Camarones en salsa de ajo

Wow! Eat here! Visiting for the day and happened to find this - I'm so happy I did! Tons of space, very clean. Friendly staff. Food is DELICIOUS! definitely recommend the sangria.. I usually prefer white but was persuaded to at least try it (red) and I wish I'd ordered a pitcher!

Well cooked food! The steak and chicken were cooked perfectly, tender and well seasoned. The sasauge had great flavor; paprika or cumin...it was distinct but tasty. The beans were a bit bland but overall....good eats.

I was in the area because of jury duty. I found this popular Columbian resteraunt near by and i had the Bandejita Montana. It was delicious and reasonably priced for lunch. It includes a rib eye, fried pork, rice, fried egg, avocado, flat corn, and bean soup. I washed it down with a a tall delicous drink called Guanabana. Guanabana (Soursop) is one of many natural juices they sell. The juices claim some nice health benefits and are like a thin healthy milk-sh shake. I really like it and will try their Mango, or Passion fruit drink next time to see how they taste. I would recommend that you get one of these drinks with your meal to really complete the experience. The servers were friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back with my wife.

I went here because I was in downtown and saw good reviews from here. I had Bandejita Montanera for lunch but I was quite disappointed with the quantity and quality. It was too salty for me. The size was not big enough.

Checking in.

I ordered the arroz con pollo and it was quite good. The peas were a bit much but the overall taste was good. I also ordered the platanos with guac and that was amazing. Overall it was a very delicious meal. Our waiter was very respectful and helpful. Thank you, will be back again soon.

So I've been to El Pueblito many times, for lunch and dinner. The place is very nicely decorated and the staff is very pleasant. They greet you as soon as you come in and are attentive the entire time you are there. Lunch: Great choices and very reasonable prices. I get the mini Pechuga asada which comes with grilled chicken, rice, beans and plantains. ($8.95) Everything is so well seasoned and delicious! But make sure you order 15-20 ahead. Dinner: I had the pollo salteado once and I was not a fan. But the second time I came back I had the bandeja montañera and it was phenomenal. Came with chicken, steak, avocado, egg, rice, beans, fried pork....a little bit of everything. The only thing on my plate to Disappoint was the fried pork, It tasted old. Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? The pork piece I got that day (no good) and they charge for condiments! There's a really good sauce called Aji but you get charged extra for it. I don't think any formal restaurant should be charging extra for condiments. I do recommend it, but I would stick to the Colombian dishes.

So the question of most Friday nights after happy hour is generally, what's for dinner? And only bring a block away I suggested we stroll into this restaurant and to our surprise we were blown away. Overall appearance was great, it's not cluttered like elbows to elbows; and it was clean The service was great, a bit of a language barrier but with a little patience everything went well Now let's move on to the food the food excellent I have the Lomo which is sauteed steak and onions over fries and rice, girlfriend had this dish that had every meat known to man I forget the name of it but anything with the egg she will eat. They do not serve any alcoholic beverages besides wine and beer I believe The wait staff was beyond excellent they were checking on us all night anything we ask for the cave and they even gave my girlfriend a side of sauce to go with she has been raving about Would I go back? yes

Friendly staff delicious food. Very generous portions resonable price. We found it looking for something to eat before we boarded the ferry. Yelp hasnt steered us wrong yet! We will be returning our next trip over

We ordered a small one with guacamole and a larger one that included tostones, yuca, and arepa. Everything was delicious, especially the chicken, steak, and chorizo meats. I'd definitely suggest this place for good food. The only downside was that the game kept stopping due to a internet poor connection, but that didn't take away from our overall enjoyment. La Fonda was a great spot -- authentic food, warm atmosphere, and always fresh. Unfortunately, this new place doesn't live up to that standard at all. To start, there were no English menus available, which made ordering confusing. During my visit, I actually killed three flies inside the restaurant -- and there were several more buzzing around. That alone was a bad sign. The food didn't redeem the experience either. The calamari was over-fried and far from fresh. The dish with ground beef was literally ground into a dust-like texture -- completely unappetizing. The beans were cold, and the empanadas were hard, stale, and clearly re-fried; they even had an unpleasant taste. The mango juice, which I hoped would save the meal, was also a miss. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won't be coming back. Whatever happened between La Fonda Colombiana and Sabores Orange is truly disappointing -- the old restaurant was far better in every way.

Even on a…read morebusy weekend, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks came out surprisingly fast. On my first visit, I ordered the Parchados Churrasco, served with white rice, Yukon potatoes, guacamole, house salad, and chimichurri sauce, everything was flavorful and well balanced. This time around, I decided to switch it up and tried the Tamal Tolimense (Toli-Paisa). I didn't see it on the menu, but I had spotted it on their Instagram, and they were happy to make it for me. The Tamal Tolimense was a very generous portion. It's a traditional Colombian dish from the Tolima region, wrapped in banana leaves and filled with masa, rice, chicken, pork, vegetables, and egg. The filling was hearty and satisfying, but the masa itself was a bit bland and could have used more salt. We also shared the Parchados Picada (Meat Lovers) for two ($39.80), which came with steak, pork and chicken strips, fried pork belly, pork ribs, sausage, blood sausage, tiny yellow potatoes, arepitas, tomatoes, and ripe plantains. The portions were excellent and definitely worth sharing. For appetizers, we ordered the Canasta de Plátano (stuffed plantain cups with steak, chicken, and shrimp) and the Alitas de Pollo (6 wings with fries) Both were solid choices, though I wasn't a fan of the Mango sauce, I think a mango habanero hot sauce option would have been better. To drink we had spicy margaritas and a round of pomegranate Long Island iced teas, which were strong, flavorful, and well made. The ambiance is another highlight, the space has a great aesthetic, the food is always nicely presented, and the music was on point, with a mix of classic salsa and modern artist such as Bad Bunny. Parking can be tricky on the street, but they do have a parking lot nearby if needed.

