I tried the chicken tortilla soup and the broth was very flavorful however, the chicken was so dry I almost choked. My coworker got the three taco special and chose the chicken taco, the carnitas taco and steak taco and specifically asked for no onions or cilantro and his tacos were covered in it to the point you could barely pick it out. After he picked what he could off it was just meat in a tortilla. Not what he hoped for. They do take credit card and there is ample parking as it is in a center with other restaurants Maybe dining in would be a better experience

All tasted fresh, looked amazing, and the chips (which I did not verify were made in house but that's what I heard) were crunchy and did not get soggy! The meat was moist and tasty. We devoured them. Great menu options available from appetizers to entrees. Very reasonably priced. Margarita was strong and wonderful! The homemade beef empanada was so flavorful and crispy crunchy. Packed full of deliciously seasoned meat. The birra taco was so good and the sweet pork taco was divine! Festive yet cool and relaxed atmosphere. Staff was jovial, attentive and super. The only bummer was that there was no ball for the fossball table in the middle of the dining room. Bar and tables and multiple tvs to catch your favorite sport if that's your thing. The entire establishment was clean, inclluding the restrooms. On street parking. We loved it! We highly recommend and will be returning.

I've had Guac Time twice: once in a delivery and then an in-person visit tonight. When I had Guac Time from this location last, I had the birria tacos and an order of Oreo churros. Yeah, for some reason that is a thing, it's something I didn't know was a thing until I had them delivered, and I'm not mad they exist. I will say the portion sizes from my delivery order was disappointing. I only got two churros when I had them when most places would do 6 in a group with churros that size. The birrias were also under portioned. In addition, they needed the consome to elevate the flavor. While they do have good consome, birria tacos should be able to pull the weight on their own as well. If I had just written a review after the delivery, this would have been a 3-star review that was closer to a 2. Tonight's order was what brought this up to a 4, albeit it's still more of a 3.5. This time around, I got the loaded nachos bowl and the tres leche to go. I didn't really want to be staying in and risk being stuck in the middle of a nor'easter. That would have been no bueno. But the nachos were actually really good! The chips that didn't get drowned in the toppings were crispy, the cheeses were flavorful, the beef barbacoa was tender, and the chicken was moist. Overall, these nachos were a win and I'd definitely get them again because the flavors came together so well here! The nachos (besides the confirmed grilled chicken, beef barbacoa, and tortilla chips) had Mexican rice, black beans, nacho cheese, fajita veggies, Queso Blanco, Sour Cream, Chipotle Sauce, and red onions. Similarly, the tres leech tasted good and actually felt like a real portion this time around. I think overall it is worth trying at least once if you're in the area. I'd probably want to try more things too just to see what the rest of their food is like. But from what I had, I can say tonight had the better food. If I order again, we'll see what's more consistent.

There are no birria tacos on the menu, so I settled for some chicken tacos. It tasted like mixed thigh meat that didn't taste too fresh to me. I prefer white meat. Something was off. There are seats and tables inside. But only a couple and it's not ideal for bigger groups. The food is always good. Had various tacos, chicken and steak quesadillas. I would the cecina and the chicken tinga on tacos and quesadillas. These were excellent but that meat is so juicy. The pricing is somewhat decent for the area. Costs are going on but it's still delicious and quality has not gone down. I repeat quality has not gone down. The only issue is parking and it's a high traffic area on the corner of Stillwater Ave and West Main Street. But every now and then you can find parking around the area. Highly recommend both this express location and the full restaurant also located in Stamford at 866 E Main St.
