I ordered the 3 Enchiladas plate with verde sauce and al pastor. It came with rice and beans and was a great price! There was an extra $1.50 charge for the pork that I didn't see on a menu when ordering, but they had good portions and nice service. I also got a horchata ($3) and ordered to go, but the interior has several tables and gives a casual vibe.

This spot has been open for a bit. I am always going the wrong way to be able to stop in. It's a bit hard to get into the lot unless you are going the right way on Kenwood Road. I can only speak about the steak torta I had. First of all it was so big it filled the container. I knew it felt heavy when I picked up the bag. Not only was it big, but it was full of steak and toppings. The steak was seasoned well, the sandwich was very tasty! It had lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, jalapeños, cheese, and mayo. Refried beans is a topping, but I got those on the side. Yes, this is now a place I have to visit to try more.

Want to hit up some cheap Tex-mex fast food without going to "The Bell"? This is a locally owned place that does just as well, and you can get booze too. Margs, tequila, and Scotch? Burritos are legit.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I had never been, and As I walked in I heard the other customers all speaking Spanish. That's a sign it was going to be good. Placed my order and as I waited I also learned that all of the Spanish-speaking clientele had ordered a torta as their orders came up. Note to self: try the torta next time. I had two tacos and a chorizo quesadilla. All were packed with meat. And delicious. I also had the flan which was amazing. Can't wait to come back and try that torta.

I won't lie I don't know for a fact that this is definitely the best Mexican spot in cincinnati, I've been trying to find the best burrito and I didn't even get a burrito there. The torta sounded way too damn good and the gentleman working there, who turned out to be the owner's son and manager made it pretty clear that anything I ordered was going to be delicious so I just went with what I was craving. he chatted with the woman behind me and myself as we waited for the order to come out, offering us drinks of watermelon aquafresca, which was fantastically light and refreshing, and discussing their closing hours (which is really more like a general suggestion of when they probably start to clean up). Dude was very cool, and when it came time to pay I damn near had to fight him to take a tip period even though he loaded me down with their homemade salsas, a refreshingly cilantro heavy Verde and probably the spiciest of hot sauces that I've had. The gigantic sandwich came out loaded up, and the house chorizo that they make provided a nice thick layer of balanced Smoky flavor across the bottom. The bread was grilled and toasty, layers of flavorful toppings help drive it home. I need to go back, I need to try the burrito, but right now I can tell you for a fact that they are one of the best spots I've had. Made even better by the customer service and the dope patio to get a bit of fresh air while munching on some delicious Mexican food!

Ordered steak torta without onions. Very doughy. Mainly tasted breaded. Ordered without onion but they made it with onions. Also ordered chips and mild salsa. The salsa was very spicy. Felt front counter area was a little worn.

Pretty good tacos over at Chilero, I'll be back to enjoy some more. I appreciate having a no-frills, focus on the tacos, type place in Cincinnati - the idea of spending $5+ on a taco is very confusing for me. At Chilero's, you can order your tacos traditional, with cilantro and onion, or tex-mex, with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc. It's mostly a takeout place but they have 4 tables or so so you can sit down to eat, as I did. I ordered one of each of their tacos - carne asada, pollo, pastor, and chorizo. My favorite was the chorizo and I found the carne asada to be a bit dry. I'm glad they give you limes and salsa for your tacos. I'm giving this place high marks because the people there were really friendly and they even gave me a flan to enjoy (yum!). I want to go back to try their tortas and their tamales.

Great, authentic Mexican food. I would give it 5 stars for the food, but the atmosphere is drab, to put it kindly.

There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. The place itself was cool with colorful lights & fun graffiti-like walls, but the aesthetic was let down by the lack of people. We enjoyed the free popcorn & I really liked my drink, the downside up, although I realize it's probably too sweet for most. Unfortunately, the cocktail & popcorn didn't make up for the dead atmosphere & we left pretty quickly. I would be interested in going again & seeing what it would be like when it's lively; I imagine it would be a fun spot when the dance floor is full!

It was a nice night so we took advantage of being able to sit outside. I love all the random art and set up of the back. To drink I had the chunker, which was gin in a San Pelegríno it was a very refreshing drink! Deceptively doesn't taste like alcohol. I noticed some people with white claws and little airplane bottles so naturally I have to have a strong claw as well. We also had some very tasty shots, all around we had a good time, just hanging out and enjoying drinks, can't wait to come back here and visit again!

Some things are out of your control, but still I would've enjoyed my food more if I could have sat and ate it. This place feels a little light a hole in the wall in downtown Cincinnati. It does not have lots of tables, it is unassuming on the outside, and the menu is simple. We were drawn to it, even with the long lines because of all of the game goers. Considering its size and the line, we did not wait an unreasonable amount of time to order and then receive our food. Everyone orders at the counter so you have to go through one at a time and wait for everyone before you to decide their orders. The food is then called out and you have to go get it. This system probably helped our situation and made things move faster. I got their signature turtle, which is basically a large crunch wrap, with chicken served southwest style. It was awesome but very large! We were going out after and did not want to carry leftover boxes, so I ate it all and kind of regretted it after. But I simply could not stop cause the food was so good! The prices are also fair and they have plenty of beer and cocktails to offer from their bar. I would love to come back here on a quieter night so we can sit and enjoy the food wholly, perhaps with a beverage as well.

Food: 5/5 Dishes are explained as slightly larger plates than tapas style. My favorites: Wood Grilled Octopus, Crispy Falafel, Bouillabaisse. Love the Moroccan Mint Tea as well! Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.