I must say however, for a place that specializes in French fries, you'd think they'd at least hand cut their own potatoes but they didn't. Their fries are store bought, precut, and were extremely greasy. I only ate my toppings which I must say were good, and their house sauce was amazing . Grilled chicken is part of the house fries ingredients but it was more so just shredded. Other than that, it was a good experience. Not sure if I'd go back but I'd recommend it to others to try at least once.

Also, it gives you that instagram feel like so many other restaurants are incorporating into their businesses. My daughter and I were greeted when we arrived and we were told we could sit anywhere. My daughter and I ordered the Colombian French Fries with Pork Belly, Colombian Pork Sausage, Sweet Plantains, Shredded Cheese, and House Sauce. Oh boy, the French Fries was packed with flavor and it just was an explosion in your mouth. The Sweet Plantains was a great addition as they were sliced in small pieces and you really didn't know when you were getting the Sweet Plantains because this box was full to the max!! As you bite into the French Fries, the Sweet Plantains would surprise you with that sweet taste. It all came together with the Colombian Sausage. The French Fries were 17.00 but with all the toppings and it feed myself and both of my children, is a win. The customer service was great and I would definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

I first tried Cibus back in August of 2025 for a quick drink and appetizers, so when my friends…read moreasked where we should go for dinner, I didn't hesitate to suggest it. I may add that I live 90 minutes from here and only come to this town 1-3 times a year. So, my friends usually take my suggestions and a group of eight of us showed up on a Saturday night with no reservation, and somehow the universe blessed us with a table. The place was packed, even the bar had people standing around it; so we knew we were in for a good night. One thing I loved about Cibus that night, is the crowd. It's a great mix of Hispanic and non‑Hispanic diners, which tells you the food speaks to everyone. The décor is warm and inviting, and the dimmed evening lighting gives it that cozy, "we're about to eat well" vibe. Parking was easy too. I have to admit I thought it may be harder to find parking but we found a spot right behind the restaurant, though street parking is also an option, but was packed. Our server, David, deserves his own shout‑out. Super patient, friendly, and ready with answers for every question we threw at him. He checked on us often without hovering, and everyone at the table agreed he did an excellent job. Now, the food...my favorite part. If you've read my reviews before, you know I eat everything but have a soft spot for Asian cuisine. And even though I'm Hispanic, I rarely go out for Hispanic food because I cook it well at home and most places don't impress me. Cibus, however, did not disappoint. Not one dish missed the mark, and the whole table agreed. We even ordered extra food to take home. We started with the Garlic Shrimp with Mofongo. The creamy orange sauce caught me off guard because it's not the usual style, but it worked beautifully. The flavors were balanced, the mofongo wasn't dry (thank you!), and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. We liked it so much we ordered multiple plates of this one; plus two Cuban sandwiches to go. The Cuban was tasty, though it could use a little more meat and sauce. The Ropa Vieja was another hit. Plenty of meat, plenty of sauce, and the black beans were flavorful. A sprinkle of fresh cilantro on top would have made it perfect, but that's just me being picky with my extra flavors and aroma. We also had the ceviche, the trio of little mofongos, and the Chips and Guacamole -- and yes, they make their tortilla and plantain chips in‑house. Not a single crumb survived. I tried the Tostones Sliders with pork, and I wouldn't change a thing. They were loaded with meat, had the right amount of veggies and sauce, and were just delicious. The only dish that didn't wow me was the Maduro with cheese. I love maduros, but the melted mozzarella felt a little plain. There's so much potential here, instead of Mozart maybe try some queso Mexicano, a small side of meat sauce, chimichurri sauce, or even a spicy drizzle could take it to the next level. Speaking of spice, I asked for hot sauce and was surprised to get a watered‑down Frank's RedHot. For a Latin fusion restaurant, something like Cholula, El Yucateco, or Tapatío would fit the Latin fusion theme so much better and elevate the dishes. But overall, Cibus is doing so many things right -- great service, great food, great atmosphere. I'm already planning my next visit and bringing new people with me at end of May.

Second time here...first time dining in. Came here for a family member's birthday dinner…read more Went on a Sunday evening with a group of seven. The restaurant midsized, it's nicely decorated, clean, and good for groups too. The staff were very friendly, food was good, however the waitress was ok. She forgot to bring my appetizer and forgot to place my to-go meal in time of the kitchen closing. The waitress was apologetic and I understand humans forget things from time to time when you're busy. However, this evening was less than half full and when we left it was near closing time...only a couple tables were still there. The least they could have done was comp my meal or have the manager stop by to apologize. But that didn't happen, I just didn't want to make a fuss...so I paid the bill and time will tell if there is another visit in the future.
