There was cheese on top (and I added some queso that we didn't finish with our chips) and it tasted really good. My friend got the Torta de Birria, a Mexican sandwich with onions & cilantro that came with fries and birria broth. He gave me a bite and the bread was outstanding. It was fluffy but dense and held together really well. I didn't try the fries, but they looked delicious. The presentation of both meals was pleasant. They came out on thick cutting boards which I thought was cute. The service was pretty slow, but we came right at the top of rush, so that might've been our own fault. The vibe is loud and vibrant. Not my usual kind of place, but I could see it attracting a lively sort of crowd.
