Before our wedding, we were able to pick up one of Vy's tasting packs of cake, all of which were incredible tasting and helped us choose the flavours we would want for our final cake. Highly recommend picking up a tasting pack if you are able to! During the process, we met with Vy early on and discussed our choices of flavours, design, and Vy was able to send us a mock-up design that incorporated elements from the wedding dress which ended up being a great touch, and created a cake that was unique for just us. We have honestly never seen a cake fly off the table so quickly - to the point where we weren't even able to have one of the flavours on the wedding day as the guests ate it all so quickly! So many compliments have been given from friends and family about her cake. Overall, we highly recommend getting a cake from Syndesi for whatever event you may have coming up. The trip out there would definitely, definitely be worth it. We'll certainly be ordering more cakes from her for future celebrations!

Everyone was amazed at the cake (a lot of them didn't even believe it was cake). The guests devoured it and I got asked so many times who did the cake. I will definitely be recommending her to friends who are looking for custom cakes and will order from her again for other special occasions!

The BEST bakery in metro Atlanta!!!…read more Yanet's Bakery is an ultimate gem! The cakes are delicious and absolutely stunning. Customer service is hands down the best. You will not find more engaging service anywhere else. They will work with you on any design and make suggestions within your budget. The red velvet is one of the best I have ever tasted. All the fillings are freshly made. The cakes last a long time which is great after an event, and there might be leftovers. (if guests don't snatch up all the cake!) The bakery is beautiful and inviting and lots of free parking. I have booked 3 to 4 weeks in advance and my orders were always ready on time, as they are highly reliable. Even though they are 45 mins to an hour away, I never second guess ordering!

2/5 -- Disappointing Customer Service. First and Last Time Ordering…read more I wanted to support a small local business, but unfortunately, my first experience with Yanet's Bakery left a bad impression. I placed a last-minute order for my nephew and paid the full $60 upfront without hesitation. I even offered to pay an additional rush fee because I understood it was short notice and appreciated them accommodating me. My issue was never the order itself. It was the customer service and lack of clear communication. I was told pickup was available between 1-6 PM, and I requested 6 PM. When I asked for the address, I was directed to their location information. Later, when I said I was on my way, I was told the order wasn't ready yet. They eventually said it would be ready by 5 PM. I was traveling about an hour to pick up my order, and when my ETA ended up being after 6 PM, I was informed they closed at 6:30 PM. I understand businesses have operating hours, but I wish that had been communicated more clearly from the beginning, especially knowing I was traveling from a distance. Instead, I was told I could arrange an Uber courier, which would've cost me an additional $53 on top of the $60 I had already paid. That's almost the price of the order itself! What bothered me most was the way the situation was handled. Rather than feeling like a valued first-time customer, I felt like an inconvenience. I understand they were busy and had squeezed my order in last minute, but being busy doesn't mean customer service should go out the window. Her mother ultimately came back to hand me my order, which I genuinely appreciated, and I thanked them for making that accommodation. I even shared their bakery on my social media afterward to show support, despite how I felt about the experience. I also tried an apple fritter, and personally, I wasn't impressed with the taste. At the end of the day, plenty of bakeries can make good treats, but customer service is what makes people want to return. A little more patience, kindness, and consideration would've made this experience completely different. I don't mind paying for quality, and I respect people's time, but I expect that same respect as a paying customer. Unfortunately, I won't be returning or recommending this bakery based on my experience.

We threw an engagement party for my brother in law and partner and was Mexican themed as his…read morepartner is Mexican. I was tasked to bring dessert, specifically tres leches cake as requested. I looked through Yelp and found this bakery. While it doesn't have a lot of reviews, nor any recent ones, I decided to give it a shot. I called the number and was asked to text them info on what I was looking for, for how many people and the design of the cake. I gave her exactly what I needed via text and we set up a time to pick up. I did end up picking up the cake from a residential home and not at the business (which was a 40 min drive from me) but every minute of it was worth it since people raved over the cake. The cake was delicately moist and fluffy. The milk portion of the cake was well executed though we wish the cake was soaked in it a bit more, but we do like that the texture was still spongy and not mushy. The icing was nice and sweet and the added strawberries complemented the sweetness. I

We got a half sheet cake of her tres leches that was 1. beautifully decorated 2. Entirely light and airy (most lesser tres leches cakes are dense) and 3. Perfectly sweet but not too sweet (a difficult task when the materials are so sweet. She added fresh strawberries and took the time to add gold sugar on the top to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the recipients. I cannot say enough good things about this cake and this bakery. As an aside she arranged for me to pick it up after bakery hours and coached me about how to keep it fresh on the drive home and how long it would stay good while unrefrigerated. We will be back for every major family function and we will send as much business here as we can because Gaby is the real deal.
