The service was extremely slow and we didn't get any questions about how we were doing. All of our glasses were empty most of the meal. The food order took an extremely long time to come. And this was not even close to authentic Mexican food. The food reminded me of Taco Bell. On top of all of that, the atmosphere is very grungy. I do not recommend. read more

I LOVE their salsa!!!! This place is so good. I always get the green chilli burro and is awesome!!! It's a small place but the service is great and fast. You can take salsa home for $3.50, $5, and $7. I travel an hour and twenty minutes to eat here every time. Love it!!! read more

While on a business trip to Globe, a co-worker and I had the urge for some good Mexican food. A police officer we met recommended El Ranchito on Broad Street, which is the main street in downtown Globe. Wow, what an excellent choice. I had a red chili beef burrito and it was the best! My dinner, with a bottle of domestic beer and including the tip came to a little over 8 dollars. Incredible! If you find yourself in Globe, and you are a fan of Mexican food, you have to eat at El Ranchito. It's the best Mexican food east of Phoenix. One interesting tidbit about this place is they serve everything on a small plastic Tupperware type cart. Unusual but unique. It gives the place its character. read more

Got to be one of our favorite finds! Tiny but the food is awesome! We love to go here for breakfast. My husband enjoys their chorizo plate. I on the other hand keep ordering the Huevos Rancheros with Green Chilis. Usually we also get a couple burros to go since we don't live close by. Fantastic Food! Excellent five-star quality Globe-Miami Mexican food. They have a significant seafood menu, which is unique for the area. A smokin' deal are the small nachos for only $3 which come with sliced fresh jalapenos and local Bonita beans. The major drawback is that it is a cramped location with poor parking. read more

We have been going to El Ranchito in Globe AZ for year and years ! we have also tried other restaurants in the area... and we still come back to El Ranchito ! They have the BEST cheese enchiladas and beef tacos, and their service is excellent, waitresses that is... one trip recently ... our food was brought to the table by a kitchen worker and she was rude and impatient.... MOST of the time everything is excellent ... hey El Ranchito ...keep those kitchen people in the kitchen where the belong LOL !!! read more

I was raised on Globe-Miami Mexican food so, of course, I've eaten in every restaurant in town. I'm a big fan of Guyao's, La Casita, etc. but none of them can begin to touch El Ranchito's green chili or their salsa! Both are fabulous!! The restaurant is small but the food is outstanding! Good food, good service, fair prices. I had green chile and it was excellent. In fact it was so good my only negative was the smallish portion. Not a complaint as I felt the vlaue was fair, more a reflection of how delicious it was. Rice better than most. My friend had a green chile burrito and a taco and felt easily they were some of the best he has had. We are both seious Mexican food eaters and favor a traditional style. Definitely will return. We go here all the time and usually the service is very good, unfortunately tonight Gladys was horrible. We have never felt so ignored especially with only one other table occupied (the other waitress was very nice). Hopefully they will hire some new waitresses who won't roll their eyes and will treat people like human beings. read more
