NO BUFFET. NO LUNCH specials for the weekend. NO drink menu. I think many people there don't speak English. There was an overpowering smell of laundry detergent. There was no food smells from cooking in the dining area. I only went because I saw chowdown posts about a buffet. The god was good. I didn't read the details of my meal and expected beans and rice with my meal but I was supposed to choose between the two but the server didn't ask. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The seats are comfortable. The menu is huge! Every meal I saw pass by looked very appetizing. Many drinks are in slushie machines in the bar. You already know that every Mexican restaurant has margaritas, but there was nothing in the menu not a separate menu and we were seated close to the foot nowhere near the bar and there want a bartender present.

The food is pretty decent. Your typical Mexican place. I was a little disappointed that they got rid of the buffet on the weekends. There is a new Mexican place opening up three doors down so it'll be interesting to see how well this place does after that opens without the buffet.

Fancy drink that I will try next visit

Food was great and the service was very attentive. Started with the queso with chorizo and it was delicious. Also had the street tacos and they were good. Bartender was super nice and makes a great drink.

Chicken Tortilla Soup - super tasty broth!

This is an average traditional Mexican restaurant. The food was ok but not great. It took a while for our food to arrive (lunch-time crowd, keep this in mind if you are on a limited time lunch break from work). Daughter had the enchilada and taco combo: chicken in the enchilada was very good but everything else was sub par - the taco meat seemed like it was very tired, maybe sat in the pan too long and got over cooked and dry. Hubs said his enchilada plate was very average. My order seemed to be the best: chicken tortilla soup. It was huge - could have served a family of 4! - and served piping hot. The broth, tortillas and chicken were outstanding -- nicely tangy and delicious. It was packed with vegetables which was great. But, the broccoli, cauliflower and carrots were clearly frozen instead of fresh (had that odd watery taste that frozen veggies have). This soup had such an outstanding base and flavor it would have been absolutely stellar with fresh veggies. This was actually the second time we've been here, the first about a year ago. I remember we loved it back then and were happy with our meals. I don't know what changed, but I'm hoping they'll improve because I really want to like this place. Server was pleasant. Lots of parking.

This place is GEM. Salsa is fresh and delicious. Elote and chicken fajitas off the chart. They even offer this cute little dessert cart that I'm going to get tomorrow or else I will be leaving my husband because if not, that would make him a liar. Also everyone is nice.

    Not really fahita veggies

Just yuck. Bathrooms were out of service for "10 minutes" but never opened the entire time we were there. "No water" Isn't that a code violation? How are they washing their hands?? The fajita veggies were frozen veggies mostly carrots and cauliflower ....hence the yuck.

    Chorizo fajitas explosion of flavor!

Let me start of by saying this is a great Mexican restaurant in the Nati. Yes we have so many to choose from with so many different styles and different types of Mexican food. We have visited this restaurant at least 10-15 times. I have tried at least 8 or more different menu items. Each and every time it is a better menu item. Burritos I have tried e everyone and the California is my 1A... the Hot Spicy is 1B... you get the picture. So head east to Milford Ohio on Milford parkway in a strip mall and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed word of advice don't eat it all take it home for leftovers it heat up really well... some of my of the pictures are a few of items I have tried.

This has quickly become my favorite local spot for my Mexican food fix. The food is awesome, service excellent and restaurant is well decorated and clean. Oh and the margaritas and salsa are quite tasty! Tonight I had the tacos I got one each, chicken and beef. The chicken was full of flavor but the beef was just avg but I recognize I ordered somewhat of a plain basic dinner. So I didn't have real high expectations on this one. The rest of my party really loved their meals for their visit here. I'm sure they'll be back.

First visit to Dos Amigos, 4 stars. I got the most Americanized menu item on the menu, Chicken Chimichangas. They were good, but they had a lot more authentic menu items. More about the restaurant, service was great! Much like Dewey's, I call it "Swarm Service," where anyone walking past your table sees that you need anything, they take care of it on the spot. So during my meal, I interacted with probably 5-6 different staff members checking in, but not intrusively. The guy bringing out the food literally ran through the dining room to get the food out in a timely manner. I'm not talking a "brisk walk," but more of a full-on sprint! He wanted that food on your table still steaming! Another thing that kind-of blew me away: this suburban strip-mall Mexican restaurant in Ohio has Shrimp Ceviché and Oysters on the menu, as well as Lobster dishes. Yes, I ordered the Chimichangas, aka"Gringo Special," but it was nice to see these more "exotic/authentic" items on the menu. Food/service/variety, at least 4 stars.

It has been posted up in front of the Marathon gas station on old 74 for a bit now. If you were driving by you might miss it, but the buzz surrounding it was so much so, that I just had to try them out. The first time I stopped by was around 3pm on my way home and several other people were also in line. The very kind owner instantly greeted me and explained what they had that day. He took my order and they got to work. The people already waiting raved about the place and were super friendly. Everyone, including the staff, chatted and it made the wait go by quick. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the carnitas tacos. The owner had recommended just 2, but I had been accustomed to quite small tacos at other places so I got 4. Boy was he right, they were so packed full of meat that I could barely finish two! The other two made a great second meal at a later time! The corn tortillas were delicious and very authentic. Each succulent and very flavorful meat was topped with onions, cilantro and your choice of green, red, or hot sauce or all of the above. For my first time the owner recommended I try each separately with the hot sauce on the side. Also included was fresh lime and a grilled poblano pepper. Everything was amazing and I can confidently say this is the best authentic tacos I have ever had, anywhere. I cant say I have a favorite sauce because they each have sensational flavor, including the hot sauce. One try and I was hooked. I started following them on Facebook to catch certain days where they had special tacos, such as steak (which cost a tiny bit more due to the quality of the steak meat). The steak was just as amazing. They also serve breakfast. The second time I visited I did not know the extra cost until I received my order. Since it is cash only, I did not have enough. A kind person in line, who also shared the addiction to this spot, gifted me the $2 I was short. I hope to pay this forward in the future at another visit to my magical friendly neighborhood taco dealer! This isnt just great food, its an experience full of great people... who are also observing covid safety despite being outside btw.

Review Title: Christmas Lights, Killer Food, and Patricia Running the Place Like Santa on Espresso…read more Walked into this spot and got hit with three things immediately: great food, good music, and Christmas lights that scream, "Relax... we're not judging your waistband tonight." Now, respect where it's due: the guys in the back are putting out food that tastes like somebody's abuela got a Michelin star and then told Michelin to calm down. Everything came out hot, honest, and dangerously easy to keep ordering. But let's be clear: the real main event was Patricia. Patricia wasn't just serving tables--Patricia was conducting a symphony of hunger. She moved like she had 13 tables, 13 timers, and 13 guardian angels all clocked in for her shift. Sweet, welcoming, upbeat, and smiling like she just found out the IRS is issuing refunds in tacos. I watched her juggle what felt like a small football stadium of hungry people, and somehow you still felt like you were her only table. If you've ever wanted service that makes you think, "Wow, I should be nicer to everyone," Patricia will do that to you. Bottom line: Great food, casual vibe, cozy Christmas glow, and Patricia delivering hospitality like it's an Olympic sport. I'd come back for the food--but I'll tell my friends I came back for Patricia.
