Worst place ever! I would not recommend coming here at all. It's so small and they allow way too many people for their capacity. Inside was overly packed and when we came outside the security threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave right away. We left after waiting for three hours for the artist to come and didn't get a refund. Do not come here unless you want to get squished and be really uncomfortable. So sad that my husband got scammed out of six tickets from event so upset he bought the tickets back in February so what the F ? Dont come to the night club. ESPECIALLY if someone famous is here. They over crowed it with people all the time so there is no room to dance, just to stand like sardines. Also they always overcharge. Went there one time with my 20 yr old little cousin since they let 18+ in with an adult. And she was feeling claustrophobic and light headed with how many people were there (no ones fault for her feeling that way) so we step to the side near the bathrooms and she stayed there while I went to go get her a water from the bar since she cant go in the bar area. When I returned I found the heavy set security guard accusing her of drinking because of how she "looked" cause she was light headed. I would like to give this place zero stars. My mom & I were looking for a restaurant and on a whim decided to try this place out. It looked authentic enough & figured it had to be good. We were wrong. The place is large and looks like it doubles as a nightclub as their was a large dance floor with a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. As soon as we sat down, a woman with a bucket of roses came by and asked us if we were interested. Uh...no. That should've been a sign to get out of there. The menu seemed to focus on seafood. There were NO traditional burritos or tacos on the menu here which was lame because i really wanted tacos. Both my mom and I decided on the enchilada plate $13.99 (really the only thing that seemed not to be seafood). When it arrived, they didn't look like enchiladas at all but more like flat tacos filled with cheese. They tasted awful. The beans looks like soup and the rice was filled with spicy jalapeno. They do not meet ADA compliance as the spaces between the tables are less than two feet. If I could leave a 0 stars, I would. This reason is based on our "club" experience. We were there this weekend for La Energía Norteña, the grupo played amazing, that's for sure! But this place was SOOOO PACKED we couldn't even dance. Todos tratando de pasar back and forth, pura empujadera. I think all I thought to myself was "if there's an emergency, how the hell are we getting out?!?" We drove from Palo Alto to concord. I definitely wouldn't make another trip here to see someone. It's not worth it in my opinion. The space en el disque VIP area is so reduced que NADIE podía bailar. It sucks! Their menu is mostly seafood items. If you love seafood then I highly recommend checking this place out. I am not a huge seafood fan so I probably will not be coming back here often. However, I could see myself coming here when I am in the mood for something new. When we ate here recently, I wasn't feeling adventurous so I ordered cheese enchiladas. this is suppose to be a mexican restaurant right ? i'm mexican , where's the mexican seaaoning ?? tortilla chips: lame (too hard) kid's chicken tenders & (curly) fries: chicken is extremely fried and hard enchilada plate: the enchilada sauce tastes like can sauce (i could've made that at home) the rice taste ok (probably the only thing i enjoyed) but the beans are from i don't know where. it's like thwy tried to make an experiment with the beans . they added bacon and it looks as if it was someone else's left over because it has bits of rice inside along with the bacon. i got a hibiscus agua fresca (jamaica)that is really good. i will NOT come here again thank you very much Chevy's is a better choice for 'mexican' food. read more

I have been here at night when it cost 40 sum dollars to get in the place because one of many famous Mexican singers are there to perform. At night this place is like crackin' and I mean crackin'. Tons of shined up SUV's bumpin Spanish music circling the place because every parking spot is taken. Loads of Latin studs in there pointy Croc or eel skin cowboy boots and 300 dollar gold threaded belts, and of course plenty of Latinas with the high heels, nails done, eyeliner applied, and curves showing in the skin tight apparel. The drinks are strong but definitely expensive. Plenty of security and tons of dancing. Be ready to dance, drink, sweat, and check out some Latin eye candy!! Since I enjoyed it at night, I had to check it out during the day. Menu is filled with nothing but marisco choices. I ordered the aquachile which is raw shrimp marinating in lime juice, onions, cucumbers and chile. It was very good, and had plenty of shrimp. Don't come here expecting cheap marisco prices because cheap is the last thing. Cash only, and don't forget to order a cantarito with your mariscos. Sundays usually have Mariachi bands playing. Mariachi is very expensive in the states...it's like $20 per song or something crazy like that! Mexicans LOVE their Mariachi! No reservations and on weekends if there is a Mariachi band you may wait up to 45 minutes for