stopped by and we were totally thrilled. This is not Tex/Mex. This is Mexican. Fresh ingredients, friendly people and wonderful flavors. I had chicken soup and a lengua Taco. Husband had a Chorizo torta and my son had al pastor tacos. Guacamole was wonderful. I'm going back on a Thursday when they make Pazole. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately this visit was disappointing. The prices were not posted anywhere, nowhere, no paper menus with prices. This may be fine for people where money is not an object but although I appreciate the benefits of health food and am willing to pay and this is not the case for me. I found this distasteful. We were quickly told that is was a branding choice to exclude prices and a way to engage more with clientele except when I asked how much things were they didn't know... there is so many more ways to increase engagement between customer and staff. Also, all this being said prices are totally reasonable for a juice bar. Next the avocado toast was missing at least two ingredients the avocado oil and the Himalayan salt, so it was pretty bland, small portion and left us wanting the ingredients we were missing. The coconut sky smoothie was good, sweeter than my usual taste but totally yummy. Overall, this visit left me not wanting to return when I was so looking forward to this long awaited return. It didn't hold the same warmth, authenticity and care this time around.

There are tons of vegan options, and you don't have to look too hard for gf options if that's your jam. The store itself is packed with amazing health food items like mushroom coffee, shilajit, matcha, electrolytes, and so much more. They also have a refrigerated grab-and-go section with fresh juices, rice paper rolls, chia seed pudding, and a lentil casserole. The glass dessert case is full of vegan treats like peanut butter and chocolate cups, bliss balls, and donuts. The menu is extensive with tons of great organic vegan options. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough (they also offer gluten-free and multigrain) with cashew cheese and a side of chili. I also got a beet juice, a lemon lavender muffin, chia seed pudding, and a decaf oat milk latte. The sandwich was pretty good. The bread seemed really fresh and I enjoyed the cashew cheese. The side of chili had a slight twist that elevated it above most regular chili recipes. It was good, but had a little too much corn for my taste personally. The beet juice was delicious and a generous portion. The desserts were just okay, but I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet and didn't have any weird ingredients. Honestly, it's just so nice knowing your food has no weird ingredients and everything is organic! The only downside was the coffee. Honestly, it was probably one of the worst I've ever had. Maybe it was just an off day or a mistake, I'm not sure. Everything else was good though! I would definitely recommend this spot. The decor is really cute and inviting. I love that they offer plenty of seating options too -- indoor, an enclosed outdoor patio, and an exterior exposed patio. Logistical Notes: Parking was super easy with a lot right out front. There are two accessible bathrooms for people with disabilities, and I love that they have a gender-inclusive restroom as well. You order at the register, they bring you your food, and then you bus your own "tray."

One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

Please take this review with a grain of salt. Today was probably not an exemplary day for Milk &…read moreHoney. Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. Wait times were often in excess of an hour listening to other people waiting to be seated. That's a horrible experience on its face, and the management of this restaurant needs to do much much better or just close on Mother's Day. Next, we'll get to the food. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. For those of us at the table that ordered coffee, it was rather strong. I normally like strong coffee, but this was borderline Turkish coffee, and there wasn't enough cream available to mask the potency. The service was also stretched thin. Our server, Destiny, did her best, but she was waiting too many tables. Having once been a waitermyself I have a special affinity for Service staff who are asked to do too much. We left her a good tip, but I'm sure she is capable of much better service than what she was allowed to deliver. Finally, the overwhelming crowd made the restaurant feel claustrophobic. The noise level was far too high, and we could barely hear one another at our table and we were sitting very close to one another. I don't place the blame on the kitchen, staff, or the wait staff, or even the greeters. This was a fail of management, plain and simple. They made no contingency plans for that many people and should have anticipated a larger crowd on Mother's Day. Management -I challenge you to do better!!! We will come back during a normal Service day to see if you can perform better, but I encourage you, as owners and managers, to stop setting your staff up for failure, which is what you did!

I absolutely loved the décor. The menu is extensive, and it was hard to choose just one thing, so my friend and I ordered two juices (Dope Beets & Let's Kick It Out) and two plates (the Grilled Pimento Panini and the Buddha Bowl) to share. The juices were phenomenal. Honestly, I would go back just for those. I really wanted to love the food, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. I even ordered a cookie to try to redeem the meal, but that missed the mark as well. I felt especially bad because I brought a non-vegan friend and didn't want their first impression of vegan food to be a disappointing one, but sadly, that's how it turned out. That said, I'd be willing to return and try something different. Maybe it was just an off day, or perhaps the dishes we chose just weren't the best representation of the menu. I'd definitely come back for the juices, and I'm curious to try the smoothies too. Those might be a winner. I really want this place to thrive and wish them all the best!
