That was nice. It's the little things that make customers feel appreciated! They have two salsas, red habanero and green tomatillo type, which was my favorite. The guacamole was actually guac - not full of sour cream like other restaurants use to increase the product. The girl working in the restaurant had such a JOYFUL presence and was in a great mood, a little giggly, with the cutest laugh. She even helped a little boy and his mom with a toy/quarter machine. The little boy skipped his way out, he was so happy! This crew must enjoy what they're doing! Guys cooking in the back were fast! She recognized customers as they came in and was kind to everyone, wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving! The food was EXACTLY what I was looking for... hot, fresh, seasoned nicely and very filling. The Burro meat was deliciously juicy, rice - savory, beans - authentic! Enchilada sauce was full of flavor, but not spicy. Loved it! This place played nice calming music, not too loud and the tile work in the entire place was beautiful! There's plenty of table space including high tops. Bathroom smelled like it had just been cleaned, everything was so tidy! I'll be back again to try the carne Asada!

Ive been on Yelp since 2006 (close…read moreto 20 years and well before Google maps or reviews ever existed) and without it, I would have missed out on a lot of cool and neat places like this! Thanks Yelp for helping me find 20 years of good eats, drink and fun! La Luz Del Dia means "the light of the day" in Spanish and boy is this place bright and cheery and the perfect start to a glorious and beautiful Sunday morning. You know this place is gonna be good because as I drove down the deserted road nary a car through downtown Globe and arrive at this place, you see a bunch of cars parked huddled near this place. I knew it wws gonna be good. I walk into this unassuming place and almost every table is taken at close to 9am on Sunday. There were a few seats at the counter facing the open kitchen so I made a beeline to sit down. Wait staff and customers in here are so nice and friendly! The cute girls working here are fast and efficient, and super sweet and all with a smile. I was pretty hungry as I hadn't eaten since Friday breakfast and was ready to gobble up a good breakfast. I had a chorizo burro (same as a burrito, still trying to figure out the difference) and a cup of coffee. Coffee was ok, and did the job. But, the burro was great! Southwest breakfast burritos are some of the best, and when you're in the Southwest, definitely don't pass this up to have. This burro was also huge and despite the fact I was famished, I could only eat a half of my burro. You can get red or green salsa, but since I am a spice pansy, I opted for the red, which was still more spicy than I can handle. By 9:20am, I was finished eating and ready to go. You go up to the cashier and pay there. There's a desert and drinks case by the register and lots of goodies there to choose from too. There was baklava, orange cake and brownies on offer. I also spied a chamoy pickle for sale too, here in the Southwest when the summers get so hot, having a pickle is sometimes in order to replace the salt we lose sweating so much! Overall, I loved this place! Loved the atmosphere as its kind of an old school diner, and everyone in here was a delight and the food was delicious! I'll be back again when coming thru Globe again! And you should definitely check this place out when passing thru Globe!

It's located on Sullivan St down the street from the church. The place looks small but to our surprise it has three eating areas and a bar. The people are so friendly and they know all their customers by name because Miami is so small they know who is just passing through. We ordered to go and the food came out hot and freshly made. My platter had a fried chimichanga , rice, beans, and guac. The rice was fluffy, soft and moist - the refried beans were tender, cheesy and seasoned perfectly. The guac was made fresh as were the flour tortilla chips that we ordered- yummy! The chimichanga was the best thing I've had- you can taste the love that goes into their food. The meat inside was freshly made juicy roast that was generously packed inside the tortilla. This burrito is so large it can easily be shared by two. After eating this, I will have to return and try other food items. This restaurant is a must when passing through Miami, Arizona!!! This town looks deserted but it has a Treasure with Guayos El Rey!