a table. They only take cash, though there is an ATM machine, but so many people frequent the restaurant, there may be an empty machine. My mexican friends and I don't normally eat here unless we are coming to listen to Mariachi and have michalada's. My friends do not enjoy the food here at all, we will eat at Los Rachero's around the corner in the same shopping center. We all LOVE the night life here. If you come before 11 you can get in free. After 11 if there is a DJ or Banda you will need to pay anywhere from $10-25 per person. I have come here maybe 5 times and have never witnessed a fight. The men are always respectful when they ask for a dance. Drinks are expensive here---charge as much for a drink here as they do in Lafayette. If you like to people watch and are comfortable with standing out if you are NOT mexican, than this is fun! If you are a dancer and can keep up with the mexican and spanish dances you will have the greatest time ever! Sometimes they have simulated bull rides here. The woman who do Banda can really kick ass---of course the men do to. Expect many mexicans dressed in their best, many with cowboy boots and hats. Lot's of posturing, but truly innocent. So disappointing! I've passed this place many times while going to Costco. This cavernous place is a weird amalgam of dining and club. There's a huge lighting rig in the middle of the room, with a disco ball and DJ booth. The booths are made out of a molded plastic material, which synthetic tile floors. I'm guessing that they can just hose the jwhole down after the restaurant/club closes. We stopped by on Sunday for breakfast and it was almost a complete bust. Visited Puerto Vallarta two months ago and this seafood restaurant "es muy autentico!" Great price for fresh oysters ($1 each) wifey enjoyed her ceviche mixto, and me the garlic shrimp. This place is way over priced. I had a fish plate and my wife had these greasy bacon wrapped something that was not good at all. We ended up paying around $90 for food that was not worth it. Sadly we were very excited to try this new place, we thought we would like. This was just too overpriced and honestly the food was not good. More than anything it was way to greasy for us. This place has the worst Mexican food. I stopped there with some friends to have a quick bite. We ordered prepared oysters and some shrimp empanadas. A big mistake the oysters were tasteless no flavor at all and the empanadas had rotten mushy shrimps. As soon as we took a bite of the empanadas we could tell something was wrong; I told the waitress about and she took it to the cook to have them inspected. The steak is cooked to perfection with savory garlic and the most perfect gooey fresh cheese, with rice, peas, & carrots inside too which is something I've never had in a burrito, but is really tasty! This really is the best burrito I've ever had, it's soo good. Their tamales are nothing special, and I've never had their breakfast, or came to hear the music. But to give these guys a chance you must try that burrito!!! Mari Yachi was very friendly and entertained:) I cannot believe this restaurant is very close to my house but for a long time I did not know that because of outside of display is not really attractive compared to the inside and the food quality. i agree with Kelly E. completely! I am Russian, so i was pretty nerveous coming there with my Puerto Rican friends for the first time. But everyone was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable! The music is the best mix of hip hop, bay area, maranga, and reggaeton (on friday nights). Its not very crowded or crackin, technically speaking, but i was with my friends who are great dancers, so it really didnt matter! I had a blast, and left the club 4 pounds lighter! haha. When I came up to the bay, I was not expecting to find any great Mexican dancing, but Sunday night at El Rancho was the best I have found anywhere. If you want to get down to banda, corridos, pasito duraguense and some cumbias, this is the place for you. The beers are way overpriced: $7 for a CAN of Modelo. But maybe that's what makes for the sober crowd. Tight security, well-dressed patrons and good dancers. This 'lil baile makes me want to move back to the bay. Yesterday, I experience having a burrito bowl from El Rancho's food truck. It wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't a long lasting memorable experience. The salsa was nice and spicy, just the way I like it, but the rest was okay and just and up to par. It's nice to mix up my lunch experiences as there are not many selections around my work vicinity. I've been to "the ranch" a few times on friday nights. The majority of people there are latino, it's similar to club barcelona. They usually have really good DJ's, the music is great. Usually I get in for free by being on the guestlist which is the main reason we go all the way out there. Otherwise it's $20. It's a chill environment, the people are generally nice and just want to dance, no haters so you can basically do whatever. It's not really that crackin but if you're drunk & you're with your friends you will have a good time. read more

Very bad service. It took at least 30min to get our drinks when we were the only people in the restaurant. And 1hr 10min to get our food. Not only that food very disgusting.
